I recently had to chase my antibiotic prescription for 2 days only to find out it had never left the building. I was told that it takes 24 to 48 hours for new prescriptions. I called my doctor's office, they said they never received a refill request from my pharmacy. So was the pharmacy lying to me? No, they just sent the refill request to a random urgent care doctor I saw 3 years prior. Not my primary doctor who refills several other prescriptions. Is common sense in the room with us?! No. I only found this out after MANY phone calls back and forth, with this pharmacy saying "well we sent the refill request, I don't know why they are saying they didn't get it". Finally, when they figured out they were not sending the refills to my doctor, and they corrected that. They then proceeded to refill the WRONG prescription. I had been out of this medication for a week at this point. It was not until I worked directly with their manager did I finally get my corrected prescription refilled. Doctor was corrected in their system, no further issues in the future, right? WRONG. 1 month later: Pharmacy: we sent the refill request, it was not approved by your doctor Doctor: we never received a refill request. LITERALLY HOW?! It's like a bad movie. Save yourself the headache. Don't come here.

I thought that was weird and it was. The prescription was never run through my insurance, that copay was made up by the pharmacist because he did not like the reimbursement. I will just say that this 100% illegal. They have a contract with my insurance company, regardless of the reimbursement. Meaning they are obligated to fill my prescription at whatever cost to them. I am going to be refilling my prescription in a few weeks, we will see how much the guy behind the counter "thinks" he's going to charge me. I have zero problem reporting them to the board of pharmacy and Blue Cross.

This Walgreens has its own private parking lot with strict 30 min parking spots to keep things moving. I had no trouble finding a parking spot, even at a busy time of day. Assumption #2: The pharmacy must be tiny with not a large variety of OTC products & other goods. Verdict: Wrong! It's very deceiving. It looks super small from the outside, but it's pretty spacious inside with a large beauty & skin section. I found the exact falsies I was looking for. It was clean inside, the staff was friendly, & I found the experience to be not-frustrating which is generally what I'm looking for when it comes to pharmacy errands. I will definitely be back to this Walgreens specifically. I might even move my prescription here.
