If I could give them ZERO stars, it would be ZERO! I called in the morning to see if Rx was ready. Said they were. I drive OUT OF MY WAY after work and no Rx! Long, dumb story short, they had it filled but put them back cuz they had them for 2 weeks. ?? How is that when I never got a call saying they were ready. This is the worst pharmacy. Rite Aid closed and prescriptions were transferred here. You cannot get a manager or pharmacist on the phone for anything. Trying to reach a manager after the AI bot in pharmacy would not ring a pharmacist the phone rang for a full 4 minutes before I gave up. Just terrible!!! read more

Cashier served a man that was redeeming CA lotto scratchers after the man cut in line. Directed me without asking how I was paying that credit card transactions where being done at self pay register. I presume a $60 + purchase is not important to him or this establishment. I give him one star, only because he did say "Have a nice day", with a grin on his face. Taking my business elsewhere. Whoever was working at 7:45 pm on 9/30 needs to be evaluated for their ability to work with customers. I had a simple question and asked her to elaborate on why they couldn't bill my insurance for a flu shot, but Walgreens can. It was a simple question, and she instantly became aggressive and said "I've been doing this for 30 years, I know what I'm talking about." No explanation, just told me to bug off and hung up. The incompetent manager couldn't even ring up a simple manufacture's coupon. I had to wait there while the manager, who looked like he just wandered off the street, kept ringing the same coupon as if by magic that would fix the problem the 20th time around. I took the coupon next door to Stater Bros. They sold the same item for significantly less, and got me out faster. Considering the place was packed with customers, that's a laugh. This store is absolutely disgusting. I don't leave Yelp reviews but felt I needed to on this one. The outside of store has graffiti everywhere and trash all over the place. I have lived in Vista my whole life so I know how the graffiti can be but come on, clean up the parking lot. The air conditioning was out so was super hot and I felt like I was going to pass out. Wow, this is the worst CVS Pharmacy I've ever dealt with! Rude, unapologetic and VERY long phone holds to ask a simple question. I was hung up on once and placed on hold twice for 15 minutes each time. When I explained to them that I was trying to get through for an hour they didn't apologize or explain - they seemed angry. When they took my insurance info they transferred me to the pharmacist, I then explained AGAIN the horrible customer service I was receiving and she said with a curt tone, I'll transfer you to someone else...then another long wait. In light of the world epidemic known as the COVID-19, I felt it would only be right to go ahead and take the time to write a review and let other shoppers know of the dreadful and disgusting service on behalf of a "manager". Although it is no secret that the world has been placed at a sudden stop with such a life changing virus, over the past couple of days everyone has been running around in hopes of stocking up on household needs. My mother happened to stop by on March 13th 2020 at approximately 9:00 AM, with great hopes of finding some toilet paper, when she was told that she would be "kicked out of the store" if she asked to buy more toilet paper because her family is quite large. The store manager at the time (whom I have no name for), portrayed and depicted exactly the lack of professionalism and much needed training that evidently she has to complete to even be considered a manager worth paying. CVS, train your "managers" to act professionally and provide the customer service for which you pay their training. This individual clearly lacks all the characteristics to define a manager. My doctor called in a prescription for me to pick up that evening they told me it won't be ready in a hour then they called me back and told me it would be till the next day at 10 AM so I drove over there at 10 AM oh then they said it's not ready yet you have to come back in an hour you should've been done the day before THIS IS B.S. this places is on real. The 2 female pharmacists and the floor staff are great at this store. This is a very busy store and the employees that I have come in contact with at this location have a very welcoming and helpful manner and they get the meds out as quickly as possible. There is a RiteAid store within 200 yards of my home and yet I would rather drive a few miles to receive the excellent service that I get every time at this store. The location on North Santa Fe used to be the best pharmacy- fast, friendly, efficient and helpful. This has all changed in the last 6-9 months. The staff seems overwhelmed, stressed out and angry The actual pharmacists are usually kind, although rushed, but their are individual counter staff that really need to look for employment that they enjoy more. There is one woman who I swear hates people, most particularly me! Previously I have been using the CVS app on my phone and everything worked fine. Now prescriptions get lost or ignored. I have gone in to pick up my stuff, they have it in their system and have not done anything. There has been a couple times I had no idea stuff was ready, and the woman at the counter suggested that they would return it to the shelf if I didn't come in sooner. Recently I have been caught up in a battle between the pharmacy and my doctor- the pharmacy insists they have faxed the doctor for refills and received no reply. The pharmacy had me call the doctor's office, I called and the doctor's office said they have not gotten anything. I confirm the fax number and call CVS back, they say they are faxing that number and they will try again (?). CVS tells me to call them later to see if they have gotten anything back from the doctor. Finally I go there in person because trying to call them is a 30 minute nightmare. The guy at the counter starts telling me the date AND TIME they sent the faxes. I whip out my phone to call the doctor, which prompts counter guy to call them himself. They get something settled, he tells me again to call CVS later to see if the doctor's office sent anything. Eventually I go to pick up my scripts. There is one missing, the counter lady (new to this situation) tells me the doctor's office did not respond the their fax, they will try again and I should call the doctor's office. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. Back to Walgreen's I go. read more

Went in to pharmacy to get a refill the pharmacist a young guy told me he will have to call my other pharmacy to make a transfer and then call me in a half hour so I went home waited for 3 hours and I decided to call and check the status I was told by a lady there that my meds were ready for pick up so i went back to cvs and was told I dont have any meds ready the guy that helped me earlier said they never got though to my pharmacy so I wasted my time coming back to cvs when they could of told me that through the phone I felt like I was getting the run arounds don't go here if you don't have patience with b.s read more

First visit to this location yesterday and needed to get a prescription filled. They were busy but the lady at the drop off counter told me they would call my name on the overhead and text me when my prescription was filled. She expected it would be 15-20 minutes. (I was there with a migraine so was hoping it would be done quickly.) After an hour and 10 minutes I walked back up to check what the status was. The lady at the counter told me that I was set aside but they would move me to the top of the pile. Apparently there was no issue with my script getting filled...they had just moved me to the side despite the fact that I told them I was sitting and waiting with a migraine. Five minutes later I was called, picked up my script and went home - only to realize that they had only given me 4 of the 12 pills that my doctor had prescribed. I'm on my way back to get the rest of the medication but won't be making another trip back to this location. read more
