I continually try to call the CVS pharmacy and I continually get either cut off or disconnected. The call initially goes through and then I get disconnected. Appears to be intentional. Large and well-maintained. The employees in the store and in the pharmacy are all very friendly. The drive through is easy and you're never left waiting. CVS has always been my go-to pharmacy regardless of the city I live in. There's a simple reason for that; consistency in product and customer treatment by employees Update for minute clinic only; signed up for an appointment at 11:56, cool. I get there and sign in and wait. Then the monitor says I'm not here... but that I have a 36 minute wait!!! The doctor is in there with three people. I have been vomiting phlegm because I have been coughing so hard, I haven't slept at all this week, I am exhausted and I'm yelled at by the doctor to either chill the f-down, or go to the emergency room. Excuse me? I'm a therapist and even when I have a client in crisis, I'll let the waiting client know it'll be a while or to reschedule. Talk about poor bedside manner. My Rx's were ready but w esophageal narrowing I figured I should call CVS to check if the pills are too big to swallow before me taking them home and getting one stuck in my throat. Again pointless to take medication/inventory from someone else who needs it just to trash it. Dial PHARMACY. Girl answers. Gave ME an attitude bc she didn't hear which script I'd already said the first time then obviously couldn't get me off the phone fast enough bc she said "I'm not measuring your pills lemme get a PHARMACIST on." Next Pharmacists got all hypersensitive bc I asked "wtf was her prob" when he answered then proceeds to deny me compounding services, claimed to be the manger, and told me to dissolve my pills in water. Not even kidding. Like I get it we all have bad days its not a coincidence tho when 2 people are rude. CVS must be in pretty dire straights financially right now. Tonight, they were willing to lose a longterm customer who had come in and purchased over $50 of merchandise over 3 cents. Having left my credit card at home, my only ways to pay were Google pay or cash. Google pay was not loading, so cash was my only remaining option. The problem here is that with the "coin shortage" the cashier would only accept exact change. My total came to $53.03 A more perceptive cashier no doubt would have considered that I was buying antibiotics and sympathy cards. Nick did not say anything to make it less awkward that Google pay was not working or that I could not find any pennies in my purse. No, the fact that I was saving them 6% by not using a credit card was immaterial. No, CVS simply could not afford to spot me 3 cents. Instead they rounded up and over charged me 97 cents. This was a good customer experience they thought because it "solved" the problem. I was mad as hell. I returned 10 minutes later with 3 pennies to demand my dollar back. They were quite perplexed, feeling entitled I suppose. On the rare occasion that I choose to support this store with my patronage again, I will remember this difficult position that they find themselves in and pay entirely in coins to help. read more

Pharm techs are extremely rude and unprofessional and sloppy. A ton of trust is put in these people who are giving us medicine that can be dangerous and if they are sloppy, stupid and rude, it's hard to trust them. I have had multiple issues simply picking up scripts and the issue has yet to be resolved and yet they continue to treat me like I'm annoying them for giving them my business. I will be making a complaint with the Bureau of Health Professions Licensure and WILL NOT be using them anymore and I highly recommend that no one else does either. This is a review of the minute clinic side. I'd just like to warn people before they waste their time with this clinic for their flu shot, just because I would have saved a lot of time and hassle had I read a review like this first. They advertise how "free" and easy it is for you to get vaccinated at CVS (tv ad even says to bring your kids, be "twinsies" with matching bandaids!). Long story short, they won't vaccinate kids for less than $50 if you use Masshealth. The clinician told us, "Masshealth requires children get the flu shot from their primary care physician's office, so unless you want to pay fifty dollars right now out of pocket..." read more

Slowest, most incompetent and disorganized pharmacy I've ever been to. Very rude employees as well, particularly the female pharmacist I encountered. I had called in a prescription about a month ago, went to pick it up an hour later than scheduled, and sat there for an hour waiting for it. While waiting I watched customer after customer come in and get turned away because theirs wasn't ready either. I watched many angry people give the girl behind the counter a piece of their mind, but it didn't phase them. At 8am on 12/9 I called my son's allergy prescription in for refill, requesting a 4pm pickup. My husband went at 5pm and was told "another 15-20 minutes", so I went at 5:30 and I was told the same thing. I went back at 7pm, still not ready. So, my husband went back at 5pm the next day. They handed him a CVS brand kids claritin they had pulled off the shelf and slapped a label on. This was not the prescription that we have been receiving for him for two years, and it took them what, 30 seconds?? I'm willing to drive to the next town to avoid this place. read more

Standard issue CVS. The pharmacy can be a mess and I've yet to see one person working there that is competent and quick. They always have this older gentleman working checkout at the pharmacy, which is fine, except he's extremely slow which means the line piles up quickly. Others I've dealt with at the pharmacy (not sure if they were actual pharmacists or what) were just rude. They only reason we go there for our prescriptions is that it's so close. We can literally see the building from our house. Other than that, all the usually CVS ware is here. The only shining light in this place is an older, heavy guy who works checkout, usually at night. Not once have I had a pleasant experience picking up my medication at this C.V.S. Location. I am constantly getting incorrect information regarding everything from insurance to medication to wait times. Today was the last straw for me. I called the day before and asked if I had refills left because I misplaced the rest of my script. The young lady told me she would contact my Dr. And he would need to okay it. I waited until the next morning at 9a.m. And finally called him myself. My Dr. Stated he never received a call or fax but that he would send over my script. The script went in at 11:30a.m. After work I went to the C.V.S. And was told it was not even close to being ready yet. They promised me it would be ready in fifteen minutes. One half hour later they were still running around trying to get all of the scripts ready that where backed up. When I attempted to complain I was met by a very rude arrogant associate by the name of Brent (he refused to give me his last name) I started off calm and ended up even more frustrated as he aggravated the situation with his smug attitude. He told me that if I had a problem I should call corporate because it is cooperates fault that they are understaffed. While I was there I watched an elderly man sit on the bench waiting for almost an hour and when he went to go get his wife's meds he was told he needed her health ins. Card. He said, "no one told me that an hour ago." She just smiled and said,"oh, I'm sorry someone should have told you that." So the man had to leave and go home to get his wife's card after having waited an hour. What the f@$k is up with this place! I'm done with it for good. Don't use this CVS. They have given me other people's subscriptions, they are extremely slow filling prescriptions, and communications between them and my primary physician is unreliable. I have recently started calling all my prescriptions into my physician so as to ensure they are actually filled. In addition, their turnover of employees is quite high, so I never can even recognize the staff, even every other week. I'd mention their web service is also slow as molasses and every now and then it claims I don't have ANY prescriptions; hard to believe as I've had nine or so per month for the last decade. But forget I said that as my last review was rejected for mentioning it. Overall, both the store and their web service rate one star or less. read more

The 1st time the prescriptions incorrect I'll accept that the transferring pharmacy was at fault but when I confirm that the Dr sent over a new prescription then call & verify with the pharmacy that they have the right one and will fill it within a few hours & then give an additional day only to spend another 40 minutes round trip and leave empty handed because they are waiting to hear from my doctor?!! 3 days without meds because these guys couldn't get a prescription right. I'll be taking my business to Hannaford or WalMart from now on. At least the Milford store would've had the courtesy to call or message. read more

I am done using this place as a pharmacy. What to say? Other reviews have suggested that this place has incompetent and slow staff. I really don't think that is the problem. I think this location just has Too Many Customers, and the corporate office should just start redirecting business to Whitinsville or Blackstone, or (heresy I know) advise would-be customers that CVS already has as much business as it can handle and you should go somewhere else. I know the CVS system -can- work well, because I never had this kind of trouble at the CVS on Central Street in Foxboro before I moved out here. CVS has a wonderful, sophisticated online and phone-based system where you can schedule a prescription for renewal, and request a pick up time (at least 2 hours later). The whole point of this is so you won't have to wait when you get to the store, right? Fuhgeddaboutit. I have submitted a refill request early in the morning, for pickup at about 3 or 4 PM. Nope, not ready when I got there. If you tell them you're waiting, they'll try to bump it in the queue but I've still seen it take 45 minutes for prescriptions to get done. If you tell them you're going to leave and come back later, you have chosen poorly, because your prescription goes right back to the bottom of the priority list and it -still- won't be ready when you come back. As an experiment once, I submitted a renewal request online and decided I wouldn't even bother going to the store that day. I'd wait for the phone message telling me the order was filled. By the end of the business day: no call. By the end of the next day: no call. Early morning of the 3rd day the refill was ready. I'm convinced this location simply ignores online and phone requests until either A) you show up and get told to wait or B) a day or two has passed. I have been with friends in the drive-through, when they were told the prescription would be ready in 15 minutes, so my friend said, all right, I'll come back later. She drove back an hour later and it wasn't done. This has happened to her more than once. OK, I guess I have to admit when the staff keeps lying or simply underestimating how long it will take for a prescription to be filled, that IS incompetence. I have been in line with 3 or 4 people in front of me, and have overheard every single person in front of me told "Sorry, it's not done yet, would you like to wait?" or "It's in process". I love that last one. "In Process" is code for "We're completely overloaded up to our eyeballs and we haven't even looked at it yet". Other things that make no sense with the setup CVS has devised: At the pickup registers, the system is limited and if there's any kind of problem with your insurance or prescription, they can't help you there. They have to send you over to the "drop off" line to resolve the problem. I have seen people wait in a long line for pickup, get sent over to the drop off spot to fix a problem, and then get told to go back in line again at pickup to actually get their prescription. Why can't the computers at the pickup line handle everything? The pickup area has three registers. Usually only one is open. I have never seen all three open at the same time, even with long lines of people waiting. Refill reminders: I don't want them, I didn't ask for them. No idea how to turn them off. Ready refill: I have had prescriptions refilled automatically when I never asked for that either. I have had refills sent by my doctor to the store go ignored. They're in the system, but CVS didn't bother to actually fill them. Did CVS think my doctor sent the prescription over just for giggles? There is a basic thing I think CVS could do to fix much of this trouble. Their online and phone systems should have feedback on the actual state of the pharmacy. If there's no way the store can get a prescription ready in two hours, the online system should not LET you schedule a two hour pickup. It should tell you what the minimum wait time will actually be, and require you to select an achievable pick up time. If the store is so backlogged it won't refill your prescription same-day, the system should tell you that and offer to redirect you to another CVS location. And perhaps, for the next month or so, this CVS should not accept new prescriptions at all. PS: The 'old guy' is not slow. He's friendly and hard working and can ring you up as fast as anybody else there. This store just has a completely broken and dysfunctional system. read more

Highly disappointing experience, customer service at front desk and photo was horrendous. Bad quality photos, extremely long wait time, lack of experienced staff, no one aware of how to refill paper in the printer. All the while acting as if it was an inconvenience to assist me, way too busy buying themselves energy drinks and disappearing to the back of the store after attempting to fix the issue but not even bothering to wait around to see if anything printed. Absolutely one of the best pharmacy's I have ever used. I was afraid when I moved to town and saw all of the complaints, but honestly every time I have been in the pharmacy, all of the staff and customers seem to be having a great time. I especially like the gentlemen with the beard. He is always smiling and making jokes with many of the customers and a lot of them appear to always want him to help them. Entire store reeks of marijuana stench, don't go there if you have kids or asthma. More than half the time I went there for something it was stolen out of the box and they just left empty packaging, whichever stoner they've got doing merchandising is too high and lazy to notice the last box is empty so they never restock products. read more

This review is just for the pharmacy, the store itself is great. My wife and I have lived in Uxbridge for about 3 years and we have rarely had a decent experience with this pharmacy. It seems like they always have a backlog and rarely have prescriptions ready when promised. On more than one occasion, I had a situation where my doctor faxed in a request, but the pharmacy claimed they never received it. I have been using the same doctor for years and never had this happen with the previous CVS I used, so I tend to side with my doctor on this. Anyway, Uxbridge either needs a second CVS pharmacy or they need to get someone in this one who can get things organized. read more

I"M SITTING AT THE DRIVEUP WINDOW HONEY!!!!) so after sitting for 20 mins waiting for her to tell me what's up i finally honk the horn to get some attention. she kept saying 'a few more minutes' yet the package was in her hand! meanwhile she tells me my card is not valid and she can't get approval. this is a new 2016 insurance card...duh. been going her since they opened and each trip is a bigger disaster. i asked when someone was going to come to the window and tell me??? totally blank look. they just don't give a crap about customer service. not a great way to deal with people, let alone people who are picking up medical supplies because they are sick. and they actually go to school for this????? i also had a message on my machine saying my medication was now ready for pickup! so i called and confirmed that it actually was ready and the insurance is valid (no shit) . then i asked to speak to the head pharmacist and voiced my complaints. she apologized and said she'd speak to the person (yet she had no way of identifying who it was!!!). very small consolation because you know it happens every day, time and time again. time to find a new pharmacy that gives a rat's ass. read more
