Snack selection and drinks has improved. Nice store layout. Really busy pharmacy so probably avoid coming after 5pm as you'll wait in lines even if all the lines are open I've seen it be so so busy. I went up to pick up a prescription on a recent Saturday. It was packaged and ready to go. I them showed the pharmacy tech a coupon. As it would take time to ring up the new price, she told me come back after 2:00 PM. I said, "OK" -- that wasn't a problem for me. Apparently it was getting near the lunch break but I didn't know that. I then asked to speak to a pharmacist. The pharmacist, from a distance, said in a clipped tone, "What's your question?" Before I could answer she again impatiently said, "What's your question?" I asked if a special replacement order from the manufacturer had come in. She replied, "I know nothing about that." As she was turning away from me, she said, "Besides it's Saturday." I should have said "Excuse me, but you have no problem taking my money on Saturday." If I was encroaching on her lunch break all she had to say was, "I'm sorry but I can't help you now, we're closing for lunch." It was the rudest customer service that I have received since the 1970s. read more

Would rate ZERO stars if i could. The pharmacy staff is rude, incompetent, and unethical. The Pharmacy Managers name is Patricia. She refused to give me her name when I asked for it and instead walked away from me. I had to ask another employee for her name. Patricia refused to refill my 2 medications (which I take daily) because she decided it was harassment for me to ask her to resolve a script filling mix up with a different Cvs that I was unable to pick up because that Cvs had their system down. Asking for help with a Cvs issue does not constitute harassment. Also what right does this pharmacist manager have to refuse to fill my medications. I have spoken with my doctor who is outraged and we will be contacting the pharmacy board together to file an official complaint. I know other people in the town who have had similar issues with Patricia. Patricia should have her license taken away. She has no business refusing to fill scripts because of her own emotional issues with a customer/client. read more

Still horrible. I stopped in to get sinus pills - the kind with an ingredient that you have to grab a card and bring it to the pharmacy? The one I wanted was out of cards so I had to explain that to the unfriendly blonde woman at the pharmacy, and describe what I wanted. But its tough to describe and pronounce some of the ingredients. The woman was frustrated and upset - who was giving me the virtual 'smirk with hands on hips' like I was a kid who wasn't sure what candy he wanted. I apologized and said there are no cards left for me to bring to the counter, and she said sarcastically, "Well I can't help you if you can't tell me what you want." There were people in line behind me and it was embarrassing - this approach to customer service is unnecessary. read more

I will start with usually the pharmacy here is helpful and polite, not today. I was in for the third time this week trying to straighten out a prescription problem. The girl working the register was less than helpful and was very condescending in her delivery of an unhelpful, text like, answer. As I was told to do, I called my doctor and found that the request for renewal was never received by his office. Getting older sucks, being treated like you are compromised makes it worse. Unfortunately CVS has a near monopoly on this market making a move to a new pharmacy difficult. read more

Was just there at 11:45am on Monday Dec 12th 2022 and the last working the pharmacy drive thru was just super rude. Asked for my DOB even though I gave her my license. Then I asked her if the script was the inhaling she said no so I asked her what is it she said "I don't know" and then held the script up I said I can't see it from there aren't you a pharmacist should you know what your handing out she said no she is not. Who the hell is passing out medicine then a nobody that can't answer the questions about the medicine. Then I asked for a pharmacist and she came to the window super annoyed. What's with people signing up for jobs they don't want to work. This pharmacy is a joke. read more

I had just left the hospital with my sick child pulled up to cvs at 6:59 & the pharmacy closes at 7:00 BY 7:03 they are walking around the store an older woman & skinny older man getting snacks, popcorn & a drink...seriously? You couldn't stay open for 10 more minutes till 7:10? And have the common courtesy to those who get out of work late or have sick children. Absolutely terrible service at this location from the front desk to the Pharmacy, all across the board. Not only have I received mediocre service at best but some of my family have been highly disrespected here. One incident, my Aunt was told to shut up when taking to a Pharmacist on the phone. Under no circumstance should a Pharmacist EVER talk to a customer that way. My mother also was given a lot of trouble by the cashiers any time she tries to use a coupon. Many times they flat out refuse her coupons for the dumbest reasons when other CVSs take them no problem. In fact other CVSs are puzzled when told they were rejected at this location. It's like they make up their own rules or get mad if a customer has a lot of coupons. Take my word, go to the Armistice Blvd location in Pawtucket. Never once had a problem there. If anything, they go out of their way to accommodate their customers! Complete opposite of this location. I will no longer be going to the location and it's right down the road from my house. Never had a problem with the pharmacy but the front cashiers are mean and never have a nice positive attitude. Every time I want to use a coupon or something like that I get the biggest attitude from them....and it's not like I'm a crazy coupon lady, just two coupons. They make little snide comments that just aren't necessary. I thought it was just one specific woman but now there's a couple of them. I get it, retail is no fun but I'm being extremely friendly and respectful, I expect the same in return. Rude pharmacy tech at this store; absolutely no need for tech to be demeaning. Made complaint to CVS customer service, will see if they respond. Will follow up until solution. Received an apology from CVS Customer Service Representative, we'll see if that does anything to resolve problem. The pharmacy customer service and attitude remains below average at this time (09-14-2017), unfortunately. The process that is used when buying Sudafed or Claritin (pseudoephedrine products) is very much like being pulled over by the police; license, sign this, do this... no please or Thank you, very impersonal! I would give this place a better review if I could base it on their minute clinic or their pharmacy. Where they run into trouble is the checkout for standard items. I have never waited less than five minutes even if I am the only person in line. I have taken over ten with just one person in line in front of me. I walk in just to buy gum to get cash back. Waited a good 3 mins before someone older man came behind the counter and rudely asked, "..well did you ring the bell?" I wasn't in a rush nor made it to appear that way. I replied I didn't see one..As I was standing there waiting I saw a basket with 75% off stuff. I love me a good sale. So grabbed something that was 6.99 and asked what the price would be and he replied..."uhhh it's 6.99 so it would be 75% off of that." ...like, really dude? C'mon you're like 60, cheer up! This CVS pharmacy is horrible I've gone there four times for my grandmother's prescriptions every time I go they don't have enough in stock no matter what it is and they are unorganized they asked my my grandmother's date of birth five or six times and then they told me a couple times that they would have more of her prescription in stock the next day and I went back and the other pharmacy tech had no idea what I was talking about I guess they don't communicate with each other terrible service won't be coming back read more

Always kind and helpful. The pharmacist is happy to answer any med questions even if you're not purchasing anything at the pharmacy. I've gone in quite a few times to buy some over the counter meds and have always had a good experience with the pharmacist if I've asked him about med interactions or which over the counter meds would be most helpful. read more

Im in this cvs at least once a week, i have been going before the new store was built. The prices are well cvs prices they can be up there if not on sale. This CVS pharmacy is always screwing up my families prescriptions. It's unbelievable how bad they are. Always a new pharm tech screwing up the insurance input. On the phone just today for 45 minutes trying to straighten out my insurance which CVS screwed up. What a waste of my time for their mistake. They are always getting wrong drugs amounts, take 10 come back next week for more. WTF this location needs an good look at their pharmacy team and do an overhaul. I've talked to others about this location and they have had similar war stories. If you can use a different pharmacy do so. We had to use them because of health insurance reasons but now that we are in a better position we are switching pharmacies ASAP. read more
