I've visited this location many times and especially find it festive during the holiday season. AMBIANCE: This location is a standard WF store - spacious and clean. The store is also organized like other WF for convenience. I prefer it to the University Heights location. FOOD: Food selection is excellent and everything looks fresh! I found some items here that aren't available at my frequented University Heights destination. For instance, fresh breads you can pack yourself, plenty more smoked salmon options, liverwurst, chestnuts, and plenty of hot foods. During my last visit I picked up just a few favorites - smoked salmon, rotisserie chicken, baked bread, liverwurst, and some hot foods. I was very pleased with how easy it is to find everything especially later in the day. Typically, hot foods, bread, and rotisserie chicken are hard to find later in the day. The prices at Whole Foods are on the higher end. The ambiance and quality make it well worth it. SERVICE: The service is okay. The employees are selectively nice. Lines are usually long during busy shopping days like weekends. COFFEE SHOP: I've never had coffee inside the Whole Foods until today. I was very sleepy and needed a pick me up, wasn't in the mood to seek out a coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of coffee drinks like lattes and seasonal offerings. I selected drip coffee, which was $2.75 for a large. I was very happy with this cup of coffee - not too acidic, flavorful, and awakening. CHRISTMAS TREES: There are plenty of Christmas trees - $29.99 for table trees, and $69.99 for regular trees. Table trees were not very lush, but many people were purchasing them. There are plenty of choices here so that you don't have to make a journey to a farm or other market. I enjoy my visits to this store. I look forward to stopping in again soon. The experience I had there today, however, made me never want to go back: I spent a little over $20 and paid by credit card. The sales lady was very friendly, asked if I wanted my receipt in the bag or not. I put the receipt in my wallet, took the bag and left. A few hours later, when I habitually checked my credit card activity for the day, I saw that the amount spent at the Avon Kiosk was charged TWICE. I called the number on the receipt to make sure there was no problem. I spoke with a different sales lady, who appeared to be the manager. She was not at all friendly, said I never signed a credit slip. I was never asked to sign a credit slip. How did it matter, since the amount was charged....twice! Then the sales person said: "Well you just stormed outa there without paying". WHAT? I did pay and have the receipt to prove it! The only problem was, the charge was put through TWICE. Then (and only then) the sales woman told me the initial charge didn't go through, and it would "fall off" in a day or two. Why was this not the first thing I was told? Instead I'm accused of "running off without paying"? I did nothing wrong, but was spoken to like I had caused the store trouble. The end of it was that the sales person I spoke with hung up while I was still speaking. Her tone, attitude and unprofessional behavior was something I had not experienced before. To make a mistake does not have to be a problem, but to find fault with someone who has an issue with a mistake made by a cashier, even calling the customer dishonest (running off without paying?) is extremely offensive. A simple apology and explanation was all the situation called for. The overall rudeness and insults were inexcusable. - I usually give glowing reviews, because most places of business are truly wonderful. In this rare case I am not only unable to recommend the establishment, but must actually warn people NOT to go there. My experience was profoundly negative.

I contacted the store this morning to tell them what happened. I spoke with Fred (I think that was his name) and explained what I had ordered and when. He set aside replacement boxes for my sister to pick up. I was unsure when I hung up the phone whether my sister would have a bill when she picked up the replacements or if it would be no charge. I was delighted when my sister told me that there was no charge. The damage happened via FedEx, not this business, but I really appreciate the incredible customer service on the back end of the sale. I am so excited I will still be able to share these with my friends. Thank you so much!!
