For me, the big draw here is the spices...enormous pint and quart containers of allspice, cardamom, rosemary, za'atar, you name it...everything needed for Middle Eastern cooking, at ridiculously, absurdly low prices. Their other specialty items are also very inexpensive, including jars of grape leaves (roll-your-own dolmades!), shisha for hookahs, halvah, tahini, labneh, and on and on it goes. Be careful what you buy, he buys in bulk and things tend to get stale and flat. And don't buy any ice cream, it has melted 2 times now from the used freezer that keeps breaking down.

I was met with comments like "well at least I have insurance and pay for mine" "if you want any discounts you're going to have to come inside and talk to someone else" among others. She told me she would remove any discounts on my account just because I started to become upset and frustrated. I believe I was warranted to be upset considering all of the information I gave her was correct and my insurance has not expired yet. Shame on you Michelle. You shouldn't be working in any type of health care or customer service.

They do this thing where they write the major jackpots down on a little piece of paper (TODAY'S MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT IS $42,000,000) and tape it to the register. I can't tell you how many times this has compelled me to buy a quick pick or two... and I NEVER buy them anywhere else. What a clever move! They've got a great staff and you never have to wait in line very long, even though all the Rhode Island kidz and commuters battle over the pumps.
