I know if it's an emergency I should be calling 911, not calling a pharmacy. I've spent up to half an hour on hold before giving up, they don't even have an option to call you back. The place is VERY difficult to get in and out of, I guess probably marginally better than the one on East Main St., which I avoid anyway. Really wish they hadn't bought out RiteAid, they were much more responsive and convenient.

There are many phone prompts before you reach a person who asks questions and then sends you to the survey. It is time consuming and worthless. You can complete certain actions online like ordering refills, but you cannot speak to a pharmacist apparently. This system is broken. Shame.

And we were there long enough to see that her pleasant attitude wasn't just for us but for others waiting as well. The other staff members behind the counter were capable, and only one of them seemed rushed and surly. Otherwise the store was fairly well stocked, and we found what we were searching for and checked out without a problem. We have sympathy for all pharmacy workers; during Covid they have been overworked and stressed, and we appreciate what they've done.

We really feel it's time for a serious update on the Litchfield CVS. There are several negative…read morereviews from a few years ago, but we believe a close look at this operation over the last 12 months is overdue. And we strongly believe that in just about every way this store has improved. Sure, you can find issues here and there, but let's briefly examine what's going on now. First, the pharmacy has seriously expanded, in space and staff. They can use more people behind the desk for sure, but they are moving in the right direction. And those people have been very professional and friendly in all of our interactions with them. We've gotten a lot of vaccines over the last year, making quick online appointments and getting the shots on schedule. The pharmacists have not shied from offering counsel. Our prescriptions are handled efficiently. In spite of crowds at the pharmacy at certain times, everyone almost always seems to keep their cool. With the restructuring of the pharmacy, shelving at the store has become more crowded and challenging -- there is not infinite space -- but we've found staff helpful in locating specific items. And the cashiers and others working at the store have pretty good attitudes given their increased duties. They can get pissed at times, but then it is often the customers who lead the way (we've watched this unfold too many times, sadly). The stock of seasonal items and cards remains pretty good, and prices aren't outrageous for items we've looked at. Everything here is a bit more cramped than before; that's the downside, but we don't see where they get much room to expand. Anyhow, we have found this CVS to be improved and improving, in most ways, and we feel they deserve credit for that.

And then he says if I don't like it, I can look for another pharmacy. Don't even step in there. Awful, awful service. Another older gentleman was complaining about the same. Came twice, prescriptions not ready. If too much demand hire another pharmacist. Definitely change the two assistants!!!
