When I first moved to the area just a few months ago, I chose this pharmacy as my top option based on its high ratings and positive reviews. But that changed in an instant, and they are no longer my number one pharmacy. I was having surgery, and I had my prescriptions sent to this Pharmacy. I got a call from the staff saying that they couldn't fill my oxycodone prescription because they were backordered 3 to 6 months. That's unacceptable. That's a prescription that should be easily filled. It shouldn't be backordered. I asked where else I could find it, and they suggested calling Wegmans, which had it in stock and filled it very easily. I don't understand how a pharmacy could not have a prescription that is so common and needed when someone has surgery, like I did. They filled the other three prescriptions I had sent in for different things during my first couple of months. However, when you can't fill a simple prescription like that, you quickly switch to a place that can fill everything, and that's where I am now. I can't in good conscience recommend using Choice Pharmacy because they let me down at a time when I needed them the most.

Just wanted to leave this review to rave about her and to wish her luck with school! And also, my engraving and stethoscope turned out great! You call them and they say if they answer the phone oh you want it filled or that we out of stock and don't know when it is coming in. Our prescriptions are on auto refill and they don't fill them on time. I know their computer must show them that a medication is coming up for a refill and should alert them to fill it or order it so it would be ready on the date it supposed to be picked up. Today the pharmacy closed at 6pm and I started calling them and three times the phone rang for 15 minutes with the computer generated voice saying they are one with another customer and would be with us shortly. Then the phone goes to a regular ring and then says they are having problems wit their phone and hangs up. I then called the for the manager and they answered and transferred to the pharmacy and again no answer and it hangs up again. In the past I have called the pharmacy and was on the phone for over an hour and then I drove to the store and got in line and when i got to the counter the person said can i help you and i said can you answer the phone. While standing in the line the phone was steady ringing and not one person in the pharmacy was on or answering the phones. If you want good customer service go to another pharmacy for you prescriptions. As soon as our insurance allows us to go somewhere else we will never go to a Walgreens again. If possible i would give them a minus 5 star review

Surprisingly, this time, I was met with a very polite friendly young lady named Sarah. Of all the times I've been there, they've always seen my insurance card, nobody ever put my information into the system. Sarah took her time and did so and my medication was ZERO CO PAY LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE! I was wondering why was I paying so much for my medication when I never pay that much for it. And then to wait so long when I'm in pain. All of a sudden, the pharmacist wants to play nice with me. Oh no, it ain't happening with me lady, because I heard you back there forgetting to put the label on my medication and I was missing a medication and if I had not checked my bag, I would've gotten all the way home and not had the main medication that I needed. I'm not even from Maryland and I don't know my way around this place. Walgreens has caused me the biggest inconvenience ever and you owe me money for not checking my insurance.
