When I first moved to the area just a few months ago, I chose this pharmacy as my top option based on its high ratings and positive reviews. But that changed in an instant, and they are no longer my number one pharmacy. I was having surgery, and I had my prescriptions sent to this Pharmacy. I got a call from the staff saying that they couldn't fill my oxycodone prescription because they were backordered 3 to 6 months. That's unacceptable. That's a prescription that should be easily filled. It shouldn't be backordered. I asked where else I could find it, and they suggested calling Wegmans, which had it in stock and filled it very easily. I don't understand how a pharmacy could not have a prescription that is so common and needed when someone has surgery, like I did. They filled the other three prescriptions I had sent in for different things during my first couple of months. However, when you can't fill a simple prescription like that, you quickly switch to a place that can fill everything, and that's where I am now. I can't in good conscience recommend using Choice Pharmacy because they let me down at a time when I needed them the most.

She did a great job balancing the customers on her own and was so sweet and polite. Made conversation about starting nursing school this fall and about how nice my stethoscope turned out. Of all the times I've been there, they've always seen my insurance card, nobody ever put my information into the system. Sarah took her time and did so and my medication was ZERO CO PAY LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE! I was wondering why was I paying so much for my medication when I never pay that much for it. And then to wait so long when I'm in pain. All of a sudden, the pharmacist wants to play nice with me. Oh no, it ain't happening with me lady, because I heard you back there forgetting to put the label on my medication and I was missing a medication and if I had not checked my bag, I would've gotten all the way home and not had the main medication that I needed. I'm not even from Maryland and I don't know my way around this place. Walgreens has caused me the biggest inconvenience ever and you owe me money for not checking my insurance.

That always makes the shopping trip a little more bearable as the prices are a little bit higher Than at a grocery store. All in all not bad.
