CVS has a good selection of snacks...from national brands to their own generic label brand. Many times, they have them on sale and the sale prices come down to almost half off in many cases...those specials, plus coupons and offers that come to my email or mobile app make buying snacks a fairly good deal. The quality of most of them are really good, beef jerky, popcorn, nuts, chips, etc. Keep an eye on the specials and eat away !!! read more

Always good prices/deals.. available products. Staff is friendly - store is organized and prices are accurate/clearly displayed. Online pickup orders are completed timely which makes it very convenient read more

I like that this is a 24/7 cvs! Definitely dependable. It's in a decent neighborhood and the staff is rather nice there. It's clean and nicely lit. Ppl seem less sketchy as well. I guess that's how I would rate my local cvs by lol read more

CVS Pharmacy - the front of the store - Drugstores Near Me - North Providence, Rhode Island

CVS is lost. They are so tied to their regulations that they have literally forgotten who they serve. The people who work here are no longer human. After a years of expense and not a single thank you I'm finally done with this shitty, selfish company. 9 staff the other day behind the counter all running around. 4 customers waiting. 20 minute wait. They don't care about you!!! They care about your money. STOP giving them business!!!! read more

This is more specifically for the pharmacy drive-thru. This is the slowest drive-thru ever. If you think it is going to be quicker to sit in this line, do yourself the biggest favor and just go inside. A pharmacy in a location like this should either have more staff working specifically at the window or figure out a better system. Again- just get your steps in and avoid this CVS drive-thru. read more

CVS Pharmacy - The ridiculous line that ALWAYS happens, whether it's morning, noon or night. Just go inside. - Drugstores Near Me - North Providence, Rhode Island

One hour on hold with the pharmacy. Ridiculous. I had a total knee replacement today, my script was called into the pharmacy and it was not filled. Got some bs line about state regulations and was told my surgeon called it in wrong. I highly doubt that. I had to follow up with my surgeon and then again with the pharmacist. I waited on hold for over an hour and no one answered. I said a family member there and he had to physically wait at the pharmacy to ensure that they did their job. Absolutely ridiculous, unprofessional and unacceptable!! read more

The worst. I have called multiple times to speak to a pharmacist and I'll be on hold for 30-60 min and never once have I actually spoken to anyone in the pharmacy. I even spoke to the manager of the store and was told "the fastest way for you to talk to them is for me to take your name and number down and have them call you back"....3 days later and still haven't heard anything back. Would NOT recommend. read more

It's your typical CVS here so nothing truly stands out as amazing, but nothing stands out as terrible. It is 24 hours which is a plus for me because I'm a surgeon and there's times I am driving around at all hours of the night when I'm on-call so when I need a drink or a snack this CVS never lets me down. The customer service has always been good to me. Plenty of parking off as the lot itself is much larger than the building the store is in. read more

Convenient but has empty shelves and can't seem to restock simple things like ginger ale and real juices. If you are sick and end up here you more than likely need also need to hydrate but if you can't stomach Tampico and blue water melon typhoon Hi~C then you need to go to Cumberland farms next door. It's is also incredibly pricey. read more

Awful pharmacy techs who give you attitude and do not even say hello just stare into your soul. They don't even ask for your name they just stare at you while you have to guess what they want from you. Line is always a million miles long. Doc sent in a script for one pill at 3:30pm and still not ready at 6:30pm. There's always an issue with prescriptions here. Only benefit of this CVS is that it's open 24 hours. If I could give it 0 stars I would. read more

Unfortunately this CVS pharmacy location is pretty bad. Called about a prescription, lady answered my call, got all my information and told me to hold, 10 minutes later answered like I was a new customer and then hung up on me mid sentence. Called back again three times with a wait time of 30min plus and no answer. I really like to give people the benefit of the doubt but this is just ridiculous. read more

I , Donald Steven Whitehurst, always have a good experience at the Pharmacy. If you're kind and considerate to the employees, Karma kicks in and the employees are kind and considerate to you! Now in the general store, my go to lady is named Dakota. She's a young lady with a wonderful personality. She knows the store and can find anything for you. She's has a warm and delightful manner about herself. She also is a great conversationalist while she's working. CVS would be wise to keep her employed. She's been at CVS for a little more than a year and a raise would be in order. North Providence, R.I. read more

Worst cvs by far, everytime I have medications called in following a sick visit they are always out of the medication. They do not contact you to offer your script to be sent to a local cvs for pick up. Spent 45 minutes on the phone waiting to speak with anyone in the pharmacy, when I did I was told my medicine was ready for pick up, get to the pharmacy 30 minutes later and it's still not ready. Very poor customer service from telephone and window etiquette. Will be transferring to Walgreens read more

I don't have any major complaints about the store other than that they are on the expensive side. The pharmacy is another story. For the last 8 months I've been filling a prescription here. It's not a very common prescription, but nonetheless they know I get the same one which comes in two containers every month. One month I found out they gave me one container, had to make a special trip to get the other one. Three days ago I refilled the prescription to be picked up the next day. I received a text that it would be ready the following day because they had to wait for the shipment. Fine I'll wait, I told them. I called today. They still didn't have it, but it should be there Monday I was told, although they can't guarantee it. I asked them if this is going to be a regularl issue because they should know I get that prescription every month. They seriously need to get their act together. If this keeps up I'll be switching that to another pharmacy. read more

They're usually okay. Went one day during COVID to pick up a prescription for my wife. Nobody was answering the drive-through so I had to go in. There were like a half-dozen people in the pharmacy and none of them were checking the window. That's kinda how this place is sometimes. read more

I am so unbelievably mortified with the pharmacy here. My dad is very ill and my mom and I have been going to pick up his oxy and his morphine as prescribed by hospice. This young man in the pharmacy had the nerve to tell my mom that it was too soon to pick up the medication because my dad had a day left of his pills. My mom stated that he needed the morphine for pain and the man had the disrespect to say "what? The oxy isn't enough" as if we were trying to use them as drugs. Terrible. So terrible. read more

I didn't want to write this review, but they hammered the nail in their coffin with this one. I've had numerous issues with this pharmacy in the past--but this one takes the cake. It's a conveniently located 24hr cvs (before I moved anyway). I went in because I was verrrryyy sick. My allergies were so bad that I had to have my fiance drive me over. Finding allergy meds for me that are safe is a major problem. I'm allergic to cherries, red dye, and tylenol!! I was miserable, it was 3am my eyes and nose were watering so badly I could barely read the ingrediant list. I was frustrated so I was hoping a friendly pharmacist might help me. I told her my allergies and what I was looking for, I was coherant enough to explain what I needed. She stared blankly at me. Not even an "I'm sorry I can't help you", nothing. It gets better. I mumbled nevermind then...and went back to scouring the ingrediant lists for safe products. I then hear her and a coworker TALKING ABOUT ME VERY LOUDLY. I mean seriously, I was in the aisle CLOSEST to the pharmacy and we could SEE each other. Really? That's where you decide to call me a bitch? So I shout over, "ummm, I'm not deaf, I'm right here, and I CAN hear you!". She literally said, "what the fuck is your problem??". EXCUSE ME??? WHAT THE FUCK IS MY PROBLEM??? Needless to say I left the store empty handed, and the next day I spoke to the pharmacy manager and the district manager. Never again......... read more

This place is literally the worst. There is not one time that I go to pick up a prescription that there isn't a problem. This last time, I had an auto refill that said it was ready for pick up. I get to the drive-thru, and of course there is a line of at least three cars at all times of the day. By the time I get to the window, I am already kind of annoyed. Then, they tell me the prescription isn't ready. They said they will expedite it and it will be ready in 15 minutes. This is literally the story that I receive every single time that I go to this pharmacy. I wish that they would just get their act together and learn how to run a business properly. read more

Again, this has to be one of the worst pharmacies ever. I've been waiting since 9:25 pm in the drive-thru pharmacy and it's now 9:55 pm and I was just waited on only to be told that they were out of my prescription! The only reason I come here is that it's a 24 hour store and I work odd hours.. This means I have to go their Johnson location and wait in line again to give the RX, wait for the RX to be filled, then wait again in line to actually get the RX. This is beyond annoying! Obviously, we need another 24 hour pharmacy in this area. There's both Rite Aid and Walgreens, but they close by 9 or 10 pm. read more

I just wanted to say that you guys are doing a great job and keep up the good work despite that CRAZY FRIGGEN OLD COUPLE that came in and tried to harass all of you because they have a boner for cupons and then proceeded to hold up the line and blame it on the cashier even though it's those customers' faults because they are obsessed with saving 5 dollars. Bitch was over there yelling at the cashiers complaining to that she didn't have time for this and that she has dinner waiting for them at home. Well scuse me but if dinner is so important to you PAY FOR YOUR FUCKING SHIT and stop giving everyone a hard time! These people were giving me anxiety, I was so angry I was shaking. The lady turned around and looked at me and I just gave her a hard stare. Hell no hoe I do not feel bad for you while you are trying to scam CVS and use 3 extra care cards at once. Grow up loser. Anyway, good job CVS, I'm sorry you had to deal with that couple: the lady with the dirty blonde hair and the guy in the Harley Davidson jacket. They fucking blew. Hope you guys have a better night without them and I hope they never come in again. . Edit: P.S. bitch had a big ass a Louie Vuitton, bitch,l you can handle the extremely 5 dollars fuck off read more

Two stars just based on location and hours alone. This store is filthy and the employees are always miserable. Of course the only time I really come in here is when I'm having some sort of late night pharmacy related emergency... and that seems to be the time when some of the most miserable people are working. Twice now they've "forgotten" to fill scripts that I brought in when they didn't have the stuff available. Both times they said they would call me once the stuff came in, but they never did. One time it was just a mouthwash and I didn't really need it so I never went back. Another time it was something more crucial that I needed, and when I called to ask about it they had not a clue what I was talking about and had to get the script sent over again. At least they have a good selection of stuff for back pain. Lots of stick-on heating pads and the CVS brand "icy hot" is a good value. Sometimes I get random back spasms at night and this is really the only place to go for relief. So thanks for that. They need to do something about the horrible mess of lines up in the front. Get a rope or something? The awkward counter with all the lines mashed together is really confusing and sometimes the customers all look at each other puzzled when the cashier says "who's next?" I much prefer the way Walgreens does checkouts with one line that moves along quickly with multiple cashiers. read more

It's fine here. I mean, besides being robotic - filled with bland monotony...I get what I need and leave. I recall being a kid and going to the local pharmacy with mom. It was an adventure talking to happy active fun people. It's not like that any more...not at this CVS any ways. At least pretend you like working here. My goal is to get in and get out. The cleanliness factor has seriously changed over the years. read more

Transferring a prescription from Walgreens to CVS, definitely not my choice. Was told I would get a call when prescription was ready....did not get a call. The customer service in all CVS locations really sucks, which is why I go only when I have to. At CVS the customer is treated like an interruption of someones day. Customer service is very poor and has been that way since I cant remember and there is sign of change in sight. I understand that there are rude and arrogant people in this world but why does every customer suffer for the one rude one. read more

I don't come in here often because it's always busy. The lines at the registers are long. The prices are relatively high compared to other places like it. The best thing about this place is the hours. Twenty four hours. If you need anything you can go there any time of the night. Pride are high but if you have the loyalty card it helps out and you can get a decent amount is savings. It's good for emergencies but I'd stick to target for a large shopping read more

Ok CVS. Has a Redbox outside. Staff is ok. This CVS offers a photo printing service and is open 24 hrs.

Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. I have literally NEVER had a prescription filled in a timely manner. I write this from my phone as I sit waiting for my daughters antibiotics which were supposed to be filled 20 minutes ago. Not to mention the line is about 12 people long waiting to pick up and they have 1 clerk working. Typical. If you fill here, plan to be here *at least* an hour waiting even if they tell you it'll be ready. Ridiculous! And the staff is not apologetic at all, probably because they're numb to it since it's the norm. read more

Worst service of any pharmacy i've Ever been to. I've never come here and gotten taken care of without waiting forever. I know they are busy but get more help!!! It's Terrible read more

Went to get my prescription that i was in immediate need of. walked up to the desk after a 10 minute wait for 1 person ahead of me only for them to tell me they haven't even started filling it, and to return in 30 minutes. frustrated i waited in my car, just telling myself in 30 minutes i'd be on my way. 40 minutes i walk in, just for the very rude woman to tell me there hasn't been anybody filling them the entire time i was waiting, and to return in another 30. at this point, the pain i was under was almost intolerable, and it was very obvious. the most unsympathetic person behind the counter, rebutting that i just had to wait. i asked if she could provide me with just one pill while i wait, as it would very quickly heal my pain. again hit with the rudest attitude, and told me they were 100 prescriptions behind. still have not received it. please do not go here, i promise you won't get what you need on time, and you'll be hit with the worst customer service imaginable. good luck. read more

Maybe it's just because I have low expectations for a pharmacy after years of disappointment, but this CVS location seems okay. My husband has very negative views--he waited 2 hours for a prescription to be filled--but I have not had such a terrible experience. There's plenty of parking and usually enough staff working at the cashier. The store is well-stocked. The drive up window for picking up and dropping off prescriptions is very helpful. The biggest issue is the wait for dropping off and picking up prescriptions. It seems like there is never enough staff working in the pharmacy. read more

The service here is amazing! They are always there to help and be of assistance! When you are a regular they make you feel welcome! I pick my medicine up here as long as my snacks and gum! If I could give CVS on Mineral Spring Avenue less than a one I would and it wouldn't be a star either. 25 minutes on hold to talk to the pharmacy who gave my wife the wrong information once again. Do not trust what the pharmacist at this point is telling you this is the second time we have got the wrong information on a medication. I wouldn't be writing this review if I wasn't so furious after trying to contact corporate in Woonsocket. The operator transferred me to supposedly customer service there when I wanted to talk To someone with authority like a manager and explain to them what is going on at the CVS. It must be hereditary throughout the organization because no one in corporate answered either after holding for 15 minutes. This has been going on long before Covid so if they cannot blame the pandemic I'm not answering the phone or giving the wrong information it's sad to think after 40 years with CVS I will be transferring all my business and Scripps to another pharmacy. read more

Walked up to the consultation booth on a Saturday afternoon. The pharmacist came over and I asked about the flu shot. She told me flat out they were out, and it wouldn't be carried by my insurance anyways. My mother asked for herself and she got the same response. She then asked if and when they'd be back in stock and she had no answer that helped or answered the question. She seemed to just not want to be bothered with us at all. We walked away and I overheard the pharmacist saying basically she was overwhelmed , it was busy and couldn't catch up. The sign on the road as we left was advertising the shot. The irony. I did call and complain because that's unacceptable and unethical. The person I spoke with said that should've never happened. I agreed. Hope it doesn't happen again. read more

Customer service there is a joke. Should have gone the extra 3/4 mile down road to the Walgreens on rt 44. Much better.

Twice I have been here to get a greeting card and twice I asked myself why I stopped here. Line at the register was across the front with one register open. I don't mind waiting but the cashier seemed to be having a problem with a customer and it seemed like I would be waiting a long time so I went to the register at the pharmacy and while being waited on, I informed the cashier that the line up front was getting long and people were starting to get edgy and she might want to let the manager know. Her answer, Yeah, today is Sunday and we are short handed here to. Not a good answer! While I don't blame the store for her answer, it seems to me that she (and probably some others) need a little more customer training. Second trip, again a Sunday, and again a line across the front, but it did seem to be a little quicker, seems that a person a little higher up opened another register and kept the line moving...Not sure I will be stopping there again if I just need a few items..... read more

I've realized why I've always stuck with rite aid with my meds. Past 3x I've been here it's been nothing but issues. First and second time I received a text that my meds were ready and when I got to cvs they weren't. Was told to wait 20 mins. When i retuned I still had to wait. I will not rely on texts message anymore saying my meds are ready. Then this time is my final straw with cvs. I'm currently battling a bad infection. I came to cvs at 7:30. Was told they had just received my script and said about 15-20 mins. I said ok and waited. I went in at 8:15 (I gave extra time) and then was told that it was not ready and I had to wait another 20-25mins. The pharmacist behind the counter didn't even seem POSITIVE about that and said "I'm sorry we're short staffed." Not something you say to someone who's in discomfort. If you're not sure in the first place, DON'T GIVE A SHORT TIME FRAME! This will be the last time I'm coming here for my meds. Get your stuff together!! read more
