This CVS is very convenient if you are in the South Attleboro area. It's at a busy corner where many stores and restaurants are located, so it's an easy in/out. I love their self check out registers, where you scan your card and the entire purchase is done in seconds. I had $5 extra bucks rewards, which I used...my 40% off could not be used on my purchase since what I bought was on sale.... Large parking lot with a drive thru pharmacy. read more

Only one register open. 6 people in line. No one willing to use self checkout. Personally will pay MORE for a live cashier. Customer service her is gone. Clerck working as hard as she can but more counter help needed. read more

This CVS is pretty beat up. Holes in the side of the building, trash juice streaked all over, barley staffed, and understocked. Try a different location read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - South Attleboro, Massachusetts

I've had way too many problems at this location to even remember all the inconveniences trying to maintain my prescriptions. I only have four well known meds, nothing funky but to get any of it correct is a miracle. For a while I had to do their job to make sure my med was on order as I had a couple times almost run out because of lack of ordering the med. yesterday I was given a prescription that should have been archived (not sure what happened there) for a higher dosage than I am currently taking. I brought it back as I had called the night before upon noticing the incorrect dosage (I still have a month supply of current dosage) and was basically told it was MY fault for accepting the incorrect med although the pharmacist that I had spoken with said that the prescription should not have been filled. The clerk was argumentative and arrogant. I've had similar encounters with this same person. Very little is ever followed through so again it has become my job to babysit them to be assured that my prescriptions are maintained. Unfortunately CVS is by far the least inexpensive pharmacy to purchase the meds or,I would never set foot in one again. Instead I will have the scripts transferred to North Attleboro. Update: The med I brought back yesterday? It's still showing on the app that it's ready for pickup. How can anything be so screwed up? read more

Don't come here for your prescriptions- staff is unprofessional, rude and doesn't follow through with ordering. We gave this pharmacy two tries for my daughters special formula. Our insurance covers most of her formula and Katie at the pharmacy made things extremely difficult for us. I called on a Wednesday two days before her formula could be refilled (as they requested after we got it the first time to give them 5 days notice to refill it). I was told Friday it would be there but if for some reason it wasn't it would be in Monday for sure. I called Saturday to see if it was ready or not, was told it would be ordered and they could give us a few bottles. We went Sunday night and the pharmacy was randomly closed. We got a text Wednesday the order was ready for pick up. My husband went to pick it up and they only had 3 bottles when it's supposed to be 24. This had been 7 days after initially calling. My husband called me to clarify, to which I heard Katie in the background say "well I can't make formula appear out of nowhere for you". Really? She told my husband to "call around" for it and that she would continue to "order" it each day. Long story short we transferred the rx to north Attleboro and Jill at the pharmacy was extremely nice and helpful at this location. She said she would never make a customer "call around" and Katie should have looked up for us what other pharmacies had it so we could get my daughter her formula. She pulled aside 11 bottles for us and apologized for the other location agreeing it was extremely unprofessional and they should have helped us rather than 7 days later expect us to find formula when our insurance covers it. read more

This utter incompetence of this branch never ceases to amaze me. Let me share with you my final visit to this ridiculous place. ****Rant***** So I have acid reflux and it was acting up. I work in the area, and asked to have my prescription transferred over so I could pick it up on my lunch break. I figure while they fill that, might as well get all my 90-day scripts in order. They called, said everything was all set and I could come pick up my meds. I have a red dye allergy, so I made sure to remind them that I can't have any red, pink, orange, red, purple, black, brown, etc pills. I show up to get my meds, and apparently they misheard me and thought I said I WANTED red pills. Needless to say, everything had to be redone. Oh, and remember that acid reflux med I needed? Yeah, they didn't transfer that script over. I explained I came in specifically for that med and needed it as my heart burn was killing me. She says go take some tums and come back in an hour. I'm on my lunch break you idiot. It's not easy to come back, also...I'm on the extra strength prescription stuff. Tums doesn't do anything lady. But whatever, I left and called them an hour later. My meds were not ready. At the end of my shift (3 hours after my last phone call) I walked into the store for my meds. They STILL hadn't transferred my script over. She then told me the med was available for pick-up in Fall River...about 40 minutes away. So I said...but I'm here, and I asked you HOURS ago to get this filled HERE for me because my heart-burn is KILLING me. They refused to fill it at this location. I called the manager from my car, she did nothing. I said fine, I guess I'm going to drive to Fall River for absolutely no reason because you guys are terrible. I drove all the way to Fall River to find that this incompetent moron had filled it at the Attleboro location after I specifically told her I was driving to Fall River. I refused to drive BACK to Attleboro so I asked Fall River to get it for me because my heart burn was that bad. The Attleboro store complained very loudly about how ridiculous I was being and that "There's always a problem with this customer. She's allergic to red dye, then she's not". I have an anaphalaxis allergy to red dye. I told you I'm driving to Fall River to get my meds. What is hard to understand about this? Even the Fall River rep (who I've seen many times) told this woman she had no idea wtf she was doing. The Attleboro branch was being ridiculous about transferring the med back. Finally I got my meds. I was so pissed. The CVS rep urged me to call the 1-800# to complain because even she couldn't wrap her head around these idiots. I WILL NEVER GET ANYTHING FROM HERE EVER AGAIN!!! UGHHHHH!!! read more

Not happy with this store at all, my dislike is not with the company as a whole I want to point out. I realize that it is hard to maintain consistency over several thousand stores nationwide. My problem is that the assistant manager and manager of this store are totally useless... The cashiers are all great. I know several by name and they are always helpful. Several times I have gone in and asked for help, a Manager named Brian was called.... 5 minutes later, no Brian.... 10 minutes later, no Brian... I waited 20 minutes. He finally came out of the office, I then spoke with him about a product I needed and he told me no sorry we don't have any right now. Never checked the aisle, never checked the stock room. No sooner did he tell me this he turns, walks away, and SLAM!!! goes the office door... Is this the kind of management that is sought after? The following day, I spoke with Sue the Store manager, at which time I was told that Brian would never do that, he is very courteous, etc... etc... etc... I told her thank you for calling me a liar, at which time she got snippy and told me that she had other things to do and walked away, slamming the same office door... Thankfully, I have 2 other CVS stores near me and have had better results with my needs... read more

I was looking for a couple of specific items for my trip and I was able to find them. Nothing over the top, nothing less than expected, but another CVS, that looks like all the rest of them. read more

The employees dress so disgustingly. They wear TIGHTS!! ITS CRAZY. UNPROFESSIONAL and I don't need my children seeing their butt cheeks.

Maryanne, the pharmacy manager, is one stuck-up lady on a power trip. Not only does she like to think she is an actual physician (asking patients about why they are taking certain medication and what they do with their extra meds), she just loves to get in the last word. She'll tell you one untruth on the phone, but then when you actually confront her in the store, she revels in the confrontation. At the end of the day, there are just way too many pharmacies out there to have to have to put up with her nonsense - I hope she gets whatever fulfillment she is seeking by being totally condescending to customers. read more
