One hour on hold with the pharmacy. Ridiculous. I had a total knee replacement today, my script was called into the pharmacy and it was not filled. Got some bs line about state regulations and was told my surgeon called it in wrong. I highly doubt that. I had to follow up with my surgeon and then again with the pharmacist. I waited on hold for over an hour and no one answered. I said a family member there and he had to physically wait at the pharmacy to ensure that they did their job. I even spoke to the manager of the store and was told "the fastest way for you to talk to them is for me to take your name and number down and have them call you back"....3 days later and still haven't heard anything back. It's your typical CVS here so nothing truly stands out as amazing, but nothing stands out as terrible. It is 24 hours which is a plus for me because I'm a surgeon and there's times I am driving around at all hours of the night when I'm on-call so when I need a drink or a snack this CVS never lets me down. They don't even ask for your name they just stare at you while you have to guess what they want from you. Line is always a million miles long. Worst cvs by far, everytime I have medications called in following a sick visit they are always out of the medication. They do not contact you to offer your script to be sent to a local cvs for pick up. Spent 45 minutes on the phone waiting to speak with anyone in the pharmacy, when I did I was told my medicine was ready for pick up, get to the pharmacy 30 minutes later and it's still not ready. I don't have any major complaints about the store other than that they are on the expensive side. The pharmacy is another story. For the last 8 months I've been filling a prescription here. It's not a very common prescription, but nonetheless they know I get the same one which comes in two containers every month. One month I found out they gave me one container, had to make a special trip to get the other one. Three days ago I refilled the prescription to be picked up the next day. I received a text that it would be ready the following day because they had to wait for the shipment. Fine I'll wait, I told them. I called today. They still didn't have it, but it should be there Monday I was told, although they can't guarantee it. I asked them if this is going to be a regularl issue because they should know I get that prescription every month. They seriously need to get their act together. If this keeps up I'll be switching that to another pharmacy. read more

I am so unbelievably mortified with the pharmacy here. My dad is very ill and my mom and I have been going to pick up his oxy and his morphine as prescribed by hospice. This young man in the pharmacy had the nerve to tell my mom that it was too soon to pick up the medication because my dad had a day left of his pills. My mom stated that he needed the morphine for pain and the man had the disrespect to say "what? The oxy isn't enough" as if we were trying to use them as drugs. Terrible. So terrible. read more

I've been waiting since 9:25 pm in the drive-thru pharmacy and it's now 9:55 pm and I was just waited on only to be told that they were out of my prescription! The only reason I come here is that it's a 24 hour store and I work odd hours.. This means I have to go their Johnson location and wait in line again to give the RX, wait for the RX to be filled, then wait again in line to actually get the RX. This is beyond annoying! Obviously, we need another 24 hour pharmacy in this area. There's both Rite Aid and Walgreens, but they close by 9 or 10 pm. read more

This place is literally the worst. There is not one time that I go to pick up a prescription that there isn't a problem. This last time, I had an auto refill that said it was ready for pick up. I get to the drive-thru, and of course there is a line of at least three cars at all times of the day. By the time I get to the window, I am already kind of annoyed. Then, they tell me the prescription isn't ready. They said they will expedite it and it will be ready in 15 minutes. I didn't want to write this review, but they hammered the nail in their coffin with this one. I've had numerous issues with this pharmacy in the past--but this one takes the cake. It's a conveniently located 24hr cvs (before I moved anyway). I went in because I was verrrryyy sick. My allergies were so bad that I had to have my fiance drive me over. Finding allergy meds for me that are safe is a major problem. I'm allergic to cherries, red dye, and tylenol!! I was miserable, it was 3am my eyes and nose were watering so badly I could barely read the ingrediant list. I was frustrated so I was hoping a friendly pharmacist might help me. I told her my allergies and what I was looking for, I was coherant enough to explain what I needed. She stared blankly at me. Not even an "I'm sorry I can't help you", nothing. It gets better. I mumbled nevermind then...and went back to scouring the ingrediant lists for safe products. I then hear her and a coworker TALKING ABOUT ME VERY LOUDLY. I mean seriously, I was in the aisle CLOSEST to the pharmacy and we could SEE each other. Really? That's where you decide to call me a bitch? So I shout over, "ummm, I'm not deaf, I'm right here, and I CAN hear you!". She literally said, "what the fuck is your problem??". EXCUSE ME??? WHAT THE FUCK IS MY PROBLEM??? Two stars just based on location and hours alone. This store is filthy and the employees are always miserable. Of course the only time I really come in here is when I'm having some sort of late night pharmacy related emergency... and that seems to be the time when some of the most miserable people are working. Twice now they've "forgotten" to fill scripts that I brought in when they didn't have the stuff available. Both times they said they would call me once the stuff came in, but they never did. One time it was just a mouthwash and I didn't really need it so I never went back. Another time it was something more crucial that I needed, and when I called to ask about it they had not a clue what I was talking about and had to get the script sent over again. At least they have a good selection of stuff for back pain. Lots of stick-on heating pads and the CVS brand "icy hot" is a good value. Sometimes I get random back spasms at night and this is really the only place to go for relief. So thanks for that. They need to do something about the horrible mess of lines up in the front. Get a rope or something? The awkward counter with all the lines mashed together is really confusing and sometimes the customers all look at each other puzzled when the cashier says "who's next?" I much prefer the way Walgreens does checkouts with one line that moves along quickly with multiple cashiers. read more

Went to get my prescription that i was in immediate need of. walked up to the desk after a 10 minute wait for 1 person ahead of me only for them to tell me they haven't even started filling it, and to return in 30 minutes. frustrated i waited in my car, just telling myself in 30 minutes i'd be on my way. 40 minutes i walk in, just for the very rude woman to tell me there hasn't been anybody filling them the entire time i was waiting, and to return in another 30. at this point, the pain i was under was almost intolerable, and it was very obvious. the most unsympathetic person behind the counter, rebutting that i just had to wait. i asked if she could provide me with just one pill while i wait, as it would very quickly heal my pain. again hit with the rudest attitude, and told me they were 100 prescriptions behind. still have not received it. please do not go here, i promise you won't get what you need on time, and you'll be hit with the worst customer service imaginable. good luck. read more

Maybe it's just because I have low expectations for a pharmacy after years of disappointment, but this CVS location seems okay. My husband has very negative views--he waited 2 hours for a prescription to be filled--but I have not had such a terrible experience. There's plenty of parking and usually enough staff working at the cashier. The store is well-stocked. The drive up window for picking up and dropping off prescriptions is very helpful. The biggest issue is the wait for dropping off and picking up prescriptions. It seems like there is never enough staff working in the pharmacy. read more

The service here is amazing! They are always there to help and be of assistance! When you are a regular they make you feel welcome! I pick my medicine up here as long as my snacks and gum! Do not trust what the pharmacist at this point is telling you this is the second time we have got the wrong information on a medication. I wouldn't be writing this review if I wasn't so furious after trying to contact corporate in Woonsocket. The operator transferred me to supposedly customer service there when I wanted to talk To someone with authority like a manager and explain to them what is going on at the CVS. It must be hereditary throughout the organization because no one in corporate answered either after holding for 15 minutes. This has been going on long before Covid so if they cannot blame the pandemic I'm not answering the phone or giving the wrong information it's sad to think after 40 years with CVS I will be transferring all my business and Scripps to another pharmacy. read more

Walked up to the consultation booth on a Saturday afternoon. The pharmacist came over and I asked about the flu shot. She told me flat out they were out, and it wouldn't be carried by my insurance anyways. My mother asked for herself and she got the same response. She then asked if and when they'd be back in stock and she had no answer that helped or answered the question. She seemed to just not want to be bothered with us at all. We walked away and I overheard the pharmacist saying basically she was overwhelmed , it was busy and couldn't catch up. The sign on the road as we left was advertising the shot. The irony. I did call and complain because that's unacceptable and unethical. The person I spoke with said that should've never happened. I agreed. Hope it doesn't happen again. read more

I've realized why I've always stuck with rite aid with my meds. Past 3x I've been here it's been nothing but issues. First and second time I received a text that my meds were ready and when I got to cvs they weren't. Was told to wait 20 mins. When i retuned I still had to wait. I will not rely on texts message anymore saying my meds are ready. Then this time is my final straw with cvs. I'm currently battling a bad infection. I came to cvs at 7:30. Was told they had just received my script and said about 15-20 mins. I said ok and waited. I went in at 8:15 (I gave extra time) and then was told that it was not ready and I had to wait another 20-25mins. The pharmacist behind the counter didn't even seem POSITIVE about that and said "I'm sorry we're short staffed." Not something you say to someone who's in discomfort. If you're not sure in the first place, DON'T GIVE A SHORT TIME FRAME! This will be the last time I'm coming here for my meds. Get your stuff together!! read more

Twice I have been here to get a greeting card and twice I asked myself why I stopped here. Line at the register was across the front with one register open. I don't mind waiting but the cashier seemed to be having a problem with a customer and it seemed like I would be waiting a long time so I went to the register at the pharmacy and while being waited on, I informed the cashier that the line up front was getting long and people were starting to get edgy and she might want to let the manager know. Her answer, Yeah, today is Sunday and we are short handed here to. Not a good answer! While I don't blame the store for her answer, it seems to me that she (and probably some others) need a little more customer training. Second trip, again a Sunday, and again a line across the front, but it did seem to be a little quicker, seems that a person a little higher up opened another register and kept the line moving...Not sure I will be stopping there again if I just need a few items..... read more

I have been visiting this location for over 7 years. I have major issue with I believe is a pharmacy tech or clerk lady short, dark hair and glasses. This lady is miserable every time she waits on me or anyone it's never hi, hello, thank you, have nice day or night.. Wednesday night i went to pick up my prescription and I just had it. The woman waits on me again nothing comes out of her mouth except name. I give her my name and she cashes me out and says nothing again. I said to her thank you have good evening really loud. It's unbelievable how people like this still have jobs. We have so many people looking for jobs and we have people like this working with the public. REALLY!!! This is unbelievable.
