***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** Where to begin, went immediately to CVS Pharmacy following a minor surgery to start the process of getting my prescription filled. Was told I'd have to wait 2-3 hours so that they could verify the prescription was valid/authentic and they would call me when it was filled and ready to be picked up. 4 hours later and no call. I ended up calling them and found out it was ready to be picked up. Went to pick it up, provided my worker's comp pharmacy card, and was then told that i couldn't receive my prescription because they didn't have the authorization to fill the prescription even though they had it in hand. They told me I'd have to wait 1-2 days before it could get approved and showed me the door. Cut to me in the parking lot. I call my worker's comp provider and inform them of the above. They explained to me what CVS Pharmacy was doing to me wasn't right and that they would call them immediately to get things squared away. My WC provider then spent the next 15 minutes on hold with CVS not once getting an answer. I let my provider know i was still at the pharmacy and could give my phone to the pharmacy techs so that she could speak with them. My provider spoke with the tech and informed them they were possibly billing wrong and was able to correct CVS mistake for them. After that, the Female Assyrian Pharmacy Tech did not appear pleased with me and proceeded to give me attitude and instructed me to have a seat while they filled my prescription. After another 10-15 minutes, my prescription was finally filled and i was on my way. TOTAL TIME SPENT TRY TO FILL 1 PRESCRIPTION: 1.5 Hours. Do NOT recommend CVS Pharmacy. 0/5 STARS read more

Slow serving customers at the counters. Slow in the drive thru lanes. I was on hold 28 minutes waiting for pharmacy staff to answer. The reason? I purchased a digital thermometer at this store yesterday. When I got it home, I discovered that it did not work. I returned to the store, receipt and item in hand only to be told that they would neither refund or exchange to to the pandemic, so I am out the $25 I spent on this non functional device. The store offer no recourse except to keep it and the receipt until the pandemic was over. It seems to me, that when a product is displayed and offered for sale that there is an implied warrant ability that it functions as designed. I am very dissatisfied. This is a large format CVS but absolutely struggles to provide a service that should be acceptable. We have used and I might add with much satisfaction CVS as our primary pharmacy for years. The CVS pharmacy on Geer and specifically the Pharmacists are a group of abysmal, sub par, careless team of D level performers. I waited for 30 minutes to have my prescriptions reviewed. The tech was so embarrassed that she continued to apologize for what she referred to as being "not our normal Pharmacist." Further she informed she was going to report this poor service to "our management" when I demanded my prescriptions be returned to me in frustration. She knew from our records the consistency and volume we had done with CVS. Save yourself time and frustration and not use this group. read more

Worse pharmacy in the world! Staff is rude and inconsiderate. You receive email that RX is ready and you go to pick it up and still have to wait 2 hours! They can't get billing right, month after month I have to call them to fix it and low and behold they screw it up next month again. READ ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS BEFORE GOING HERE!!!! This is probably the WORST pharmacy/store to ever go to! All staff was uneducated, unhelpful, and most rude! If I could give negative 50 stars I would. Never in my life have I dealt with such disrespect, lack of customer service, and rudeness by staff. I had called a month prior to switch over to this pharmacy and had a 45min conversation with the female pharmacist who reassured me several times they would be able to be prompt and fill our prescriptions on time. Fast forward a month later to finally making the switch and the very first prescription the pharmacist decided she "didn't feel comfortable" filling because the doctor was from a different city. Yes, it's a certified virtual doctor and news flash, people go to doctors in other cities than the one they live in ALL. THE. TIME. Since when is that criteria to rescues to fill a prescription a doctor has now sent you twice. And you can clearly see the history of when and where the prescription has been filled and it's always only been filled once a month and nothing out of the norm. This store has to be the absolute WORST on the planet. EVERY damn month, I am in a battle to get my morphine filled, and every month the battle gets longer and lamer. On May 15, 2015 I dropped off my script for morphine...was told that insurance will approve it on May 20, 2015. I knew this and agreed. I arrive May 20, 2015 and informed, not done. Said I would return the next day. May 21, 2015, informed that it is not done but can have it in an hour, okay, I can do that. Had an emergency didn't make it back that same day. May 22, 2015 and was informed that I have no script for morphine, I showed them proof, via my phone, (I ALWAYS take a pic of my scripts) then I am informed they LOST my script and that they can't fill it until they find it. By now I am out of morphine at home and starting to feel withdrawls...not a good thing. After an hour of them searching, they found my scripts and the scripts for 6 other people who have been waiting. Then I am informed that they do NOT have morphine in stock and can not order it until Tuesday, May 26, 2015 and my script will be filled on Thursday, May 28, 2015. So now 6 days pass, I have been out of morphine for 9 days...My pain is through the roof and the withdrawls were pure TORTURE and hell!! Call Thursday, May 28, 2015 and informed that the script has not been filled yet, give them an hour. Medical emergency came in to play, and could not pick up the script on Thursday, May 28, 2015. I go in on Friday, May 29, 2015 to pick up my script...that was originally promised on May 20, 2015 and guess what....NOT FILLED! After I literally screamed at them from my wheelchair one girl jumped, but the head pharmacist, an Asian male (don't know his name) made it his mission to make this a game, in me obtaining my morphine, It was Friday, May 29, 2015 at 3:00 pm before I received my script of morphine.nine and a half days after I was originally promised. This entire corporation is completely useless. I have filed claims all the way up the corporate ladder and anywhere else I can. Wow. Just wow. Now I know after reading all the other reviews they have a reputation for having horrible customer service. Worst, and rudest service ever. They told me over the phone, after waiting on hold for 30 min. and accidentally being hung up on once, that "I always go to Walgreens, and that I need to stay going there" then hung up on me and I didn't even get a chance to respond. The most inept pharmacy I've been to by far. They're always understaffed, their wait times are abysmal and they consistently lie about pickup times. I was told my prescription would be ready by 9 pm last night. It's now 1:26 PM on the next day and my prescription still isn't ready. I also received a text from the automated system telling me my prescription was ready this morning. How is it that the system can say it's ready, yet the technician says it's not? This isn't a one time occurrence. It happens every single time I need to pick up a prescription. They either need to stop taking new patients or hire more employees. I'll be changing all of my prescriptions over to Rite Aid. They are much, much better. Save yourself time and a headache and go elsewhere for your pharmacy needs. read more

Probably one of the most inept drug stores I've been at. Every transaction takes way way longer than expected , and the pharmacy department is either severely understaffed, or inefficient to Soviet regime, Cold War proportions . They'll text you to know that your prescription is ready, but that just means that it'll take another 30 minutes when you arrive at the counter (after you've waited in line to let the pharmacist know that your prescription is ready) . I like the store, but the pharmacy is ridiculous. It takes 3-4 visits to pick up a simple prescription. (super long lines, meds not ready after 2 days, system down, meds still not ready, insurance info not right) and each visit means waiting in line again, sometimes up to 30 min. If I were in heart failure, I'd be dead by now. The staff are nice enough but I agree that they have too many orders to fill. Seems chaotic. Save your time. Don't add to the congestion. Avoid this pharmacy like the plague. I'm lucky to be pretty healthy. I feel sorry for the sick and elderly patients getting the run around here. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. I have been going to this pharmacy for the past year and a half and have had a problem picking up my prescriptions almost every single time. The prescriptions are NEVER filled on the day they say they will be. The pharmacy has messed up my personal information so that I can't pick up my prescriptions or even get them filled. Horrible customer service, at least for the pharmacy. It's like these people didn't realize they'd be working with actual customers. Usually very pissy looks when they "greet" you, like you're an inconvenience, always short-staffed, and they never put prescriptions in the correct place. I just got home after waiting at the counter for over 15 minutes while this dude circled every possible place for our medications, only to have someone else find them for him. Then in the middle of "helping" me, he hops on a different register and starts feeling someone else. Never said there was an issue with my medications. I had a "wtf" look and then he finally says, "I'll be right with you..." All the while other pharmacy people are walking by without a care in the world. Let me start by saying the actual Store part of CVS is great, always friendly and great customer service. Now, the pharmacy is a Whole different story. I have not gone to get my prescription Once without there being an issue. I have Very simple, common medications and they somehow make a mistake or don't have it ready. I have my prescriptions on auto-fill so they're ready for me. Never the case, they are never ready for me and they tell me the same excuse every time. "Oh, its in the process of being filled and will be done in 15mins" Just be honest and say "We haven't even gotten to it, we have no idea what we're doing and you would be better off at a different pharmacy" Which is Exactly what I did. read more

Should've listened to the other Yelp customers. This is by far the worst pharmacy I've been to. They said it would take 1.5-2 hours to fill my prescription and I went ahead and gave them 3.5 hours. I still ended up spending 45 minutes in the pharmacy. One of the tech was trying to be helpful and I appreciate that, but this will be the last time I step into that store. Worst pharmacy ever! I've had so many bad experiences here and with the 1-2 I've had for myself I've told myself I will never ever go back. They have the rudest, most unprofessional employees. Unfortunately, due to my mom's new insurance, she can only use cvs pharmacy, ugh! I know what a shame! We went there today & couldn't get medications filled within 8 hours, at 10 am we went to go pick up her pain medication as she had surgery today and they ordered it in case she had pain when she got home. Josie whoever she is and whatever she does, is very unprofessional. She told us to come back at 6pm and it couldn't be filled any sooner as they were backed up for 3 days? Whatever that means and how it relates to us and her meds? Doesn't matter to us how behind they are, they need to get more help if that's the case, not our problem! My mom started to have pain at 12pm but of course we had to wait until 6pm to pick it up. Well the lovely Josie did not relay the message to have the medication filled by 6pm. The pharmacist who was coming on or techs should have been more alert of current orders etc., but anyhow, we show up around 6:15pm and of course it's not ready, so victor tells us they are backed up and he wasn't notified to fill it by a certain time etc etc etc, and we're now he's telling us we have to wait until maybe 9pm, IF he can even get it ready today! Are you serious? After being immediately post op and having pain to having to wait longer than 8 hours? I'm an RN, as well as my mom; therefore we know pain is most important! Luckily my mom has a high pain tolerance, rarely takes pain meds, but after surgery it's best to have at hand, especially at night. After asking Victor several times when it could get filled so we knew if we should wait around, he kept saying he didn't know. How awkward?! Ten mins later, once we had gotten home, he called and told us it's ready! Are you kidding me? This is insane, how can you put someone who just had surgery and needs to rest through that? Have them come to the pharmacy three times in one day? He could have just told us to wait and he can get it ready now? What a mess and what an unprofessional business. With the reviews as noted, and average reviews as 1.5 Stars, doesn't appear that the management is intervening to fix this at all. That's extremely poor management!! read more

First, I had no choice but to give 1 star, Yelp doesn't allow negatives. My father uses this pharmacy and always told me he always has to wait an hour to pick up a prescription, today I found out first hand. I had to pick up another item there and asked the pharmacy if my mother's prescription was ready, they told me no but they could have it ready in a couple of minutes. I sat down to wait. I dozed off in the waiting area and 20 minutes later asked again how much longer and was told it just needs to be verified....another 15 minutes later, frustrated, I asked where my prescription was. It was ready but they didn't bother to tell me. Talked to a manager and was told sorry it's usually not this bad. Ha! My dad told me and I just looked over the Yelp reviews and right..... i honestly thought,"there is no way that these reviews are accurate, 23 reviews and only one star?" as i sit here on the couch, six hours after my surgery, wish there were on option for zero starts. My wife and i took the prescription to CVS and were told that it would be an hour before it was filled. An hour and a half later, my wife drives down to pick it up, and after 45 minutes in line, she is told that it would be 4-5 hours before it could be picked up, but they COULD NOT guarantee it. i am in need of my prescription pain relievers, since i was just under the knife. this is the absolute worst place to go for prescriptions. i really cant believe it says "pharmacy" on the wall outside. So they claim to be a 24 hour store but they are not. Sign on front door says out to lunch be back later but that our pharmacy drive thru is open. Go to drive thru pharmacy and they are out to lunch. The pharmacist deicdes to help but then says insurance claim problem for meds that I have refilled multiple times here with same insurance. Order was not ready 90 mins after promissed ready and attitude of pharmacist was not great. Said as professional she has to have two lunch breaks - I told her that I wish that I had that problem. She also claimed ER was busy and that made her busy. I have had nothing but problems with this CVS pharmacy. Miss the days of the local pharmacist. Come here only if you do not want To get well. I sat in the pharmacy 2.5 hrs with strep. I saw people Come and go and the story was the same. Your prescription is not ready and we don't have it in stock. Several of these people had called in 2 days before coming to pick it up. In fact one person even called before coming to pick her prescription up. She was told it was ready and when she got there was told "we don't have it so what do you want me to do". Part of my dismay was the 15 minutes the cashier telling a regular customer her hours had been cut along with her sister who works there also. CVS I hope you can do better. Dr. sends my 1 Rx to CVS at 10:30am. I drive thru at 5:00pm and am told it's not ready yet. It will be another 15-20 minutes if they expedite it. I say expedite it and I'll run a few errands and be back shortly. 2 hours later I drive through again and am told it will likely not be ready until the following evening. I pull into the drive through 24 hours later... Now I'm told they are out of this medication. Try back tomorrow. I put my foot down and told them no, this is my 3rd trip here. Give me another option. They said they could transfer it to another CVS but I would need to come inside. I replied absolutely not I want to talk to a Manager. After 5 minutes of waiting for a Manager, the clerk comes back on the speaker and announces they just got an order of the medication in at that moment (ya right) and they will have it ready for me in 5 minutes. THIS IS A BROKEN SYSTEM. During the time I sat here I watched 3 other cars be sent away because their prescriptions weren't ready. I'm having my dr send my prescription to Raleys from now on!!!!! This is the worst pharmacy. Wait times (drive-thru and in store) are ridiculous. I have waited over an hour in drive-thru. On several occasions I have been told they are out of stock on medication so it can not be filled at this time. I had to wait 2 weeks to get pain medication filled. Just called today to get my refill of pain medication and once again they are out of stock. I have chronic pancreatitis and need the pain medication. Without this medication I will end up in the hospital. They have had the prescription for about a week and a half so they knew they needed to have it on hand to fill the prescription. I have seen people in line in store walk out because of wait times. Also seen it happen in drive-thru. When the staff goes to locate your medications it looks as if they are on an Easter egg hunt. They dont know where to look for your medication. I feel they need to get rid of current staff.. Get new sraff in and train properly. I hope other CVS stores operate differently. I will be finding a new pharmacy for all of my medications! read more

CVS. Wow. My husband and I are extremely frustrated with the lack of service at this CVS. After over a year of always waiting above and beyond what we are told we've realized that they are NOT staffed well enough to handle the amount of customers they have. A question I have is how in all good conscience they accept new customers knowing full well they can't give them the customer service they deserve. I have waited in long lines (at least 5 cars in both drive thrus) many times only to be told my RX is not ready after having called in to check on an already 72 hour order and waiting well over the additional hour they told me to wait. The refill policy is another joke. My husband, having heart disease, has several medications that cannot have a lapse period. There are a few that are ordered ASAP that are not produced ASAP. Grandma's medication was always a 30 day supply and on automatic refill. For some reason the last time they made it 90 and never gave it to her. No matter how many times I insisted they never gave it to me, apparently the customer lies here. So now my grandma had to pay full price without the insurance help for the very important medication because of the mistake of the pharmacy. This isn't the first time this has happened, and they have given us wrong medication too that we've brought back. Seriously, get your stuff together. We're switching to a different pharmacy! read more
