When I first moved to the area just a few months ago, I chose this pharmacy as my top option based on its high ratings and positive reviews. But that changed in an instant, and they are no longer my number one pharmacy. I was having surgery, and I had my prescriptions sent to this Pharmacy. I got a call from the staff saying that they couldn't fill my oxycodone prescription because they were backordered 3 to 6 months. That's unacceptable. That's a prescription that should be easily filled. It shouldn't be backordered. I asked where else I could find it, and they suggested calling Wegmans, which had it in stock and filled it very easily. I don't understand how a pharmacy could not have a prescription that is so common and needed when someone has surgery, like I did. They filled the other three prescriptions I had sent in for different things during my first couple of months. However, when you can't fill a simple prescription like that, you quickly switch to a place that can fill everything, and that's where I am now. I can't in good conscience recommend using Choice Pharmacy because they let me down at a time when I needed them the most.

I have had no problem filling my prescription anywhere else. I have been going to that pharmacy for literally decades, but since it has changed ownership, the pharmacist has been rude, and I have been having trouble getting prescriptions filled. For example, I asked for a prescription to be transferred and delivered three days ago. They called me today around 11am and told me that my prescription was ready. I reminded them that I asked for the prescription to be delivered. They claim they tried to call me two days ago. I know that they didn't, because the call was not listed on my phone's call log. In addition, I wanted to know why they were calling me when I had already arranged for them to deliver the prescription, why wasn't it just delivered? To add insult to injury, they then told me that the delivery driver had already left and that they would not be able to deliver it until Monday. This is pain medication! When I spoke to the pharmacist who said his name was Muhammad, first, he said he was the manager. When I asked to speak to the owner, he then said he was the owner. When I informed him that I had been getting my family's prescriptions there for years and that I was considering going to another pharmacy and filing a complaint because of the consistent poor service since he took over, he very rudely said "go ahead". Then after I hung up, someone for the pharmacy called me to tell me my prescription was ready. I asked who was the manager? He wanted to know why I wanted to know and then he hung up. I am sick, and I am in pain, and I do not need to go through this extra stress. Treating patients like this is unacceptable and unprofessional, and I will be filing a complaint.
