TERRIBLE PHARMACY EXPERIENCE…read more Absolutely horrible experience at this pharmacy today. The technician, who told me her name was Deema (I'm not sure of the spelling), was rude and had an attitude from the beginning. Neither she nor the pharmacist appeared to be wearing a name tag, so I'm not even sure I have their names spelled correctly. I was told my prescription would take 20 minutes, mind you it's a pre-packaged medication And the pharmacy had no line but whatever so I said to her I would shop around the store while I waited. I came back at 1:33 PM and the pharmacy gate was closed. I could see the employees behind the gate, so I asked what happened to my prescription and explained that I had been waiting. They told me they were on break. I asked if they could please give me my prescription since I had already waited the time I was told, and the pharmacist, who I believe was named Sargis, responded with an extreme attitude: "Ma'am, come back later. We're closed for break." Then he claimed that he had paged/called me twice. I strongly dispute that. I was in the store the entire time and was never properly called or paged. If I had been, obviously I would have gone to the pharmacy. What bothered me most was the complete lack of professionalism and accountability. I followed the instructions I was given, waited in the store, and came back when I was told to. Instead of simply explaining the situation and apologizing, I was treated like I was the problem. Completely unacceptable customer service. I will be taking this up with CVS management/corporate and will not be using this pharmacy again.

This particular store is close to my place of employment and im usually in there a couple times a week. All of the employees are very pleasant and are always eager to assist. Very disappointing but not surprised.

I wish they had the automated services that either texted or called to inform you that your Rx is ready. I can't imagine that would be a heavy lift for them to implement and I got tired of calling, having to talk to the front desk and ask to be transferred to the pharmacist, who always sounded annoyed (I'm sure from taking these calls).

There's quite a selection of asian and middle eastern foods which was a nice surprise. They are always smiling and helpful - if you are looking for something specific, you can call them and they'll check if they have it before you venture over. Also, I think the guy that usually works the counter lives in the building, so the place stays open even when there are blizzards! Gosh. This pharmacy is a throwback to a time gone by - in the best possible way!…read more I'm going to be honest, the storefront is not impressive. It's in a very small strip mall on busy Atwood Ave next to an Italian deli. But walk inside and it's a neat and clean small full service pharmacy with the things you NEED for your health care needs. Rubbing alcohol, bandaids, various cold remedies and more. Some folks of a certain age may not remember this, but you actually had to go to a DRUG STORE to buy these things. So this is that drug store from your grandparent's days. They also have the old school pharmacy kitsch-sun catchers and little trinkets at the counter. But onto the good stuff -the staff. They are kind, friendly and professional. An absolute delight! They clearly had a steady flow of senior customers who are regulars and they took the time to catch up with all of them. This place is all about service. So please don't come here if you're looking for a big box, in and out, make no eye contact transaction. DO come here if you want someone to connect with you, chat up a fellow customer in line and ask about your day - and have the staff greet you by first name, answer your questions thoroughly and apply the proper insurance discounts for you. Parking is tight but easy in and out with a traffic light adjacent to the parking lot.

Prices are reasonable in my opinion for this type of store. The staff are friendly, quick, and efficient. Long lines dissipate in no time. Best of all for me, I can walk here from home if I am in need of anything. If you are in the area and are looking for an easy place to drop in, this is the convenience store for you.
