This is my go to pharmacy because it is close by. I love and hate it. I love that it has a drive-thru and that it's close by. Some of the pharmacist staff are friendly and smile. I hate it because my meds are never ready when they say they are. Some of the staff are like cardboard cutouts. They don't always have a pharmacist talk to you when you get a new prescription. Some of the staff are so excruciatingly slow that you just want to put your car in park, walk into the building, into the pharmacy and take care of it yourself. Even though you would have no idea what you are doing, you are convinced that you could figure it out and still do it faster than them. I guess I should have rated them with two stars as it seems I have more hate than love. read more

I am so surprised to see all the bad reviews! I have never tried their drive-through, but I use their pharmacy for both regular medications and hard to find medication's, and they have always been helpful, and helped me find coupons when I need one, and really went out of their way to try to find a medication that was urgent and much needed and difficult to find. They are great with routine medication refills, they have a great multi day pick up window, which I very much appreciate, they give text reminders every few days if you haven't yet, had a chance to pick up your medications, which is super helpful for busy people like me, their staff has always been kind and patient, and the line has never been long to get my medication. I also enjoy going through the aisles of the store to browse, because they have lots of interesting merchandise, including seasonal items, grocery staples, vitamins, beauty products, house goods, etc. I recently switched to have this be my regular pharmacy because their hours are so much better than those of the one I was using prior. I hope other people have a great experience with them too. I really like them! Oh, also, I did sign up for the monthly membership thing, which more than pays for itself if you buy a couple things with the coupons they give you each month. Seriously rude! Takes forever, prob the worst experience I've had at a CVS Pharmacy. If you can fill elsewhere please do. This place is RUDE not professional and the wait for your prescriptions is INSANE. They're really good at their scheduled lunch making sure that's on time but that's about it. Manager said they could not do anything about it in store and to call corporate. They got us nowhere, we disputed the charge on her visa but CVS revoked it. The exact same thing happened when my daughter bought me gift cards for my birthday in March. I'm not going there ever again and I'm telling everyone I know what happened. This is worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Nothing is ever right. You get a text alert that you stuff is ready for pick up but when you get there it's never ready 90% of the time this happens or they tell you that it was already picked up. They eventually get it figured out and all they do is blame the computer system. Nothing ever changes it's the same story evertime. I guess this is their standard because nothing ever get fixed. They know they don't have to fix it because people need a pharmacy no matter what. I know mistakes happed nothing is perfect but when every day practice is making mistakes that's a problem. At this point, they don't even deserve . I have been getting the same medication at this location for over six months. It is a specific brand, as I am to the glue the other brand. I have left notes in my account at the pharmacy and explicitly tell them what to order and to have when I'm refilling my prescription. Every single time I have in to get my prescription, it's the wrong brand. And nine out of 10 times they it and I back. I went in last week because I was going on vacation. I told them I was going on vacation and I needed my medication early. And that they would most likely it. Then she told me it was too early to . And I told her I need a vacation override. They said OK fine we'll order it. We'll have it on Monday. It's Wednesday, I heard anything from the . I , they have no idea what I'm talking about, they don't have the product, and they told me I have to call my insurance company for a vacation override. I don't know if that's , but I've never had to do that before. It's always come from the . Regardless, I'm leaving on my trip tomorrow. They may not have it in time. I told her that she has to figure this out because I can't leave town without my medication and I came in a week and you guys didn't do your job. After this prescription, I will never use CVS at this location ever again. And I probably won't even ever use CVS again because they're horrible. read more

I have had multiple issues with this pharmacy and finally decided to switch today. First issue was a medication they told me for MONTHS was not available. Called for a routine check and they said "oh! Human error someone entered the medication incorrectly in the system, I'll switch it and you'll get it in a day." So i waited MONTHs and no one caught it?? Makes no sense. The I went separately (3 times) to fill an RX on a Friday, they told me "it was entered Monday" ... no. I was in person with a sick toddler 3 times in one day missing work, I would remember. Whenever i call i get responses that don't make sense. I asked why I wasn't called or provided an update on something after almost a week (I also called and requested updates) - "oh yeah... no we didn't." The lack of care here is incredible. If I could leave zero stars I would!!! The older guy that was wrong in the front was an absolute a**hole!! We needed some help with a couple of coupons that weren't loading and he was so rude. He had a stubble beard with a bit of grey hair in it. He was wearing black Nike air maxx shoes. Stay away from him if you don't want your day ruined! I am old and on a fixed income. I bought 3 beauty products from the Vista store on Civic Center drive. Don't ever buy them there. None of the items were any good. No color to speak of. I returned one item after a lengthy process and was told the others could not be refunded. They did not appear in the system. Funny because the packaging was intact and the CVS label was present. I was told to contact the Manager. I spoke to Jason which incidentally has no last name and at the end of the conversation he hung up on me before giving me the number for company headquarters. That is how I ended up here! Way too much trouble for a little blush and mascara. Think of the gas I wasted for nothing! Lost about $20! Go to Target!!! You don't have to look up corporate headquarters to get what you paid for. They gave me a refund slip but no refund ever showed up in my account. Horrible customer service in the Pharmacy!!! There automated system sucks and it is almost impossible to talk to anyone! They will price-gouge you on your prescription as well. The pharmacy I normally used could not order my prescription because corporate head decision to no longer make it available. So I transferred my prescription here. One would think it would be an opportunity to gain new business and have a new network of customers (my whole family); however, they could not fill it because they were simply incompetent to place an order after the doctor calls in the prescription. My first clue should have been when they called me a day after receiving the prescription to ask me the dosage!?????? I played phone tag gymnastics with them for two more days until I finally called the main store. The store manager, to my surprise was very helpful and relayed a message to the Pharmacy and had them call me back promptly. Pharmacy had no idea of what prescription I needed and or the why they called me.... Then they said oh yah we have it and it will be ready in 15 min. Until Finally calking me back and admitting They didn't order my prescription and they would have to charge me more than twice the amount I payed at Rite Aid. Oh and it would take another week! They already had a week! I would highly recommend not using this Pharmacy! I do not like to leave reviews; but, they were so rude and incompetent that I really want to save some else from experiencing what I had to. Maybe the main store is managed much better. read more

I come to this CVS often for Rx. The pharmacy department never gave me any issues always helpful and polite. And then I use self checkout for other items. And I'm so thankful for that because of I had to deal with what happened today 4/25/24 at 8:20 am. I would have thrown down with this lady. She was stocking up in the toothbrush aisle. I needed to get in that aisle but since she was working I did the rest of my shopping to give her time. She ended up right where I needed to be. I felt bad but I needed to get in there so I can leave. I even huddled up to shelves to be less in her way, and she was able to get around. But that lady!!!!! Rrrrrr she pushed her cart away and it slammed into the other cart caring items you can hear her huff and puff right before slamming the carts! It shocked me! I asked her did I offend you by grabbing a toothbrush that needed?? She said, "oh oh.. no your ok". Oh man I'm fuming! Like I need your negativity to start my day! And the only reason why I didn't say her name or complain to corporate is because I know jobs and money is tight these days. But CVS lady!!! Augh! You a lucky I know Jesus. This pharmacy is a nightmare to get medication from. To call and speak to a pharmacist, the automated system will take about 5 minutes to even get to a human. I have never gotten a person. I was told they would let me know when the medication was filled, but they never did. There is only one register opened and they wont open another one. So, if the person in front of you needed help. As a disabled person with a severe disability, I have never felt more discriminated against than today by Pharmacy Manager Tran Nguyen. This person claimed she wouldn't fill my prescription because my Dr is from northern California, yet I have PPO and can go to a Dr anywhere who specializes in my condition. When I informed her, I had prescriptions filled by this Dr for my specialized condition before, through her Pharmacy, she then changed to saying she would not fill it because it was a controlled substance. Then tried talking about my prescription history without my authorization. She treated me like I was an addict, she was arrogant, dismissive, and acting  like my disability didn't matter. Like it was my job to find another Dr, only in North County, yet she still would not fill it.  When I asked for her name, she was dismissive again. When I walked into the store & was polite, she continued being rude, only offered her first name, and later just slid a card on the desk after multiple requests politely. The heartless nature, the humiliating treatment of a disabled person, and coldness to my condition is honestly a testament to this person's character. Acting as though I am an addict and telling me she doesn't feel comfortable ordering for me specifically is pure discrimination. If I am an addict, how is this the first time ever I was prescribed a small order of this medication Tran? I will file a direct complaint to disability associations across the nation, CVS, and beyond. This is not how you treat people with disabilities. I suggest you choose empathy for people with disabilities Tran. You work in healthcare, honor your last name and treat people with dignity. I cannot leave a zero, so here is your 1 star. read more

Rudest employees ever. Truly. My kid was about to pee her pants and they couldn't have been more unhelpful. Said their restrooms were down after they knew we were standing there waiting for 10 minutes. One of their employees came out of the employee restroom, we heard her flush, but when we asked to use that restroom since the other one was clearly not available, they told us all the bathrooms were down. The pharmacist are amazing. They go beyond to just help you. They were paging my doctor several times to find out if my med is correct. Keeping in touch with me and my doctor's office. They also said if prescription is wrong, they would have them send new prescription and have it ready for me. Amazing customer service, they educate you very well on the meds your getting. The verbal abuse I experienced this evening was absolutely unacceptable and should not be ignored. A member of store management said to me, and I quote: "I will beat your ass!.", when I was shopping there earlier this evening. And then the register employee also continued to throw out degrading and rude remarks to me as I put my items down and walked out the front door. Worst pharmacy ever. I have been going to CVS for years and this has to be given ZERO stars. The man who works at the pharmacy not only was rude and told me my medication was not at this location (when my sheet from the doctor clearly said it was at this location) but also proceeded to read out all my prescriptions -- not the name but the actual type of product it was, which is a complete violation of patient privacy. A woman helped me there before as well and she looked and acted like she hated her life. I now drive 20 extra minutes to a different CVS so I don't have to deal with the people here. I can't even give this CVS one star. The errors they made that delayed my daughter's prescriptions for 6 days is inexcusable. In addition, Daisy was rude, interrupted and discourteous. Whoever is managing this pharmacy should have their license revoked in my opinion. Delaying a patient their medication due to errors on their part should not be allowed. Came to this location to pick up the second part of my son's prescription. Called beforehand while in parking lot to check hours and ask about how long it will take to fill. Whoever answered the phone was very rude. Told me that the prescription was not filled at their location , which was a lie because I filled the original prescription there. She then told me she can fill it there but it will take some time and they close at 9. I asked if she can fill it before they close she said yes. I drove and waited in drive thru for them to give me some other prescription. Thank god I look down and read the bag before leaving the parking lot. WORD OF ADVICE TRAIN YOUR DAMN PEOPLE! Not sure why this place has such negative reviews. Yes, they do charge a premium for their items but in a pinch they have everything you need if other stores are closed; magazines, alcohol, milk, candy, beauty products, batteries, cleaning supplies, etc. They also have a good and friendly pharmacy staff and it has a drive through. read more

After 9 years, apparently I need to find another pharmacy. I have had the worst time just recently with my prescriptions at this location, and really it is enough to leave. The guy I just spoke with, Minh Nhan, told me that it's because my physician has changed my medications and that is why they can no longer synch up the pick of my medications. Seriously, last month I picked up three at one time, this month I get to go three times. No one has time for that. And he said that there is nothing they can do. This is not helpful. read more

I just stopped in to grab some breading... price was "meh," but who really goes to CVS to buy breading? For reference, the place is kiddy corner to a 76 gas station and within close walking distance from the Sprinter/Civic Center station. They usually have pretty good deals in the fliers, but I didn't bother grabbing anything extra... I did notice that they're offering $10 gas cards if you buy $30 of cereal and other food/kitchen items. This CVS has a drive up pharmacy, which might be helpful for those not wanting or able to get out of their vehicle easily. I went at night, and the pharmacy was closed, so I wasn't really able to assess whether or not the pharmacist/technician were helpful (I usually test them with some random question, like, "Do you have any Plan B pills available?" or "What do you recommend for bloating/headaches?") As for the store, it wasn't pretty, but functional. They had what I needed, so they get 3 stars. What knocks the other two out is I didn't really feel... drawn? Usually, I like walking around and survey their goods, but the place just wasn't appealing. It actually felt a bit shady. The woman at the counter who rang me up didn't make me feel any more welcomed or comfortable. She kept staring at some marine who came in to buy cigarettes. If you're in need of something and you're in the area, the place is "okay," but barring any major sales, if you can hold off and go elsewhere, I would. I'll try this place again in the future & update if I feel the need. I'm pretty sure I'll be visiting this CVS again. read more

I went to the pharmacy for pick up. The lady that helped me yelled out the name of my medication and asked me if I had insurance "cuz it's $6,000 worth." I explained my situation and told her I have to call my doctor because It was supposedly covered but ended up leaving because of the demeanor of this lady.- I've never been so embarassed just picking up medication cuz she had to announce everything loudly to the public. Went to this cvs today to pick up Keppra for my dog whose been having seizures. The vet called me yesterday to tell me that the medication was called in to Vista S. Santa Fe. I arrive 24 hrs later to drive through window I give the girl my name, dob etc and tell her I'm here to pick up keppra. She insists that the medication isn't there and that I need to call the vet to have it called in. I call the vet back long hold etc. and sure enough it was called in. The issue was the girl at the window didn't know the generic name for keppra and sent me on my way. I shouldn't assume that someone working at a pharmacy window would be trained to check for both the generic and or brand name of same medication that is both written on the label. read more

This store is so bad. I was profiled wrongly by Jeff the Manager. He thought I was someone else. He kept following me around. A few months back I wrote a check. It came back with a tekecheck denied. The cashier gave me bacjk my check and she kept the merchandise. I come to find out that the check went through electronicallt. So I go back to the store. With a letter from my bank. And my statement and check. And Jeff wouldn't look at it. Ok so that store STOLE my money. I made a complaint to corporate with no resolution. Any suggestions out there read more

Well yesterday there was a little confusion but thanks to Rachel she took the time and effort to make sure I got squared away. I cannot stand the service at CVS. I miss Walgreens. I quit going to CVS years ago because of horrible wait times and rude, I MEAN RUDE pharmacy employees. Well I've become ill and have multiples prescriptions and they all come at different times so CVS is the closest for quick pick up. Ohhhh I made a huge mistake changing back to CVS. I was in line for 40 minutes today in the drive thru. I was trapped because there were cars behind me. I REALLY do not understand how it could possible take that long to hand someone a prescription. I had multiple texts fro CVS telling me my prescriptions were ready. I'll be changing back to Walgreens on University. I'd rather waste the gas going to a pleasant pharmacy that seems to care and also has streamlined processes in place. Plus they give my doggy a treat. FAIL CVS!!! read more
