I thought I would give Ulta a try even though there were a lot of mixed reviews floating around the internet. Bottom line: I'm SO glad that I went! Everyone was amazingly nice and polite. They even offered me a water while I was waiting. After my hair was cut, they even straightened it for me! I'm over the moon with my hair too. Usually I'm always unhappy with how people cut my hair, but I'm thrilled with how it looks for once! I'll definitely be going back.

The final color looked nothing like the samples we were shown or what we had discussed. She only washed the section of hair that had been colored rather than washing all of her hair, and after rinsing the color, she didn't even dry my daughter's hair before we left. Most importantly, nearly all of the color had washed out by the first wash after being told that it would last for approximately three months. I understand that fashion colors can fade faster than traditional hair color, but having almost the entire color disappear after the first wash is completely unacceptable! Edit to add that I returned to the store today and spoke to store manager who was very apologetic and gave me a full refund.

Not only was I surprised that they answered, but how willing the representative was to research the item I wanted over the phone. She was kind and listened to my need. And, recommended other specialty products that could benefit me. They had the product I needed, and my own state and online shopping website could not assist. The representatives in the Elyria store seem to enjoy their jobs and treat people as if they do. Lately, this positivity is truly an asset to a business as personal as beauty care.
