NEVER has our prescriptions ready on time when they say they'll have them ready! The most recent screw up was on Friday 12/2. I had to go down to our incompetent healthcare clinic in person since it's impossible to get an actual human there on the phone and get them to call the pharmacy in order to have my partner's meds filled. Rite Aid claimed they had no record of my partner calling them first about it when he said he did multiple times. On my way home I stopped in at this location we go to and double checked if they were working on filling the prescriptions. I was told by the girl at the counter that all of them were except one because they didn't have a refill order for it, but the others would be ready in an hour. Even though my partner already gets notified when his prescriptions are ready, he was at work at the time. So I had her put in my phone number to be notified as well when they'd be ready. Needless to say, neither of us were notified. My partner then stopped in on his way home from work and to no surprise they STILL weren't ready! The next day on Saturday 12/3 he finally got the notification that his prescriptions were ready. When he went to pick them up, he was then told they couldn't be given to him because they didn't have the doctor's release authorization. Granted that's also the fault of True Care. However, you'd think the pharmacist would make the effort to call the clinic in order to get it. Especially before the weekend when most of the departments are closed and there'd most likely not be a doctor in the office for them to talk to and get the authorization. Now we can't get my partner's meds he needs and have to continue to wait until the next business day. Funny side note: on Sunday 12/4 I myself finally got the notification that the prescriptions were ready. Doesn't matter now since we can't get them. When the hell are these people going to realize that a person's health and livelihood doesn't run on a 9-5 Monday through Friday schedule?! Unbelievable incompetence putting people's health at risk. read more

The pharmacy technician named Kisha is an absolute angel! Came to pick up prescriptions but there were issues with my insurance. Decided to just pay out of pocket with GoodRX coupons. The pharmacists weee waiting to perform the refills until the payment got sorted out - and she helped out so much by having them expedite the refills for me after I decided to pay out of pocket. This pharmacy is ran by turtles. Do not recommend ever coming here. Been sitting in this line for 25 minutes and it hasn't moved. Needs new management and a whole new staff. Not to mention waiting for your prescription is another nightmare in itself. Waiting hours for a prescription that was faxed over 5 hours ago is complete BS. They no longer have people up front to take your money. They now have 2 self-service machines and seem to want you to use that. The items in the store is not labeled currently on the shelfs and the medications are way over priced. If you look on Amazon it is often half the price and they can ship it out and even deliver it on same day. read more

Is very hard for me to leave a review for this pharmacy because I have received nothing but the best service. However, I noticed that they have new staff and they are slow and lack basic customer service skills. The Spanish speaking cashier is all over the place, this week I went to pick up my monthly medicine (which was ready), it was not busy. I don't know what happened but the new male pharmacist took forever to come outside. Once he comes outside, he goes to help someone else who arrived much later than me without asking who was first. Meanwhile the cashier just stood there without saying anything about how much I had been waiting for and that I was next. And course the customer played dumb too. So I had to wait for the pharmacist forever, then wait some more for him to help someone that arrived much later than me. I was on my lunch break and things like this matter when you are on a time limit. I should have said something but believe me, next time I will. Hopefully the staff will get more training. Worst pharmacy in north county. Expect at least one day for your prescription to be ready. Dont expect to be able to pick uo any prescription in the same day. Its you get what you get over there m. Sadly a lot of elderly in the area have no choice read more

This place is a joke, doesn't call you when you have certain meds you cannot miss that are ready for pickup usually isn't a problem with this place but has been the past 5 times. When you complain to them about serious f**king medical problems they just reply with "okay cool" then hang up. You work as a medical professionals why don't you fools act like it. read more

I admit the only reason I come here is to pick up prescriptions for my 88 year old mother but when I do I usually end up buying a few things. I notice a lot of picked through shelves, but that might be because of items being on sale. They do have a few good deals weekly, some aren't so good. The pharmacy is a little slower than the one I use, but the staff is really friendly. As a kid I loved coming here to get an ice cream cone, but now it's rare that anybody is behind the counter, and almost impossible to get anybody to come to it, sad. read more

im writing this review is based on this one experience my family had on monday. a homeless man, still put together, came in and bought ice cream (so at this point he's a customer), he starts to complain about the scoop or something and the worker goes "there's so many other ice cream places bro". the homeless man asked do you know who I am and this worker starts to go off about how he lives in his truck and he's homeless so he must be blah blah. it was SO unprofessional, rude and super F'd up to shame the poor old man. i live right by the store and every other encounter customer service has been amazing but this worker was OUT OF LINE. i work in customer service and have been screamed at by homeless and have never reacted this unpleasant. didn't get his name but he had brown hair, skinny and glasses. read more

I've been coming to this pharmacy location for years. I switched over from a few other pharmacies. All the staff is always professional they know me by name and always have my meds ready when promised. They have all been working there since I switched over and I wish I knew all their names to post so they get recognition. The only newer person is the cashier, but she fits in and seems sweet. But I've had nothing but positive experiences with every single person in this pharmacy. I hope that they stay there forever because they really know what they're do - sadly, not sure what had happened or if someone is on leave or vacation? But, I'm not a fan of all these new random people, are not the same staff. If the two lovely ladies that have worked there forever, are gone. I'll be switching pharmacies if that is the case, I have no choice but to transfer out. I appreciate and only switched all my prescriptions here because of the amazing staff. But, I'm very unimpressed with these new staff and am hoping none of them quit. Because, this staff is amazing and know me by my name and always are so considerate. read more

The Vista Rite Aid is by far the worst pharmacy for prescriptions. Their unorganized, messed up my profile which led to my prescriptions not being filled with no phone call in an attempt for correction. When I called asking why they hadn't sent a text message that it was ready for pick up they informed me that my insurance was canceled which was incorrect. How could this could have happened? Their screw ups continued to proceed when they said my prescription would be ready in 30 minutes. We went in 1.5 hours later and they were rude and informed us we still has to wait another hour. Almost 8 hours after the prescription was sent in and received! We left and returned home, I attempted to call the pharmacy manager and was hung up on 3 times. I find this entire situation completely unacceptable. They will NEVER have our business again. read more

Went in to get a passport photo today. I've been here once before and the experience went without a hitch. The people who work there are genuine. I talked with a gentlemen who had just relocated jobs, he was the one who went through the passport process with me. (The whole thing took a little longer than 5 minutes, to include printing the pictures) He was personable and polite, so was the cashier at the register, I was able to be in and out quicker than I expected. I also heard from him that this location will be undergoing renovation shortly that will leave it looking much nicer than it currently looks (which isn't that bad at all). My total for the photo was I think like $8.70. Not too shabby for quick service like that. I give them two thumbs up. read more

I moved to the area 5 months ago, so I decided to have my prescriptions filled at this location and I'm glad I did. All the employees here at this location are very friendly and courteous,but one stands out the most and that's Arleen. Arleen is always in a good mood and really goes above and beyond for my children and I, whenever we are in the store. Arleen really has the patience to always get us some ice cream even if she's at the register with another customer across the way, she'll still acknowledge us and attends to us as soon as she's done with the other customers. I will honestly pay the extra $2 for advil at Rite Aid instead of going to Albertsons because the Arleens customer service is above and beyond. Rite Aid!!! Went in today to make a purchase and although there was one line, it went fast. The customer service employee Arleen was super friendly and patient with the card reader that wasn't swiping ( I used 2 different cards). The store seemed under staffed but she handled it like a breeze. I was going to get cash out for ice cream and she re rang my order so I could pay at the register. Customers began to file in for ice cream and she moved over to scoop us all up as well! She was doing and amazing job and with a smile. I tried to tip her for serving us and she handed it back with a thank you. Would give 5 stars, but had to subtract one because I feel bad for the employees not having enough help. Normally this Rite Aid has been on point! Id normally give a five star rating- but the other day, I went in to pick up a prescription, and the pharmacist was an hour late. Thank goodness I had no where to be, or that could have been a bit of an issue. Other than that, they are so helpful! I call in to fill my prescription, they're very helpful. They're very prompt when it comes to sending in refills to my doctor, and communicating with my doctors office. Well first of all I have to say that this is a great Store and has always had Excellent Customer Service, Until one day 7-3-14 Me and my girlfriend happen to stop by for some Ice cream, so we walked in an we noticed an employee with the Name Of "JENNIFER" who quickly left the Ice Cream Department as soon as she saw that me and my girlfriend were approaching the ice cream department. I went to pick up my time-sensitive medication because I received a text message explaining it was ready. I went to the pharmacy. The pharmacist explains to me that my doctor's office needs to "call in" to verify the prescription. I call my doctor at the store and my doctor explains that everything is fine on their end. I then speak to the pharmacist who tells me it will take a day or two to "process." I get another text message the following day that my prescription is ready. I go to pick it up, and the pharmacist again tells me it's not there. I ask why then I got a text message and he responded with "sometimes they just send for no reason." I ask what's holding up the medication and he says it's my doctors office. I call them again and they explain that it's fine on their end. I explain this to the pharmacist who then acts condescending towards me and tells me to wait a day. Days of this back and forth behavior led to me MISSING an entire month of my medication on Rite Aids fault. I called my doctor and they explained to me that someone from Rite Aid TOLD my doctor that I was "on vacation" and "never came in once to pick up the medication." This was a blatant lie. I was angry and upset mostly because I would be missing a month of my medication due to this pharmacy and their incompetent service. I spoke with the manager who didn't seem to care at all, and called a customer service line and reported the pharmacist who worked with me for lying to my doctors on my behalf. I switched pharmacies because of this behavior and outright rudeness towards their customer. They belittled me on the phone, I was nothing but patient with them, I just wanted to understand what was going on. Instead I got condescending remarks, sarcastic behavior, and overall nasty treatment for wanting nothing but my medication. I honestly don't understand how people can justify behaving like that. Don't go to this Rite Aid if you ever want to be treated with dignity. read more
