I came across Flowers of Distinction and knew immediately that this was the place. I loved the natural, whimsical vibe. Not being from the area, I couldn't tell how close they really were to the delivery location so I called and spoke to a lovely woman named Robin. I told her I was looking for something spectacular and I was particularly drawn to her work. I selected a stunning arrangement called Blushing Angelique, which was $300, but requested no lilies because the recipient had a cat (and wanted to keep it that way.) But when I gave her the address, we realized it was way outside their jurisdiction. I was crushed because the arrangement was everything I'd hoped for. She asked how I'd found them and who they were for so I told her how a friend had been struggling with health issues after a spinal chord injury and then long Covid, so a bunch of friends wanted her to know she was loved. She said she was actually also a spiritual healer and felt drawn to do this arrangement and make a special exception. I could not believe it! I told her I'd make it worth her while and thanked her profusely. She sent a photo of the final product and it was stunning! She also told me that she had poured all her best wishes and healing energy into the arrangement for my friend. I was incredibly touched. She let me know when she was on the way to delivered it and again when it had been delivered. I told her to please charge an extra $50 for all her extra trouble and the extra distance she had to travel. I have not had the pleasure of interacting with a kinder, more helpful person in customer service since I can recall. I wish we had a Flowers of Distinction near me. First, it's much larger than you might think from the road. There are lots and lots of flowers, veggies and other garden items; no quarreling over the choices to be found here. And for the most part the staff has proven helpful. Mostly. Our main issue is over the prices -- this is not a shop for anyone operating on a budget. And in the spring of 2024, it's pretty expensive here to buy potting plants, perennials, hanging baskets, fertilizer, potting soil, vegetables and the like. You may legitimately argue over whether the likes of Home Depot and Lowes can match the quality here, but they certainly do better when it comes to pricing. Check it out -- you may disagree. But at least you have been cautioned.

This place is a lot bigger than it looks. We found the very hard to find Donkey Tail or Burrito succulents! We bought 2 of those, a String of Teardrop, and a tiny String of Pearls. I also found the most beautiful rain gauge there. They had a really nice selection of all landscaping plants and flowers, even a nice sized selection of houseplants. Everything in this store is well taken care of and healthy. Lastly, the prices were very reasonable. I can highly recommend this place.

The only part that I was totally satisfied with what wonderful window boxes. But from there everything went down and in the past year and became a total disaster. Not only plans we discussed were not carried out, I had to call for routine maintenance and the people she sentwere totally incompetent (she acknowledged this). My flowerbeds became a jungle. When the person in charge came a second time after my complaint and I informed her that she has done a terrible job in the past Abby then informed me that the woman was hurt and insulted. She should never have been sent since she didn't know what was a weed. e. I finally terminated this arrangement. It is my belief since she was no longer taking as active a role and leaving the work to others this was the result. I would not recommend her and Everything Botanical. Abby and her husband are lovely people but fell down on the job.

I placed the new owner on a brief hold and I overheard her tell her assistant that I was a "nightmare."
