Would not recommend this location! They have no exterior or interior trash cans. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Like many CVS locations, this store has gone downhill and continues to be a frustrating experience! read more

Got a prescription and was told to start taking immediately. Went straight to CVS, was told it would take 15 minutes. Went shopping, got back in line and was told it would take another 20 minutes. The woman helping me started bitching at me telling me they were short-handed. Went home, came back in about an hour. Was the fourth car in the drive-up. When I got to the window the pharmacist shut the window in my face and screamed that he had to have his lunch and he wasn't going to take five minutes to take care of me. The ugliness in that pharmacy that people write about starts with the pharmacist and filters down to his staff. The instructions they gave me were confusing. I will never go back and have that ugly, little mediocre man fill my prescriptions. read more

One of the dirtiest Cvs stores I've ever been to in my life. From the rusty Cvs sign sitting out on the corner of Route 40 for 195 to the stains in the carpet and the unorganized front counter is very unwelcoming. read more

Every single time I come here, the yellow tag deals never, ever, work. I come in today to get 2 for 10 frozen pizzas, the tag details the exact product I wish to buy with the pinpoint description to differentiate it from a smaller size right next to it. I go to self checkout and it doesn't apply the deal even with my extra care card. I call the counter lady over and she says it's not in the system. We walk over to the fridge together and look at the tag, she keeps trying to tell me it's a different one when it blatantly describes the exact pizza I'm trying to get. The conversation was getting nowhere with this so I just put the pizzas back. Extremely frustrating encounter when I am just trying to save $5 on a deal. I don't appreciate being made to feel stupid or undermined because I'm on the younger side. Deal also said it expired 11/2 which has not come yet. Just constant issues with the deals at this CVS. read more

CVS Pharmacy - The Deal - Drugstores Near Me - Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut

Avoid like the plague. 1.) ever since they hired a new, young, male pharmacy the RX has been filled at an extremely slow pace. Errors noted. Auto refills behind. Customer service from actual pharmacy section tremendously declined overall. 2.) made appt. For vaccine. Arrived in time, notified pharmacy staff I arrived and after 20-25 minutes with no interaction whatsoever from staff, left and made appt with a real provider BUT it gets worse.... 3.) after leaving CVS in attempt to get vaccine, received email notification "for my records" that I received the vaccine in my left deltoid! Clearly they didn't give me the vaccine and now my records are falsified. 4.) when filling multiple RX I needed before outpatient procedure, they gave me only HALF the amount of the RX ordered and I had to return to correct same. So myseland my family, will no longer attempt using CVS for RX or any healthcare at all. We will recommend to our clients, colleagues, friends and family to reconsider same. It's one thing to be continually bombarded with those ridiculously long, wasteful receipts full of coupons and be harassed continually via text and email with attempts to get you to pre-fill, refill, or auto-refill RX and a complete other thing to have slow, dismal customer service, long waits, failed appointments, medication errors and falsified records. Absolutely remains the worst pharmacy in the region. Ever since their attempt to also provide health care, in addition to medication; their customer service has become exceedingly horrid. Using app always results in problems and is never synched to actual dates refills are valid. Leading to numerous calls. When an issue arises with insurance, instead of being proactive and notifying customer and speaking to insurance carrier; they leave your prescription laying in limbo and unattended. They also continue to close all pharmacy services for an hour at lunch instead of leaving one or two of the six people working to tend to customers. Our entire family is now switching pharmacies. Obviously customer se vice is NOT a priority with this company nor their employees. read more

To the rude cashier who was nasty and snippy when I only asked "are either of your registers open" If you want us to use the self checkout then you should get rid of the employees who make my visit less personal and enjoyable. read more

This is the worst cvs I have ever used. I have had multiple situations where they were supposed to fill a script and for whatever reason they didn't. Today was one of those times. I got a vaccine there about a month ago and pharmacy staff said my insurance wasn't covering it. They said I would have to save my receipts and submit for a refund from my insurance. When I called my insurance they said that it would have been covered at the pharmacy but wasn't because they billed it incorrectly. This is the closest pharmacy to me and it's he only reason I kept going there. Not anymore. I will drive 30 minutes to go to Walgreens. read more

After a really negative experience with the CVS in Storrs Center I started using this one. I prefer it because it's not as busy and there's less students. Their prices are also pretty high on most consumer goods but I've come to expect that when it comes to CVS. Although, following the holidays I was able to find some mega clearance on items I wasn't expecting - several days afterwards. Upwards of 70% off. I was thrilled to find that while wandering around the store waiting for a prescription to be filled. I also very much prefer their pharmacy staff. They are friendly, timely and professional. My parents worked in pharmacy, sometimes retail, so I tend to be more patient because I know most issues aren't their fault. They explain what's happening if they don't have enough to fill an order and provide timely updates. Favorite pharmacy! read more

Last car in line at 2:50 in the afternoon. I have a broken foot and waited for the 2nd to the last car for 10 plus minutes. I drove to the window and they closed the curtains in my face..Great Job CVS Storrs! We have done hundreds of thousands of dollars of business with your store over the years. This is not the only rude thing your Storrs CVS is guilty of. Take a better look at your employment. read more

Severely understaffed and that lead to long wait times at the Pharmacy well the staff was working frantically trying to keep up with the orders. If your looking in to cvs to use as your pharmacy look else where to a place that can put a reasonable work load on the help and you can get your medicine in a timely manner. read more

This is your typical CVS, though, you should expect it to be busy from late August through early May, due to it being so close to the UConn campus. The staff members working here always seem to be super unhappy, perhaps because they are so busy all the time. I've never felt them to be pleasant to interact with. The people at the pharmacy, on the other hand, are quite friendly, even though they seem to be mobbed with customers, as well. read more

This pharmacy gives me problems every single time I go. I've just switched my prescription here because my last cvs was also incompetent but this one is even worse. They are so rude and unhelpful. This is the worst service I've ever dealt with at a pharmacy. Truly worth 0 stars. read more

I had my 25% coupon that was mailed to me I went into the store and found an item that was not on sale so happen to be a large container of cashews. The cashier said to me I can't use the coupon because they are on sale. I told him they were not on sale that's why I chose this item. He went on to tell me that they did not put the sign up yet. Well is it my fault? So I just walked out of the store cannot even find a manager nearby. Customer service is poor.(( read more

What is with the unfriendly and rude pharmacy clerks at the Storrs CVS. The clerks used to be friendly and helpful but in the last few months when I go to get my prescriptions, the pharmacy clerks are unhelpful and irritated. Poor customer service. The pharmacy is extremely high volume and busy but please train your clerks to have some manners. I feel like My presence is an inconvenience to the pharmacy clerks. There is one older woman with short hair who has worked at the front counter at CVS for 22 years who always smiles and is very cheerful and helpful. The store is full of UCONN students during the semester so it is very busy but quieter during the Summer. read more

They need to train their pharmacy techs to not treat people like criminals or suspects. Other pharmacies aren't like this and I know it isn't typical or necessary. I wasn't even getting an opioid or anything and the tech quizzed me on everything and double checks my ID like he's suspicious of it. It is embarrassing to be harassed in front of a line of people like that. Very rude and demeaning. read more

I'm quite shocked sis to see that you had a poor rating for the CVS staff in Mansfield! I have never had a negative response or rude clerks or pharmacists. I have nothing but positive things to say about this particular store and pharmacy. I suggest that you maybe talk to management to voice your complaints but again, I have never had any thing but good responses and ultra professional and kind interaction with the pharmacy staff. read more
