I highly advise avoiding this CVS for covid testing for so many reasons. First, you perform the testing yourself in the drive through, even though they say you see a NP. I assure you I never saw or spoke to the NP listed on the paper attached. What could go wrong with patients performing their own tests!?! When I brought this up to the pharmacy tech at the window he said that information was provided online. Show me! I have checked and double checked and that info was no where to be found when I scheduled this test. Second, on that same form it states that I was getting tested because I was "in close contact with a Covid 19 patient". That is NOT the reason I submitted for needing this test. I had a procedure that required negative test results. Isn't falsifying medical records illegal? I brought this up to the pharmacy tech and subsequently the pharmacist. The pharmacy tech smugly said it was my fault for entering that information (which I didn't), but the pharmacist was honest and said this was standard operating procedure. On a final note specifically to the pharmacy tech ...don't get irritated with customers when they keep asking you to repeat yourself. It's impossible to hear through the ancient intercom system we are forced to communicate through. I kept getting calls and messages from this pharmacy and I have never been nor do I have a prescription there. I finally listened to the message and it gave me the address of the pharmacy the NAME of the customer the PRESCRIPTION name and the authority to reorder it. I came in the following day with money to cover my prescriptions. I had to wait while they filled it because apparently they didnt fill it the day my wife dropped off the prescription due to insurance not working. I asked them to look up my insurance from the last purchase, and they said they did and see the medi-cal. They told me that medi-cal does not cover any of the prescriptions I got, but they would give me a discount. They made it so I can get the 3 medications from my dentist for $8.99 each, but my anxiety medication was still $75. I found it odd that medi-cal doesnt cover any of the basic medications but I was in pain and had a bad infection so I just paid for the medication from the dentist and went home. I talked to my wife and she told me that when she got doxycicline and ibuprofen for my kidney stones she wasnt charged after they finally took the medi-cal and updated the system. (They apparently didnt update the system because if they did my updated insurance would still be in the system and I wouldnt be having this problem). So basically they didnt see my medi-cal and lied about it, while giving me a discount to keep me happy and to cover their ass. Why would medi-cal cover ibuprofen one week and not the next? Why would they cover doxycycline and not amoxicillin? Why dont they cover a basic hydrocodone? Why dont they cover a generic lexipro? They do, but they were not listening to me and just trying to get me out of there. They were nice with their bullshit so I give an extra star, but I still think it is pretty crap that they didnt listen to my problem or actually try to solve it. My temporary medi-cal card was accidentally washed so I do not have access to it. When you update your insurance with your pharmacist you expect and rely on them to do their job so this is not a problem. I already emailed corporate. They took 1/3 of the last bit of money to my name, and I cannot get my daily anxiety medication because they didnt do their job. I will NEVER come back here. read more

Worst Service ever! They never know how to charge my insurance even for my regular monthly prescriptions. My doctor called in a new prescription and they told me she never called it in and then told my doctor that they did receive it but they were just to busy to fill it. My doctor is reporting them for the incident as the it was an emergency prescription. Get it together CVS this is your only job. read more

Pharmacy Techs super helpful and if they didn't know something they really good about doing the research and figuring it out. They saved me almost $100 on my scripts. I am a regular pharmacy customer, I have been going at least twice a month for the past twenty years. They opened this CVS on Campo road a few years ago which is convenient and close to my house but I also appreciate the fact that the staff always greats me the minute I walk up, they know me by name and are always willing to answer any questions. The employees are the reason I keep coming back. Unfortunately good customer service seems harder come by these days but not here. Keep up the good work!!! read more

This is the second bad experience I've had with their customer service in as little as 3 days. They really need to train their employees on how to not lie to customers and how to speak appropriately to customers. I get that they are mostly young adults and that is why it's so important to stay in school and get educated. Both times I was lied to, once I was hung up on and both times talked to like I was their "homies". Both times dealt with the photo department and both times it was a male (different each time) who helped me. Today I placed a photo order. It was supposed to be ready at 10am. It's now 11:49 am I went to go pick it up and was told they are out of the particular material I ordered. When I asked the gentleman why nobody called me to let me know he replied "I just found out right now". Clearly that can't be true if my order was supposed to be picked up at 10am, additionally, he was just standing around when I entered. Time to go else where door my photo needs. Last Saturday when I had my first bad experience I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but today I will just go back to Costco for my photo needs. read more

I am thrilled about this place! I went very recently, after struggling terribly with my daughter's perscriptions at other pharmacies. Hayley, the person who helped me, was gracious and resourceful at dealing with the insurance struggle. I was amazed at the results! (The only thing is, she wasn't exactly truthful about the time wait: she said it'd be ten minutes, and it was ready in less than five minutes!) Now I'm impressed and grateful. read more

Came in to pick up a prescription that I was told should be ready within an hour of it being put on file. I showed up about 2 hours after I was told it should be ready by. When I checked in, the pharmacist that helped me only asked for my name and date of birth and told me to have a seat saying it'll be ready in 5-10 mins. I sat and waited for over 20 minutes and finally went to the counter to ask for an estimate on how much longer it would take. They asked if I had given them my insurance information, which I didn't yet since they hadn't asked for it yet only to be told after waiting all that time that they don't accept my insurance I would have to pay out of pocket for it, which I cannot afford right now. Essentially I waiting 20 minutes with my groceries baking in the car just to be told they don't accept my insurance. As I was waiting, I saw roughly 5 customers check in and receive their prescriptions with little to no wait while I was sitting there in a lot of pain just to walk out the store empty-handed since they didn't accept the Kaiser Medi-Cal plan. read more

This is the best CVS location that I've been to as far as CVS' go. This one has only been here for ... I want to say a year or so, but not too long. It was a Fresh n Easy before then I believe. They renovated the building and turned it into this CVS. Just what the community needed. I don't even recognize the side of Fresh n Easy in there anymore. This CVS has the best and quickest customer service that I have ever experienced. The cashiers are usually young adults like myself who are very mature and most importantly aren't on their phones at work. They're helpful when you cannot find a product on your own and they're super fast at ringing you up. There's usually only 1 cashier whenever I go in and there's never a line, surprisingly. They always have what we're looking for and its pretty easy to get around. The prices unlike any other pharmacy are kinda high, but it is what it is. Good quality products and friendly customer service. I give this place all 5-stars! read more

My wife and I are planning a trip to eygpt soon and wanted to see about getting some recommend vaccines. We looked online for information and found a company called Passport Health. We called them to find out about their services. What we discovered was that it was going to very expressive there. So we decided to go down to our local CVS and see what they could do. The pharmacy manager helped us and was extremely helpful. We ended up getting 3 vaccines that night and then had to have our doctor prescribe one other which CVS ordered for us. We saved about $800 by going to CVS rather than Passport Health. All with just walk-in 1 mile away and no appointment. Fantastic experience. read more

And they are lucky they are getting the 1 star, I was a patient/customer of this Cvs for years and for a couple years I had no problems the 1st problem I can remember having was when a pharmacist refused to fill my RX due to him not "feeling comfortable" THATS what he told me, I didn't know they can do that I still don't know but ok I let it go and waited for another pharmacist or took it somewhere else that month he was gone shortly after that so ok good they had a new manager Haley she was amazing polite professional friendly caring everything a pharmacist should be. They had a variety of different ethnic people working there which is great I have no complaints about that my complaint would be I can hardly understand them and they could hardly understand me due to this language barrier which I'm not ok with I suppose that's fine if your getting a hamburger but when it comes to medication there should be no misunderstandings and there were a few. So I would need to speak to someone else who I could understand and who could understand me. Well Haley is no longer there and the new manager is RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I received a text from the pharmacy letting me know my son's medicine is ready I received a second text saying I could get a coupon to reduce the price of this RX well I have one from the manufacturer of the medicine already that I've been using there for years cause it's an expensive medicine. I called the pharmacy to let them know to look under my sons profile and they will see a coupon there right away I was told you can't use coupons on controlled substances I told her I've been for years and as of last month as well, she put me on hold hot back on no the district manager says no we never take those, well right away I know there's an issue again I told her I've been using this for years I asked is this a new thing she tells me if I'm not happy here I can go to another pharmacy, really wow from the manager. So when I went to get my sons RX yes there was a coupon that I was able to use she said oh yes you can with insurance well didn't she look at his profile and see we DO have insurance!!! I told her what I thought of her and how this pharmacy has gone downhill since Haley left I said this as nicely as I could. As I'm getting rung up the girl who's checking me out asked me who's Robert? UM I don't know who Robert is as she has his RX there scanning it for me I said I'm not here for Robert I'm here for my sons medicine told her his name as soon as I got home I transferred all my sons RXs.
