I'm so happy actually to read the negative reviews below because I have had 2 unpleasant experiences at the PHARMACY, and I'm so glad to know that it's not me, it's THEM. The first time I went there to fill eye drops for a family case of conjunctivitis. Since I looked horrific, I sent my husband in to pay for the prescription. It was our first time there, and they didn't ask him if we had insurance, so they just charged him full price. So, then when I went in to rectify the situation, they did not want to give us a refund, nor did they want to let me return the drops. I had to stand there putting up a fuss with gross eyes until they FINALLY relented. And they were SO rude about it. Tonight, I thought I would try one more time. Honestly, when I realized my doctor had sent the prescription to this pharmacy, I had a pit in my stomach. I used the drive-through because my son was ill and sleeping. Brian F. was nice enough at first, and then told me to "loop around again" while he put my insurance information into the computer. I just waited where I was because there was no one else around. So, five minutes later, Brian F. gives me an impatient "roll down your window" gesture, and tells me very condescending to loop around again because he will be with me shortly. I explained that I wasn't looping around because there wasn't anyone else around, and again he condescendingly/impatiently said, "But I can't have you sitting here!" When I did loop around and returned to the window 6 minutes later, I told him I thought his tone was rude and condescending. He did apologize, but from his demeanor you could tell that he didn't really care. Then, he handed me my prescription and didn't bother to ask me if I knew how to administer it. He just said, "Be sure to shake it and refrigerate it," and then shut the window. I've never been to a pharmacy where the service was so unprofessional. read more

I am really saddened and angry with a false claim of shoplifting a pen (probably a few dollars worth). It happened on Saturday 24th October 2015. This CVS at 800 Lexing. It was in the morning before 11.00 am, I went to CVS to check foam stickers for Halloween décor. I did not touch anything as there was no foam sticker and I was about to leave, suddenlyton one employee shouted from the front "..Show me ur pocket..". I showed him my pocket which had sunflower husks remainder and nothing else. I was so pissed off that I dialed 911. Within few minutes, police came in and I told what happened. That particular employee showed a pen which was on his hand (not from my jacket pocket or bag). He told the police that from an overhead mirror, he saw me picking and hiding that pen. After hearing it, police asked me to immediately leave the store or else I would be arrested of trespassing. Even the police blamed me that I was a shoplifter according to that employee. The lady manager and one another lady employees also accused me because according to them I was nervous. After I got out from the store I cried a lot. Once I was out, the police asked me where I was going to. I told him I was going to TJMaxx. He told me not to steal from there. I was devastated when I heard it. I could not sleep properly that day and I am still very much angry with what has happened. I don't know what to do at this moment. I don't know if I can just sue them for this type of behavior. I will keep on posting this everywhere so that others should know what is coming. This should not happen to anyone.these all stationary things go on sal e on the month of aug u get free pens on advertisement shop read more

I stopped in to make a purchase for my father using his CVS card because he has been too sick to go himself. The older woman working in the Photo area was so rude and would not allow me to use his card even after I made my reason as to why I was there clear. I was so embarrassed when she made a seen about how I could not use the card. Never again will I use this CVS. read more

I always dislike going here because of the self check out, much like everyone else. Twice I've had so many things to buy that I wanted to go to the register, both times a woman convinced me to use the self check out saying she would help me and neither time she did. Very inconvenient to never have really anyone at the register. And when people need help at the self check out, the employees are always slow to come and resolve the issue. Which brings me to why I was motivated to write this review. A man was "helping" a customer next to me at the self check out. When really they were just talking and he was probably trying to flirt with her. I needed assistance because something wouldn't scan. I tried to pause for a break in conversation, never happened. So I just said "it's not scanning". No acknowledgment. I tried to scan it several more times. Then I said it again. And pressed the request assistance button. He finally finishes with her and asks me what's wrong. As he's trying to figure it out he says to me "You can't scan something so you have to scream?". That comment really creeped me out since I was completely calm save for the slight irritation in my voice. While he was working on the screen he never excused himself and stood really close to me. This man definitely was at least a shift leader or supervisor if not the manager as the employees needed his help afterwards and he no doubt passive aggressively was slow to answer them. He really made my skin crawl. read more

Well, its just average... nothing really that great about it at all.... In fact, I avoid getting my prescription filled there because I always run into problems. I have out of state insurance and they just dont understand how to use my insurance card (which is BCBS). They always end up calling my insurance company and then arguing with them on the phone. For some reason they dont understand that my insurance company/card is the same for prescriptions. read more

I would give it less than zero stars if I could! The worst pharmacy ever! My insurance requires me to use CVS or I wouldn't step foot in any of their stores. Every time we go to get a prescription there is an issue, ie. putting meds on automatic renewal without asking, ID card out of date (not!), texting meds are ready for pick up and they are not or it takes them 20 minutes to find it as they mis-filed it. I miss Walgreen's. read more

The only reason why I gave a 1 star is because that's the minimum. I went to go check out at a self scan. Scanned my order in and paid in cash. But when I was getting change it never came out and an employee came and picked up a fallen sign that said no cash. I asked if I could get my change he said no so I asked to talk to the manager. He came and he said no because was posted and it was my fault. Which made no sense since his employee picked it up after I paid. Absolutely the worst CVS ever it just needs to close down. read more

Awful place. Loud bad music blasted over the speakers, interspersed with static-y announcements. There is usually only one person to check you out, so you are forced to use the automated checkout lanes. I have gotten through these without assistance exactly NEVER. This puts me in a terrible mood; I then have someone standing over my shoulder watching as I process my order. There's nothing wrong with having an auto-checkout lane or two, but the store shouldn't force it's customers to use them. This store will never have an extra cashier available...they always wait until there is a long line before calling for help. It is just the worst CVS that I shop at. read more

Terrible drug store. Consistently very slow at filling prescriptions and they have now lost more than one of ours. We gave them too many chances due to proximity, but we're done with them now. It's clearly an issue with management, because when they made a mistake in not activating the gift card they gave us to apologize for losing our prescription (yes, they even screwed up fixing their screwup!) the cashier asked the manager if he was going to speak to the pharmacy and he shrugged it off. read more

The manager, Art Larkin, was extremely rude and condescending when he was notifying me that I could not use my CVS coupon that was only a couple of days old, which all other CVS stores that I went to were extremely pleasant and accommodating in regards to my request. Even the associate was very rude about it and was yelling across the store in front of many customers regarding the coupon. Overall very unpleasant customer service. read more

Got really rude service (if you can even call it service) from Michael at the pharmacy. This is the second time that Michael has shown his nasty, unhelpful attitude. He really should be terminated. In case there is more than one Michael that works at this CVS, the nasty Michael is the tall guy with brown hair who is starting to lose his hair and go prematurely bald. He always seems angry. read more

I have had a problem with my prescription 9 out of 10 times I have been to this CVS. I used to work at a drug store pharmacy and know the in's and out's and how challenging filling Rx's can be (dealing with HMOs, ignorant patients, nasty doctors and nurses, etc.) but these guys are really subpar. My ex-boyfriend's dog was epileptic and on multiple medications to manage his condition. CVS gave him incorrect doses on multiple occasions, so much so that a vet actually had his phenobarb levels tested because he seemed so out of wack and, surprise surprise, he was on way too high a strength. When the original Rx was pulled, they realized they mis-filled it. There were also a number of occasions when my refills weren't ready when I had personally called them in hours or even days ago. The only saving grace here is that the store is tidy, normally full stocked, and the front end is usually well staffed so there's minimal waits. read more

I transferred a prescription here from the Main st. Waltham. After reading reviews I was dreading going here, but calling in refills and having them filled have gone smoothly. The pharmacist picks up promptly, is polite, calls my doctor if there are no more refills, and usually my prescription is ready in 30 minutes. Once he even called back within 5 minutes when it turned out I had another 2 days to wait until my insurance would cover the cost. So maybe a new hire? But so far so good. read more
