This CVS is essentially like most others. Located on Thayer Street it's open till midnight and carries the range of items you'd expect from a CVS. Since it's on Thayer it's going to have more offerings geared to the college students. This CVS is closer to my home which makes it my CVS and sometimes I'll get the odd craving to make cheap macaroni and find myself at 11:30 at night parking on or around Thayer for a quick food run. Speaking of parking, it's not easy finding a spot as they don't have a lot and trying to find a space in that area is almost futile at certain hours of the day. read more

So many times if find myself thinking to myself that I need something, and know that I am going to find it here. CVS stores can be found almost anywhere. And if you are in the city, there is probably one not far from you. Like always, came here for a specific reason and left with many things. This time needed something for my face that get dry (always before the summer). Found a lotion I used last year and that do the job. Then I started shopping. Got many other things I needed and some not really needed but the day to need them will come. Overall it was good. And it is good to have CVS near you. read more

The location of this CVS right on Thayer St is very convenient for shoppers, diners and students. You might be needing something from the drugstore after having a very large meal, or after realizing you ran out of something in your dorm. It is smaller than other CVS locations but it has most of the basic items you need. There's even a section to get some food on the run if you are hungry for a snack or something to drink. From toiletries and school supplies to snacks, clothes, and film, this place has the bare essentials for living on the street. Negative points for being near a college campus and not being 24-hour. Ewww, this CVS is the definition of "hot mess." This is the closest CVS to Brown, though apparently there's one on Wayland Square. Anyway, the Thayer Street location is essentially CVS redux. Small and cramped and no pharmacy. There is no room to form a line, so it winds up snaking through one of the aisles. Also they never have enough people working. 9 times out of 10, you will wait in a massive/annoying line - no matter what time of day it is. read more

Semi-serviceable CVS, especially for college students. But the missing sections, noted by other Yelpers, are a problem. And it's sad this is not a 24 hour CVS. I also loathe the automatic checkout stands, which the staff encourage one to use even when they are there. Those things never work for me. For non-college folk, or anyone with a car: the Wayland Square CVS is so much better, and you can be helped by an actual person and go to a pharmacy. read more

They never develop my film photos in time and lost them one time. I dropped off my film 5 weeks ago with the guarantee that it would be ready in 3 and it's still not. They also have no way of tracking your photos to tell you if they're lost of if they're just late. I once received photos that I dropped off back three months later. Yikes. I thought all CVS stores were the same - but apparently this one caters exclusively to college students. They have an extended "grocery" section and are completely missing other sections (I was looking for some pet supplies). Go to the Wayland Square location instead, which has a more typical wide variety of supplies. read more

I won't be shopping here again. I picked up a few cleaning supplies and a gift card on Victory Day and was followed around the store. The cashier name was Greg, had a very unfriendly and unwelcoming demeanor. The prices are already high because of location, no customer should be treated that way! read more

Located on the historic Thayer Street by Brown, this is a convenient location for all the college students and those who live in the College Hill area. Like any of your other CVS' you should remember to bring your card or remember the associated phone number so you can get your discounts and credits towards purchases! There's actually a surprising amount of side street parking so don't freak out when you can't find anything directly on Thayer street. In case you needed it, the post office is diagonally across the street from here! Most of the time they have you use the self check out instead of going to a cashier which I think makes things oh so much faster. However, I do admit that I still prefer to use Rite Aid because I find their discounts to be much better after you accrue enough points! read more

Every time I walked into this shop I was greeted by kind and friendly staff. I honestly felt like I was walking into Andy Griffith's Mayberry because of how warm they were. My girlfriend visited the store separately and mentioned the same observation to me one day. The rest of the store is like any CVS, but the staff were amazing! read more

This place is a CVS?! Its terrible mostly alot of junk food and soda. The Employees were nice and helpful but the stock is terrible.
