Their other specialty items are also very inexpensive, including jars of grape leaves (roll-your-own dolmades!), shisha for hookahs, halvah, tahini, labneh, and on and on it goes. This market is diagonally across the street from the Modern Diner, another interesting piece of historical architecture. So the next time you go just pay by cash or go elsewhere. The store makes no money on utility payments with the exception when you pay your phone bill - I believe that charge is $1.50 or slightly higher.
