I have had so many issue with Walgreens in the last few months that I wish it was easier to change a prescription to a new pharmacy than it actually is. I switched from CVS to Walgreens a few years ago because the cost of my medication was cheaper. For quite awhile I had no issues. I even went to Walgreens for my Covid 19 shots and boosters as well as my yearly flu shots. My love affair with Walgreens ended a few months ago when suddenly my medication was not available for refill because it was back ordered. This may not be the pharmacy's fault but they just didn't seem to care! I'd spent literally 45 minutes to an hour on hold waiting to talk to someone and then get the run around. At one point the prescription was sent to a different Walgreens (by my doctor, Walgreens would not do this for me) that had the pills in stock. After driving out of my way to this location and waiting 30 minutes I was told the pills were actually expired and they couldn't fill it! I tried to reach out to someone about all this poor service by posting on Twitter and was sent a DM immediately asking for my contact information. I supplied it and was told I'd get a call in 2-3 days. Well folks, that was 3 months ago and no one has called. I've reached back out to the Twitter account and they apologize and say someone will call, but they don't. Long story short, when I can find a pharmacy with a competitive price I will be leaning Walgreens and not looking back. I'm not sure if any of them are better, I mean I left CVS for a reason, but I'm ready to try someone new. Fun fact: when you are on hold with Walgreens their automated system plays you 18 seconds of hold music and then gives you a 8 second voice recording explaining how important your call is to them. The system the REPEATS the SAME 16 seconds of hold music followed by the same 8 second voice recording. Try dealing with that for 45 minutes waiting to talk to the pharmacist, I dare you!! This pharmacy is rarely open overnight despite advertising themselves as a 24/7 location. LAME.

My regular walgreen didn't receive my son's script and were closing in 40 minutes. My NP was trying to call in his script but no one was answering and the pharm tech said she'll probably never get through by the time they close (gee thanks). She called this Walgreens instead and they were super helpful. They were able to fill my sons script in 30 minutes. It's a sketchy neighborhood but the staff at the pharmacy is amazing. read more

(I lost my receipt, so I'll leave my review/survey here) I shop at this Walgreens pretty regularly and I'll usually come during the night, and I'm usually impressed my Steven, the night manager for his work ethic, jovial demeanor and exceptional customer service. When I arrive, it was pleasing to see how easy it was to find items as the shelves are always stocked, and the associates taking care of customers while actively cleaning and restocking. Most recently, I was pleased to be greeted by Steven, who shared a bright and welcoming smile. More importantly, Steven was eager to help. You see, I travel for work and don't get home until late, sometimes around 3-4 am, to which I'll stop by Walgreens to pick up formula and other infant supplies for my new born. Steven, was there to not only help me find the items I needed, but he was very resourceful and insightful when helping me find diapers and formula for my new born. I can always trust in Steven and his crew to have whatever it is we need at home. I strongly recommend him for any leadership role as he has yet to let me down. If he continues making an impact like he has with me, id envision that he has a bright future ahead of him! I give Steven and Walgreens at 100 Broad st 5 stars. read more

In a day and age where customer service is bordering extinction, it was very refreshing to find staff member Bizzy going above and beyond the call to assist me with copies of old photos for an upcoming wedding. He was very patient and shared with me some new and improved technology to scan and copy photos and gave me a break on the price as well due to a special they were running that I was unaware of. I would highly recommend patronizing this business. read more

It's close to where I live, it's on the way home from the ballpark, it's open all the time. The staff is pleasant. The store is fairly tidy. HOWEVER. This "one cashier" bullcrap needs to stop. It's a busy store and yet they can't be bothered to do ANYTHING about it. No matter when you go, you're stuck in this long, slow-moving line. Occasionally, the photo kiosk or the cosmetics register will open, but don't ever plan on a quick in/out. Furthermore, there's usually at least one crackhead with a sob story out front. I am not unsympathetic to addicts, but a simple "Can you spare a dime?" works better than "I ran out of gas/got beat up/need bus fare/get my daughter some formula". I hate this place. I hate it. Never go there. read more

I live practically next door to this Walgreens so I come here on a regular basis. Actually, let me refine that. When I'm rolling out of my apartment in pajamas and want cigarettes or a snack, I come here. When I'm better dressed and want household stuff or some food, I go to CVS down the street. I like this Walgreens because they're open at all hours and there aren't usually that many sketchy people hanging around the front door at 2am like some other places. I always get stuck in line behind someone paying with food stamps who act like they've never used their card before and hold the line up for 15 minutes. Or old people who decide to do their grocery shopping here. In general, they're pretty quick about opening up two lines but on most days you'll wait either way. The day staff here isn't all that friendly, but the night staff and guards are always very pleasant. read more

Mixed feelings about this place... Pros: - good variety of items - decent prices - open 24 hours Cons: - sketchy clientele. Out of their control, but sometimes feel unsafe or uncomfortable in both the store & the parking lot. And there is always someone asking you either for money or a cigarette. - can be hard to find an associate for help. Particularly true for Photo. Again, mixed feelings. Probably will return, but likely only during the day or with a buddy. read more

Every time there are issues. I get the wrong prescriptions, I try to call in and am on hold for an hour for the pharmacist and I get accosted by panhandlers outside. This is the WORST Walgreens I've ever dealt with, and there's no accountability either. read more

They get two stars because the inside of the store is always stocked and tidy. However checking out takes a lifetime. And the sketchy people outside really annoys me. I usually go at night alone and it's scary to walk by these people to the car. read more

The girls who work her are the sweetest ever. I've been coming here for over a year and never fail to smile because the clerks have become my friends. Walgreens: raises for everyone.... You're an enormous company, I don't think your CEO, CFO, etc. will really suffer if they give an extra $5 -$10. This place is SKETCHY. No matter what time of day you go here, there is always some sketchy looking person, or homeless person or how I refer to them as "Urban Campers" hanging out in front asking for money. The staff inside and the Police usually do a good job of keeping them away but it's almost a full time job in itself. There store is fairly clean and pretty much everything, deodorant, cold meds, antacid med are behind locked cases so you have to ask someone to help you. The employees are friendly especially the over night crew. This place is great for people watching, one time I left and as I drove around the back of the building to the exit toward the side street, one of the Urban Campers was dropping a deuce on the sidewalk ...WTF. But with all that said , it is open 24hrs. which is nice. read more
