Inside is kinda dingy and I saw no bathroom for customers. There's no impressive coffee station, unlike Cumberland Farms. Normally, I would rate this type of gas station/convenience store around two stars (or even one, if there are more serious issues), but I have no problem rating this place a solid three stars, and would even give it 3.5 stars, if Yelp allowed half stars in individual ratings. That's because their prices are super low. As of Oct. 20, 2017, their price for regular unleaded gas was $2.43 - that's a full 20 cents per gallon less expensive than the Shell station nearby! Also, they charge less than $2.80 for a gallon of 1 percent milk, which is the cheapest current price I've seen. And, a 16-ounce Red Bull was $3.79, versus an average of $4.19 elsewhere. Their location - adjacent to the traffic rotary across from Royal Mills - is actually quite convenient and easy to pull in and out of, with several curb cuts in their parking lot. Yet another reason I like them is that I ran out of gas nearby, about a year ago, and they helped me out a lot when I was in a jam, so I appreciate that. Signs advertise hamburgers, fried chicken and French fries. I stopped in around 10 a.m., so the deli / fast food part of the store was closed, but I was at least able to check out the rest of the store. My first impression was that the store did not appear very clean. The small coffee station was rather messy, and the floor and glass could have used a thorough cleaning. They have a basic selection of drinks, snacks and grocery items, although their frozen food section was very sparse. A sign inside advertised a selection of about a half-dozen sandwiches for only $4.95, but I was put off when I saw a full, uncovered trash can next to the deli - who knows how long that trash had been there, since it could not have been full from this morning. So although the sandwich prices looked appealing, the surroundings did not. About the only positives I observed there were good prices on energy drinks such as Kickstart (2 for $3), and hella cheap gas.

I did see a very small selection of produce immediately to the left of the entrance. The section on the right presently appears to be used for storage (I'm not sure if it used to house a pizza operation mentioned in other reviews?). This market is diagonally across the street from the Modern Diner, another interesting piece of historical architecture. It's cool to see old buildings still around, whether they are being used for their original purpose, or re-purposed.
