We've been shopping here since they opened and it's one of our favorite stores. Some items do cost a little bit more but you can usually find anything you need. (just like the radio ad says) The only complaint we have is their idiotic Points Program. I think it's a joke. Not only is is it pretty much worthless but it only benefits Drug Mart so they can track what you buy and market accordingly. Not worth the time to show your little card. Even the employees smirk and roll their eyes when you ask them what you can do with the points. Sorry . . . if not for that, I'd give Drug Mart 5 stars.

When I was thinking about when I had time after work this week to pick up my cards, I decided I should probably get a flu shot since I'll already be there. There was no one waiting, but the pharmacy seemed pretty busy at filling prescriptions and working the drive thru. I showed up before my appointment and had to wait a bit. The lady that gave me the shot was very friendly. They no longer have a clinic at this store, so they had a special seat just for getting the flu shots. I do not desire to scan a customer loyalty card. This violates my purchasing privacy. Despite the excessive inputs required, only one kiosk screen is available for use. This design flaw consistently results in lines 10-15 customers deep, while a technician stands by simply watching the slow process play out. This is an inefficient use of both technology and staff time. My recent experiences have made it clear that this system is hindering customer service rather than improving it. As a result, I will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere.
