The Filipino lady that works in the pharmacy at CVS on 11th St should NOT be working with the public!!! I always have issues getting my prescriptions filled and she won't make sure that my insurance is properly entered. I never pay more than $5 for a prescription. She over charged me by $70 last time! She is always very rude and mean. She gets sarcastic! She needs to treat each and every person with kindness and compassion especially in healthcare. Every customer in their line are either sick or picking up for a patient.. The last thing, anyone needs is to be harassed!! She needs to find another job that don't involve the public!! I've been using their pharmacy since Nov. 2015 and it's always been a hit or miss for me. I've been getting my prenatals once a month from this place and have downloaded the app so that it will automatically request for a refill for one of my prescription. For the other, it's always on back order. As soon as I get the notice that's I can request it I do it right but sometimes their stock won't come in till a week later for me to pick it up. Or I will wait in line and by the time it's my turn, I'll wait another 30mins because they haven't filed all their prescriptions yet so they'll dig thru everything while restocking the shelfs. Just a little annoying when you just want to get your stuff and go. read more

Definitely transferring my Prescriptions from this CVS. I called in a refill for my medication, on Wednesday, go to pick it up on Friday. Counter personnel tell me, "we have a prescription for you," but its not the one I called in?! Then they also tell me that the prescription that I called in on Wednesday never was received (mind you this is the 2nd time this has happened within 2 months), so its not even ready to pick up. Counter personnel tells me they will fill the prescription if I wait. I tell them I will be back, because I have other errands to run. I come back, stand in line for about 12 minutes, I get to the counter, & ask for my medication, the counterperson 1st tells me its not ready, then She tell me that they don't have the medication on hand to fill the order. This farmacy is a joke. They make you feel like an idiot, they can be rude including the farmacist ive seen her argue with customers. Bottom line customer service is at the bottom of their priorities. When taking in new prescrition the lady behind couter must have been a refrigerator in a past life, she is cold as hell she wont even look at you she is very short and snappy with the conversation. Any how im a very calm person but ive had it. Now im told that my prescription was deactivated by my Dr. and i cant get its a holliday weekend and i cant get my high blood preasure medication, I've never heard of a Dr. Deactivating a medication prescription. Now i have to go to the emergency room to try to get a medication that i need to take every day. Aweful service by the tall male pharmacist. Someone ( I believe it was this pharmacist, as no one else is qualified to make a decision like this) made the decision to refuse to fill a prescription for my husband because we had just picked up a prescription of a similar type of medicine but not as strong, the day before. All the prescriptions were prescribed by the same orthopedic surgeon. Apparently the pharmacist thinks he knows more or better than the prescribing surgeon. Then when I explained the situation, they said it would be ready in one hour. This was after waiting all day. Then after patiently waiting the hour, I came in to pick it up but they said it would be 30 more minutes. They absolutely refused to explain why they refused to fill it in the first place or tell me who actually made the decision. This pharmacist was a total jerk and was extremely rude when I tried to understand the reasoning behind why the refusal decision was made and then quickly reversed.. I questioned them if they, as required by law, checked CURES for his narcotic use history. They claim they did. I guess whenever a pain medication is prescribed, they assume you are a junky and treat you as if you are drug seeking despite your actual, documented history. read more

This place is horrible. I brought my Father-in-law to have his photo taken. He has parkinson's and is on wheel chair. So the girl have him wait and take and then got his photo taken and have him wait again just to tell him that their machine is broken. Well done CVS. if there was an ZERO score that what i would give this pharmacy! the corporate pharmacy office should investigate how this store's customer rating coincides with the service the pharmacist and staff treat patients here! i literally had post op medication i needed for pain. drove from washington hospital- fremont, ca to my home in tracy! walked in with a prescription for narco. both the clerk and pharmacist looked at me and said they would need to call my doctors office the next day! i kindly explained to them that my doctors office was still open being 4:30 and that i had just had surgery and if possible they could fill out my prescription because i was in extreme pain. both employees looked at me and said it would be filled tomorrow! regardless...of my plea! zero customer service, zero compassion! do not come to this pharmacy for any medical prescription needs! read more

Pharmacy staff is very rude, I've been coming here for over a year now and not once have they been pleasant. Anytime I drop off a prescription they give me the run around and never tell me when it's ready and if it's on hold they never fill it by the date it needs to be filled. When I go pick up my medication they tell me it's not ready ?! When they told be it would be ready by that day and I even had another family member check on it the day before and same thing was told to them.. that it would be ready the next day...always wasting my time. some better customer service and better communication would help this pharmacy ALOT ! Incompetence at best. Total of 2.5 hours wasted waiting on one prescription with no one ahead of me. The most annoying part was being sent from one window to the next several times before the could figure out what to charge me. I should mention I called ahead this time to see if the prescription was ready and was told it was. If I needed to drive 20 miles to find another pharmacy, I would not hesitate. Ok, So I ve been inside this Establishment a few X's, and I tell ya it gets no better really. It always seems understaffed, and the lines can be long depending on T.O.D. Anyhoo, I still frequent this place because of the awesome deals I get with my Extra Care card, and coupons. (Yes I can be a Extreme Coupon-er if the time is right) but yesterday was the worse service by far. First of all It wasn't just me who received bad service. The clerk was ringing up the customer before me, and I kinda noticed she was slamming her items around. I just kinda bypassed it since it wasn't me she was doing it too.Then it came my turn, and i had nail polishes two different kinds of the same color ...but no price wasnt on them so i needed to have her price check. She Snatched them from me ....Ok First Let me say one thing ....IM BLACK! The last thing you want to do is snatch anything from a black girl. But being the Respectable person I am ... (Plus My kids was with me) I let it slide. Anyone who knows me knows that I usually don't let that slide. but I ve grown ALOT so It kinda takes a Load to take me out of character these days. Plus I Dont really like Showing out in front of others lol. How would that look? So I just gave her a dropped jaw look , then she proceeded to tell me the price. Just an irritating review with a better ending... I frequent this retail store often, typically running in on a lunch break or after work for make-up, medicine, feminine items... whatever the day may call for. I ran in to grab some mascara because mine was out. And, trust me... you DON'T want to see me with no make-up or mascara on... I look like my ugly twin sister. (okay, I don't have a sister, that was my poor attempt at humor)... Anyway, I race to the only line open and, of course, there was a lady being help with a CARTFUL of shit! (well, not real shit.... but everything from food items to laundry baskets to bug spray... one of THOSE shoppers!) So, I'm thinking, "Crap, I really gotta get back to work!" There was a gentleman in front of me with one item and he was patiently waiting. As I stood there, the cashier, Renee, couldn't find a price on one of the items so she called her gopher boy over to do a price check run. Then, the next item wasn't scanning.... UGH! I walked over quickly to the photo center to see if anyone was working there so I can get my measley beauty aid rung up and paid for. No one there (my luck). I went back over to the line and the gentleman sort of chuckled like, "We're gonna be standin' here a while." A few minutes went by and I finally asked the cashier if there were any other registers open. She looked right at me, looked at the line of registers down the row, looked up at her register light with the #1 on it, then looked back at me and said, "No." What a bitch, right? So, I said, "Is there someone available in photo who can ring us up?" Again... she said, "No." I asked, "Well, can you call someone please?" She shook her head back and forth, snickered sarcastically, picked up the phone and looked directly at me while calling for assistance. I stared straight at her. You could almost hear the music right before a gunfight (whistling)... I said, "Thank you, I know that was hard for you." I walked over to the photo center, got rang up, and she still wasn't done with the shit-cart lady. I never call a store manager to complain about someone, but Miss Cashier just irritated me with her attitude, never mind the fact that she didn't have the wherewithall or common decency to call for assistance to take care of other customers when she knew she was going to take some time with her current one. After speaking to the store manager who heard me out, she was extremely nice. She didn't make excuses and said that she would handle the situation because all of their customers should walk out feeling satisfied and want to come back. This was good customer service, even if she was bullshitting me. All customers want to feel acknowledged and helped. Maybe Miss Cashier will learn a little something about being aware of her surroundings and not making customers feel as if calling for help is putting her out. read more

I stopped for a new prescription at 7:45pm after all the other pharmacists in town had gone home for the evening. Fortunately for me, Pharmacist 'Heather' was on duty. I am a senior citizen who doesn't hear well, so she took her time with me. The meds I required were pretty expensive, but Heather suggested that I take the lower dose capsules available in that medication because it would save me quite a bit of money. Wow!! It saved me more than $40. While I was waiting for the prescription to be filled, I had an opportunity to talk to other employees; they were all cheerful and helpful. I have come to find that people in Tracy are much friendlier than the cities by the bay, and so are the people in the stores who assist us in our needs. The friendly, helpful folks at this store give Tracy a good name, and is a great reflection on their company. read more

i love CVS in general! they have all the general items around the house i need for a lower price. what is even greater is that i group things together in order to get coupons, then use the coupons to get more discounts on the rest of the items im going to purchase. great store, always great service! also, the pharmacy does their job quickly too! if you get your meds here, you usually get a coupon of $5 off anything in the store. so while im waiting for my meds, if i need anything, like shampoo, snacks, etc, i usually get it for free since i get that coupon. love this store! read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! I went online to check the price for a camera and was quoted 11.29, when I went in I was told it was 14.29. When I told the cashier she called up a "manager" named Derrick. Seriously RUDE. You could tell he didn't care what I had to say. I would have gotten better customer service talking to a wall. I tried to tell him, I went online, put their address in, asked pricing for a disposable camera. He wouldn't even look at the online page. He said I should know that is only good online, it was implied because I was online. That just because it didn't say it was only good online , everyone knows pricing is for online purchases only. If I didn't like it buy online. I couldn't buy online because my sone leaves for outdoor school tomorrow morning and it wouldn't get here on time. He sneered at me and said, then I guess you are paying the 14.29 then." I will take my pharmacy purchases else where as well. Why CVS deleted my Jan. 2nd posted????? Reposted and screenshotted both here!!! One Star due to the on-duty manager on Dec. 26th, 2018 as she partially helped me resolve problem. CVS gave the wrong pills but put them into the correct medication bottle. They gave us medication for allergies instead of medicine for high-blood pressure. My mom ate the medicine for seven days until her blood pressure went up to 160 and we went to the store for them to tell us that they gave the wrong pills to us. They told us there were side effects due to the absence of blood-pressure regulation medication. She told us she has sent a message to district manager, however, no response from CVS pharmacy. read more

I wish I could give this pharmacy zero stars. Not only are they always extremely busy with long lines, their staff is so rude and won't do anything extra to help you even if it is their error. Every single time I've gone here there's been some type of delay whether it be them not entering my insurance correctly or the person helping me doesn't know what their doing. Oh, and last time I was here I got the text notification that my medication was ready for pick up which when I got there they had no idea what I was talking about. This is the worst pharmacy with the exception of Noli. If she isn't there when you go forget it! No one else knows anything. It's like she is the only one that can get anything done. Sonething different this time. I'm sitting here right now because I needed to fill a script for my son. I need it tonight so told the lady (I've never seen her before) I needed to wait for it. She says rudely well this type of prescription will take an hour and a half to fill. What? I've waited for this medication before and it never has taken an hour and a half. I almost couldn't believe her so I said ok I'll wait. Well, 50 minutes in and I'm still waiting ... and they aren't even busy like they usually are. If you value your time and prefer to be treated with respect and kindness, find a different pharmacy! I hate coming here. Unfortunately, my son takes many meds so I'm here every month enduring this frustration a couple times a month. Stay away. You'll thank me later! read more

Extremely horrific experience today evening at the CVS store. Placed the photo print for 3 prints online for same day, at this store, Order # 1400002320748. Got email with 6:34 PM as estimated time to pick up the order. Went to store around 6:40 pm, and store associate Mary could not find the order in their system with number or name. I told them I would come after 9 pm to give them enough time to print an order that was estimated to be done at 6:34 pm, (store closes at 10 pm). Reached there around 9:15 pm and Mary had no clue why it did not print and she could not print it. Told me that it was responsibility of CVS, rather Kodak. I printed the photos using my USB stick in their instant kiosk [receipt K4828-5166] and asked to give me the same price as the order placed. Mary and the store Manager Charlene Adams refused to do that and also kept the instant prints and did not let me pay for it and take it. I told them it was urgently needed next morning at 8 am and still they did not give me the prints. I went to Walgreens across the street and was in and out with prints in 3 mins or so [order #990561307]. What a horrible experience at CVS! It seems the employees are not trained on how to handled customers. The CVS corporate should review the security tapes and train the staff before they loose their customers to Walgreens across the road on 11th Street. read more

I've been getting my prescriptions here for a while, and never had an issue. Today I tried to use a gift card on a mobile device, and the African American manager with tattoo sleeves (sorry I didn't catch her name) told me that she can't accept the gift card because she "couldn't manually punch it in." I've been using mobile gift cards with CVS for years, never had an issue - yet today this woman, who couldn't be bothered to walk the 15 steps from behind the counter she was standing at to actually look at the gift card, simply told me flat out they wouldn't accept a CVS gift card. When I politely said thank you, I'll take my business to the other store - she made sure to call before I could get there and tell them not to accept my gift card. She cited some nonsense about loss prevention, however it's kind of hard to fake a gift card - especially when the system checks the balance available on said gift card. Luckily the other store was actually willing to do their job and accepted the card without any issues. I'll be avoiding this CVS like the plague and transfer my prescription pick up to the other store as well, as I'm not going to waste my time with a location who's management not only refuses to provide customer service, but who goes out of their way to ensure a negative customer experience at other locations as well. read more

This pharmacy is a joke! I have never once picked up a prescription without an issue or being sent back and forth to a counter. Once they forgot to mix my sons meds drove all the way home and noticed and had to drive back to get it mixed. This medicine could have killed him without properly mixing as it is a strong dose before mixed. Its flu season and they won't even order the tamiflu for my kids unless I pre pay and are only giving me a day supply at a time. Because with sick kids I want to drive there every day and hope the shipment came in. The pharmacist bicker in front of me trying to decide how to ring up my prescribed meds and keep making me come back so I can share the H1N1 flu virus again daily with all the other customers. read more

I really want to like this place since it is close and my rx plan requires either this or a mail order service. Not sure if there are just too many customers and not enough staff but the customer service has either been surprisingly helpful or severely lacking. There is frequently a wait for the pharmacy and when you do get up to the front they are sometimes pharmacy students in training. Last time I went, the student could not find me in the system and referred me to another tech. I was told by that tech that my rx was ready but they did not tell me to go back in the line I was in originally so I wait until it is clear that the tech is longer assisting me. I ask if someone is going to get the rx and that person tells me to go wait back in the original line again to get my meds. Did not grab them or assist in any way so back in line I went...annoying. Other times I have waited for the rx but their PA system lacks so you can't hear it anyway and end up circling the store for a long time until you wonder WTH! Calls are not much better with on hold times of 15 minutes. If I had my choice I would go elsewhere for a more consistent experience. read more

I can't say enough about Noli, a pharmacist at the CVS on 11th. My husband had just gotten out of the hospital and we'd been to two other pharmacies in town and I was feeling desperate... I had (have) no idea how to deal with anything concerning healthcare and insurance and she went above and beyond normal duties to help us. She didn't turn us away as other places had- as it was nearly closing time. She helped clear up many questions that evening and my husband didn't have to suffer through a night of pain because of her assistance. Today she made inquiries on our behalf to other carriers and pharmacies and is still working on getting our unique medical needs and prescriptions filled as well as covered. I highly recommend this pharmacy and thank Noli for having compassion for us mere humans trying to maneuver within a daunting system. read more

The Pharmacy staff should try to take into consideration the people coming to the pharmacy is seriously sick or not feeling well. I'm assuming kindness, understanding and being polite is not discussed during their job interview. I will not write about my disappointing day with CVS, but I will advise patients not to use this pharmacy if you are in pain and need your prescription. Chances are you might drop dead before they even notice you. Hey Pharmacy staff just a brief reminder, you are dealing with sick people and HIPPA is a legit law. If there is a problem filling a customers order, it is not for everyone in the line to know why. I will never use CVS for any of my medication needs again.
