We had a good experience here. We made an appointment for a vaccine booster shot, which was easily accomplished, and the young woman in the pharmacy who administered the shot couldn't have been nicer or more professional with us. And we were there long enough to see that her pleasant attitude wasn't just for us but for others waiting as well. The other staff members behind the counter were capable, and only one of them seemed rushed and surly. Otherwise the store was fairly well stocked, and we found what we were searching for and checked out without a problem. We have sympathy for all pharmacy workers; during Covid they have been overworked and stressed, and we appreciate what they've done. read more

This Walgreens seems to get worse with every passing day. A few weeks ago, there was Rod, who when I called to advise that the store had filled my auto refill too early, was completely lacking in any desire to assist, told me not to "get crazy about it, and to call back in a week. THEN after he thought he'd hung up, he proceeded to tell his colleague how stupid I was for calling. I called back and asked to speak to the individual in question, his buddy tried to tell me he didn't know who that was. When I didn't buy that, Rod got on the phone and game me his name. I tried to tell him that the next time he was calling a customer stupid, he should probably make sure the call was properly ended, but he hung up on me. The staff rotated on an almost daily basis, the waits get longer and longer, and customer service is declining rapidly. Just about done with Walgreens. read more

The availability to pick up scripts is terrible! The drive thru is always packed with a long wait. The pharmacy is closed during lunch, when working people may have a chance to pick up. No wonder we've all looked at other providers with mail order! read more

should have read the reviews! they don't lie. this is a terrible pharmacy. tried to get a pcr test done for $128 but they didn't label my results so the lab sent me (btw nothing from Walgreens ever arrived had to contact lab directly) a result that test was not processed and invalid due to the clowns at the pharmacy. and to top it off - no refund from Walgreens. avoid this place! read more

This pharmacy should be closed down! They closed the drive thru, so you have to stand in line for over 30 minutes plus! I can't stand for long periods due to back issues. Different staff everyday, different pharmacist every week. Some of the staff don't have a name tag, so when I call the Walgreens complaint line I don't know her name. Plus they have two register but for over a month only one girl/register open. read more

The worst pharmacy I have spoken to. The customer service is the lowest of the worst. I have to choose a rating just to post my comment, but if it were up to me they wouldn't receive anything from me. There is one female that I spoke with, I didn't get her name, she just quickly got on with a sour attitude right off the bat, and was very condescending to every question and response that I had. It took every inch of me not to reform to my old ways and give her a piece of my mind; the hard way. But I chose to be the better person. All I can say is this person has given this pharmacy a bad name with her bad attitude. read more

If I could give the pharmacy no stars I would. Horrible services and the wait time (even before covid) is terrible. Today sent me over the edge. My fiancée had wisdom teeth removed today and his doctor office called in his prescription at 8 am it's now 10 am medicine is still not ready and he's starting to feel the pain... when my doctor will call in prescription ... it takes this specific Walgreens about 24 hours to fill my prescription. We go here because it convenient but will now be looking for a new pharmacy. read more

Staff at pharmacy are very nice, however, they appear unorganized, very hard to get through on the phone. Also, the cost of prescriptions are very high, if you're using Good-Rx the drugs a are considerably less expensive at other surrounding pharmacies, it would be worth your time to check Good -RX prices at other pharmacies, before having your prescription filled at Walgreens. read more

If you like surly employees, waiting in line, having no information about how to proceed and a general feeling like you, your well-being and your health don't matter, then you should come here. This pharmacy is absolutely terrible. The staff are extremely overwhelmed and burnt out to the point where they just don't care. Their drive thru is closed for Covid testing only and you have to go inside to wait for your prescriptions with every other sick person in Torrington. Then, god forbid you buy something in the store, the front registers are never manned properly and when they show up to ring you out, you're the bad guy for bothering them. At this point I need to transfer my scripts out of there but, I can't even get anyone to help me with that so I feel like I am trapped by them. Seriously, if you've never gone here, don't. Find any other place unless you want constant frustration and annoyance. read more

Asked to have a flavor added to a two-year-olds medicine which they do for $2.99. Couldn't do it because it had a syringe insert, And their Eye dropper Couldn't deposit the few drops to make the medicine more tolerable in the small hole for my child. They must have a huge eyedropper because any eye dropper I have seen would have worked. Lazy people at this pharmacy and unwilling to be helpful. Go elsewhere, not recommended!! read more

Avoid getting the COVID-19 vaccine here at all costs. After I had checked in I sat down and waited for my turn. I heard my first name being shouted. No one was behind the counter or had stepped out to greet me, so I wasn't sure if I was being called up or not at first. "Hi Billie, we're ready to give you your Covid-19 vaccine, please come this way." would have been nice. But no, just one word "BILLIE!". And a second time, "BILLIE!". I saw nary a soul but figured they must be calling me. A few minutes after I got the vaccine I had a sudden bout of severe nausea, dizziness and sweating. My nurse was again nowhere to be found so I asked the white lab-coated pharmacist gentleman where the bathroom was and he kindly told me. I also added that I felt sick from the COVID-19 vaccine, clutching my stomach, sweaty and pale. He responded with a flat "Ok." After releasing my stomach contents in the bathroom and keeping my head between my legs for 10 minutes I luckily felt much better. No one came to check on me in that time or would have cared that I dropped dead for that matter. Do yourself a favor and find a different pharmacy, ANY other pharmacy would be better than this one. read more

The pharmacists have been friendly, most of the people who work behind the cash registers are friendly accept this one young woman I had encountered. I asked a man who worked in the front if they had a public bathroom that I could use with my daughter and where it was located in the store. He informed me that it was in the back and I could use it, after using the bathroom I opened the door and saw the young woman right in front of me blocking the doorway I stood there waiting for her to move over so I could walk out but all she had to say was "what the fuck?" No I never seen this girl in my life before, and I have no idea why she would say that. But I left the store angry and uncomfortable. How could you swear in front of my child, and why would you even say that in the first place for no reason never minding to a customer. read more
