Normally, I wouldn't rate a small, independent gas station and convenience store at 4 stars, but…read morethis place exceeded my expectations. There are four pumps and an amply-sized parking lot, and it's in a location that is convenient, yet not too difficult to enter and exit. Gas prices were middle-of-the-road. Inside, the store is small, but does not feel cramped, and it appeared to be reasonably neat, clean and well-stocked. It has a decent variety of drinks, snacks and basic grocery items. The amount of space devoted to smoke shop items - which include cigars, glass pipes, bongs, vaping supplies, etc. - is impressive, and the displays are brightly lit with LED rope lights. Shelves of gum and similar items under the front of the checkout counter are also brightly lit with LED rope lights, giving the store a bright, cheerful atmosphere. And the man behind the register was equally cheerful. They get bonus points for carrying my favorite Arizona drink.

They have deli meats and cheeses available which are fresh and very reasonable in price. I was a frequent customer of this store many times many times per week and enjoyed what they offered their customers . In late 2010 the help changed and they began to employ very young , immature , kids . These "new " batches of employees were /are insulting , rude and hateful of their customers . when trying to pay for what you are buying they act like you are bothering them and make you wait an unreasonable time to be waited on while they talk on the phone or each other . These same employees will talk about you before you even leave the store and some times even in front of you . this store could do so well which what is has to offer if the owner / manager smartens up and watches the place secretly when these employees think no one is watching . i have never felt more unwelcome in any establishment any where at any time ever !! 2/14/2012 my friend goes in there after over a year of boycott from being treated so badly and as soon he walked in the door , the rude little f#$%ers ask him if he knows how to pluck his eyebrows . I must mention that these little jerks all have uni-brows which does not make them bad people but they insulted him and then began to talk and laugh in another language . Stay away !!!

Receiving this type of rude service made us unwelcome and awkward. Not sure if he was being racist, but we won't be returning.
