For the past year I have been unable to get my prescriptions filled within a reasonable time period. This was true pre-pandemic. So, my main gripe is, I had an Amex $25 traveler's check I had received as a gift. After to cashiers didn't know how to process it, they called for a mgr. first she said she couldn't take it because it had my name on it, I sad it's a traveler's check, it's supposed to, then I sign it for you. Then she said they don't take it because she never saw one before? I was thinking a nat'l chain like CVS would know how to handle a simple transaction.... 5 stars for pharmacy because they are always so sweet. The rest of the cast here could be in a tv show it is sometimes a true disaster - I have never seen longer lines at a cvs. Every single time they have to call for register backup, which would make you think maybe having more than one person at the register at all times would be beneficial? Other than the register discussion it is your usual cvs. I think they can be a bit slow to restock. read more

This Pharmacy is poor, at best. They abuse the "in process" status for medication refills. They allow them to linger in this status for DAYS even with an active prescription. You literally have to CALL them, wait on hold for up to 15 minutes, to get them to FILL prescriptions that are " in process". It's like they forgot about it. I'm gonna find a different pharmacy as was suggested by my doctor. read more

Good stock but why is there always only one cashier? I waited 20 minutes to check out with two items while the lone cashier called three times for someone to come and help but no one ever did. read more

I'm only giving 5 stars to the pharmacist Felix, not to CVS. Felix is really the best I've ever come across. He's efficient and really seems to care about the customers. He's also is aware of huge drug prices and works to get the best price for the customer. read more

Super sketch, half of products locked up and someone may eventually come help you. Not worth it to try and pick something up. Also pharmacy is is super duper slow to get meds ready. read more

Appalled with the workers here. I received a text that was incorrect and waited on hold all morning (4 separate lines) for 4 hours and nobody answered, forcing me to enter the store at a time when people should be isolating due to Covid. They realized they sent me the wrong information but refused to give me confirmation of the correct information. While there I witnessed them ignoring many phone calls and socializing with their friends. The pharmacists were all rude and I did not receive a single apology for their misinformation. When I asked the pharmacist to put her mask on which was only covering her bottom lip her response was that I could "step back and leave" if I wanted to. We can now see why Covid-19 is spreading so fast. Shame on this branch, it's no surprise why they have a terrible rating. COVID-19 is a public health emergency and they need to take this seriously by responding to phone calls and wearing masks properly. read more

This is the best CVS in the H Street area. Big,clean, organized, well-stocked. The people are super friendly...I go there all the time! There's another CVS way close to me that I'll go to in a pinch, but it's 100% a bad experience at the other one. I have loved this one on H!!! read more

They're supposed to open at 7 however it's 7:06 and the doors are locked and I'm still standing outside. Horrible customer service always!

Pharmacy staff are excellent. Customer service is on point. Lines can get long before closing, but there's not typically much of a wait relative to the other pharmacies in the area. read more

This is a pretty good CVS, well-stocked, spacious, very nice staff, including a young woman who patiently showed me how to work that thing in the front that spits out coupons when you swipe your card. The coupons are totally hit or miss--I mean, who really needs $20 worth of toothpaste *today*? I was mainly disappointed in the food section. There's lots of shelf space, but there isn't the selection there should be. Other than that though, an overall good CVS. read more

This is a 5 star review for helpful and friendly Mike for the H St CVS. Tonight I called CVS on 12th and asked if they had tri fold boards and was told the staff was too busy to tell me if they had them in stock. I then called Mike at CVS on H and he quickly checked for me and offered to hold the board at the check out. When I arrived, he greeted me with a smile and offered to show me another style they had in the aisle. Wow, thanks, Mike! read more

Friendly, helpful service. 2 people asked me if I needed help. I asked where lint rollers were, and they right away new exactly where they were in the store. Pretty impressive, considering I went on the 2nd day they were open, and it's not a very popular item. Nice addition to the neighborhood. read more

Im not sure what is wrong with DC cvs but they never have my prescriptions ready correctly and frequently make it very tough to get the meds I need. read more

This pharmacy is the worst...unprofessional staff especially in the pharmacy. I've went to the pharmacy a few times to get my sons very special medication. I asked the young lady was it in stock? She ensured me it was she never asked the pharmacist whether or not it was. As soon as I walked back into work I get a call from CVS saying they don't have the medication. Furious already because I wasted my time dropping the prescriptions off. I spoke with the same young lady I dropped the scripts off to. She said the meds would be in the next day I said ok I'll pick everything up tomorrow. She asked about what time? I said what's the best time she said about 4 or 5. I said ok I'll be there, next day I called to inquire about the medication the PHARMACIST says oh it's not ready yet we are working on it mind you it's 3pm I said ok what time? She says 6 pm I said wait the young lady said 4 or 5 yesterday so she said ok come at 5. I got to the pharmacy counter at 5:50. Greeted by an unfriendly pharmacy technician I gave the information that was needed to search for my sons medication. She said oh they are working on it about 10 more minutes. I said ma'am I called earlier they said the medication would be ready at this point I'm blowing smoke out my ears I'm "PISSED"! She said I'll get it about 5 minuets later the pharmacist said oh I'm sorry I was the 2nd person you spoke to and I didn't see the type of medication you were looking for it takes about 2 weeks for the medication to come in. I TOLD HER TO GIVE ME MY PRESCRIPTIONS BACK. I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THAT PHARMACY AGAIN THIS IS THE SECOND ISSUE I HAVE HAD WITH THIS PHARMACY. I was just thinking what if it were a heart medication for my son or a seizure medication anything. I feel like they just don't care at this pharmacy I will be writing to corporate and to the store manager. read more
