By leaps and bounds CVS Caremark is the largest drug dealer... err... pharmacy benefits manager in the country enjoying a market share just south of 30%. They also seem to have the market cornered on $23 boxes of Cheerios and $19 cans of cashews but that's a nightmare for another day. So, it is of no small concern that this company who insists that I fill prescriptions through the mail thinks efficiency is best served by sending huge ecologically dubious packages of medication in dry-iced Styrofoam coolers. To the cubicle dwellers at CVS corporate this arrangement probably makes more sense than allowing me to pick it up in person at the pharmacy. What do I know. Again, this arrangement makes about as much sense as one of their 100 yard receipts that has killed more trees than napalm or a random infestation of locusts. For decades CVS has simply defied logic and is truly deserving of one star. read more

I've seen nothing but negative comments regarding this store, and agree with all of them. The pharmacy and those who work there are absolutely terrible. Whoever is going drive through today should not be interacting with people. She got my name wrong twice after spelling it out for her, then (no exaggeration) shut the window in my face after saying she has no prescription for me. Repeatedly the lead female pharmacist (sorry I don't know her name) has straightened out issues with renewals or website refills not going through. I cannot thank them enough. CVS is understaffing and overworking their stores, especially the pharma dept. They are so exhausted that they forgot to hand me my insurance card back, then I called to have my aunt grab it since I'm out of town, they put it aside for me. Then the next day she went in to grab it for me and they LOST it!!! Did it get swept into trash? Did someone swipe it to try and use it? I called corporate to complain, NOT about the pharmacists who are exhausted, but the toxic corporate system that created this problem. The pharmacists are overworked and exhausted and making mistakes, they have made mistakes with my medication at other branches. They can't find my card, and no one will help me. I needed to take a Covid test ASAP because of concerns. It was very easy and efficient to schedule my test at this location. Thankfully I was able to get an appointment, nearly all of the CVS near me were already booked and it's been so hard to find a testing site. The process was nice, smooth, & careful. It took less than about 3 minutes to finish & the staff at the drive through window was very friendly. read more

I can't attest to the pharmacy since I don't pick up prescriptions here, and that seems to be where the bulk of the negative reviews come from. However, I visit here often when I drive through 206, and it's probably my favorite CVS by far. Neat, organized, well stocked. There's usually no one at the registers because they have some self checkout lanes in the front, though whenever there's been an issue, someone has promptly assisted me. It's especially nice during the holiday seasons like Halloween and Christmas, the store has really nice seasonal sections with plenty of goodies. My sons' pediatrician sent in 2 prescriptions for my kids July 6, 2023- both for 90 day supply with 3 refills. CVS changed the quantity of each prescription from 90 to 30 without my approval or knowledge. For 2 months I was paying for my youngest 30 day supply out of pocket, and my oldest was covered by insurance. In September, after slowly matching their prescription pick up dates, I came to pick up both my kid's prescriptions. Only the 30 day prescription for my oldest was ready and I was told that my youngest's prescription expired and I needed to have the pediatrician send a new one. My pediatrician told me this was not the case and told me both prescriptions were sent July 6-90 day supply with 3 refills. Next day, new excuse- CVS told me that the prescription for my youngest was put back because I did not pick up in time- and there was no text notification that I had been requesting for the 2 months prior. I also questioned why one kid was covered and the other was not, as they were for the same medication. They first told me that my youngest didn't have insurance on file- I have been filling his prescriptions there for 2 years and they should have told me if this was an issue. I brought in the insurance card and the pharmacy tech told me that they had been using a discount card for him for the past few months instead of using insurance, not because he didn't have insurance on file, but because insurance wasn't covering any more refills. I should have been notified. I already had picked up my oldest's prescription 2 days before so I said I would pay out of pocket for my youngest's prescription, again. The technician put it back with me standing there to pick it up and I had to wait for them to refill it. I got it home and then realized that they filled my oldest's prescription for 30 days, and my youngest's for 90 days. I spent a total of 15 hours on the phone trying to get the 60 pills that my oldest's most recent prescription was short. After speaking with CVS pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and my insurance in circles trying to correct their initial quantity change, CVS filled my oldest's prescription for the 60 pills, but doubled the dosage (0.5 mg to 1 mg). I refused the prescription and told them I would come back for the correct prescription I spent hours confirming. I came back and they filled the correct dosage, but only 30 pills, again. I had to come back again for the correct prescription. This CVS does not care about their customers. They are careless, do not communicate, and alter prescriptions from your doctor without approval. The fact that you cannot trust a pharmacy to correctly fill a prescription, both dosage and quantity is completely unacceptable. read more

I can't believe this pharmacy still exists. I exercised my right to choose my own specialized healthcare provider, after many years of a successful relationship with one located 50 miles away. This relationship also included the seamless refilling of my prescriptions, which are needed to sustain my life. However, after I was told TWICE that CVS would accommodate my current provider, I found that I was "misinformed", i.e. lied to by the CVS pharmacists. Hopefully, I can alleviate this before it becomes a matter of life and death, but I wish CVS would get its act together and at the very least be consistent in their policies. Terrible CVS pharmacy. I don't have the name of the woman who I spoke to, but I called today (September 9, 2019) at 1:04pm to see if this CVS pharmacy had a prescription in stock (since my usual CVS pharmacy wouldn't have my refill in stock until the 13th) and it was the strangest conversation. The pharmacist who answered was a young, Indian woman, and maybe she's new on the job (hopefully), but instead of saying when the prescription would be in stock - or having any semblance of professionalism or decorum - she became extremely awkward, hesitant and abrupt. All she said was, "no... no... um, no it won't be in stock." When she said this, I laughed because the prescription is an extremely common medication so it absolutely will be in stock... I ended up hanging up because she seemed so awkward and inexperienced about answering questions. In short, the whole conversation made me doubt the validity of her credentials and this particular CVS pharmacy in general. As a pharmacist, she should supply answers to easy questions... but instead, she was unsure, incompetent and hesitant about supplying any helpful information. Additionally, I was not hostile or abrasive, just genuinely looking for a cvs pharmacy in the area that carried a particular medication so I could tell my doctor to call it in there. Overall, it was the strangest conversation I've ever had with a pharmacist. She was very unprofessional and did not inspire ANY confidence about pharmacists, their training and/or general knowledge of medications... I would never trust my medication in their hands. This pharmacy has got worse and worse over the years, to the point of being ridiculous. The wait time got longer and longer when I tried to pick up my prescriptions, even after I called in the day before, they had to start refilling AFTER I went in and pick it up. Seriously? Also, their system either went down or got slow/unresponsive from time to time. One time, they shut everybody OUT because of that. What's worse, my recent refill NEVER even got into their system after I called in. I literally ran out pills because of the stupidity of this place. I give this CVS 5 stars because of the 5 star pharmacist named Suzie. I hope I have her name right. I have alot of medication issues with my dog and she always manages to go above and beyond to insure our needs are met and is more than kind about it. She knows our names and needs and even remembers our dog zoeys name. She makes your experience of going to CVS almost that of an old fashioned neighborhood pharmacy from back In the day. This CVS gets a 3-star rating primarily for the simple fact that they're open 24/7. The overnight staff isn't rude or creepy at all; the customer service in the early morning hours is great. No lines either. Heh. I've never used the pharmacy here, but I typically don't have good experiences at any CVS pharmacy. I have visited this store during the day and do agree with other reviewers that during busy times they are understaffed and their customer service is less than pleasant. Do yourself a favor. Absolutely horrible experience with the pharmacy. I came in to have my prescription filled, the pharmacist told me the doctor did not complete all of the information required, I asked if he could call the doctor and he said no because it was a controlled substance and I had to go back and have the doctor hand write the missing portion. Mind you I don't know who has enough time to drive back and forth and coordinate with limited doctor office hours. I blindly believed the pharmacist and awaited until I had a free moment to go back. In the meantime the need for my prescription arrised and I was left without the proper medication. I contacted my doctor to ask him to rewrite the prescription at which he got quite frustrated at the pharmacy for the way they treated me. When I arrived at my doctors office he had the store number ready and called them criticizing them for their actions indicating he had filled prescriptions out this way for 30 years and never had a problem. My doctor repeated word for word what he was filling out, asked what he was missing, and when the pharmacist said what it was he said they could have easy called him, that information wasn't nessesary and this problem only occurs with new pharmacists. During this angry phone call from my doctor he told them they could have easily called him and they could have given me a portion of my prescription to hold me over. He also told them to start filling my prescription because I will be on my way. When I arrived I asked if they started filling it and ofcourse they said no they couldn't and it would take half an hour. All of this interaction occurred with the same pharmacist. The one fair comment I will give is that my prescription did take less than half an hour. This was a brutal lesson learned in not trusting professionals in their occupations. I feel that the pharmacist could have atleAst called my doctor and explained what he said to me for the sake of due diligence. Obviously that wasn't done and I think employees in the health care profession should be slightly more attentive as they are responsible for people's health. The worst Pharmacy department that I have ever used. Customer service is close to non existent. Waited in line for 15 minutes to drop of a prescription and then was told it would be ready in 2 hours. Returned in 4 hours to be on the safe side, again waited in line for 15 minutes then was told it wouldn't be ready until the next day! The staff are always on their phones or deep in conversation with each other. I've even had one person stop during checkout to reply to a text message! The store part is fine; typical CVS - they carry most of what you might need in a pinch and the cashiers are fine. Just stay away from the pharmacy. read more

Just one total chaos. Always disorganized (is anyone running this place?), get ready for an hour long wait in line, they mess up your prescriptions, invent stories of your doctor who "did not OK the medications". Observing this massive staff (how many work there? 10, 20?) colliding with each other and not even looking at customers (I guess customers bother them), it is like a tragic-comic show. Try to call them. You will wait forever with recorded music. Go there in person, get a book and possibly something to lean on (a child? or younger spouse if you have one, definitely a cane, or a walker...), cause you gonna WAIT.....WAIT.....and then you will learn they messed up your order again. I came here for the MINUTE CLINIC to get a couple vaccinations before international travel. I was duly impressed by kindness of the nurse practitioner who just hangs out in the office in the back, waiting for people to come in. She's super nice, friendly, and down-to-earth. this pharmacy has the worst customer service i have ever experienced. A person has to go to school to be a pharmacist. so you think they would know the importance of not skipping doses of your medication, and taking antibiotics as soon as possible when you have an infection. BUT NO. i have not once, had a prescription ready on time. i'll call ahead, sometimes days ahead. only to have to stand there for 30 mins plus while they fill it. i am beyond frustrated with these people. total incompetence, rudeness and laziness. they either need to hire more people to deal with the amount of customers and/or fire all the ones there and start over with a team of people who actually know how to do their jobs. read more

I had tried for over a week to use Walgreens in Hillsborough to purchase a commonly prescribed anti-nausea medication, paid for by Medicare part B. They never were able to complete the paperwork to the satisfaction of Medicare. CVS Pharmacist Justin Klein was able to obtain the approved medication in an hour and one half and that time included travel to and from my home! Additionally he was very kind. read more

Minute clinic complete ripoff. Do not use for anything other than shots. Went thru a whole exam/interview only to be told the could prescribe only a very small number of meds, in this case 3, which means while very sick I did not get treated and will have to pay for a visit (2 because of course I had to lose a lot more time going somewhere else). None of the three work at this point in my life. Limited treatment options should be stated up front before time is wasted and charges for nothing are incurred. Typical CVS ripoff. read more

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I stopped by this location to pick up mailing labels during my lunch hour. I had 2 items and proceeded to wait by the one register that did not contain a "Next register please" sign. It seems there was only one person working there by the name of Tejal. She ignored me initially and decided to assist a young man who was having trouble with the photo machine. She then yelled out that she will ring up at the photo center. As I began to lift my items from the counter a lady with a cart full of items pulled up to the photo center and began placing her items on the counter. To my horror, Tejal began assisting her, ignoring me once again. I decided to speak and said "excuse me, i was here first." Tejal held up her hand as if to scold me and told me to calm down and to wait. Before she proceeded to assist the other customer, she looked over and saw the enraged look on my face as i told her that "i'm kind of in a rush," at which point she yells "FINE" and reaches for my items. She angrily rings me up while giving me a disgusted look the entire time as if i'm the person that was rude in this scenario. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION, IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME! read more

This CVS pharmacy is run by a pharmacist who denies his patients the confidentiality that they are entitled to, and the web site customer service cannot supply complaining customers with sufficient anonymity to protect them from further persecution. As a woman, I feel that I have been publicly humiliated by manager Vivek Joshi and made to feel excessively vulnerable and antagonized by his harsh words and threats, all spoken within earshot of other pharmacists and CVS customers, violating my assumed right to privacy. When I called the store to inquire about a simple clerical issue, such as the available inventory of a particular prescription I wish to have filled, I was met with angry words, harsh tones, threats, and personal attacks. In addition, when I speak to other pharmacists over the phone, who are all completely helpful, understanding, and pleasant, I can often hear "Dr." Joshi complaining about me in the background, which is only one example of his entirely unprofessional and aggressive behavior towards me and my family that I have experienced over the last year. I rely on this CVS to provide me with a number of prescriptions that allow me to enjoy professional, social, and reproductive health, all of which are threatened when a pharmacist like "Dr." Joshi does not provide patients like myself with answers to questions that we are entitled to ask, and the privacy that we expect our medical professionals to provide us with. When I complain to customer service representatives and request anonymity, I have been met with even more unwarranted retaliation from the store manager, and potentially dangerous,aggression from medical "professionals" like Mr. Joshi, who is supposed to be a member of our community that we can trust. There are, of course, serious consequences when medications are not taken as prescribed by medical doctors. This man gives me my flu shots. He sells me my vitamins and band aids. But he won't answer simple questions about the availability of medications that could result in seizure if not taken as directed by a physician. If you have questions or concerns about your prescriptions, complications with other medicines, or are expecting a direct and clear answer regarding the filling of your prescribed medications... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

I'm happy to share an opinion that is different from the others so far. This CVS has a rather small footprint but is impressively stocked. I find the customer service quite good in contrast to other reviewers. I am almost always greeted when I enter the store and they usually ask if they can help.I haven't gotten prescriptions filled here so I cannot comment on that process but I did use their photo services. If you need photos printed out, go ahead and download their app (assuming the photos are on your phone). It was incredibly easy to pick the photos I wanted printed and have them sent directly to the store. It was really easy and I was happy that I didn't have to deal with a password nor did I have to pay through the app. I simply sent them a picture via app and voila it went to the store. I slipped back to the 90's and called to make sure that they received them and indeed they did in just a few minutes. They were not busy so I was able to pick them up within an hour. I am really happy this store is in the neighborhood. I haven't had to use the 24 hour availability but it is nice to know that it is there. Overall, I am quite happy with this store. read more

What an awful pharmacy. The staff are rude and nasty. I stopped in midday to pick up a prescription I had called in and was told the wait would be at least a half hour. No apology, no anything except expecting customers to just take it. Not the first bad experience but definitely my last here. It's like they hate their customers. Pharmacy to be avoided. Horrific service at the pharmacy. I hope that other CVS pharmacies in my area are better managed. This one is hopeless, even my family doctor suggested that we should not use it. There were so many mismanaged drug orders that the doctor said that we should switch to another place. Today was the xth time when a needed medication that was supposed to be ready, was not only not ready, but the pharmacy staff was lying as usual that "they never received an order from the doctor's office", (other times they lie "your insurance has not approved refill yet"). They said that they have to contact my doctor about this refill etc etc. I called the dr.'s office, and they confirmed that on Friday an electronic order for prescription was sent to the pharmacy. I conveyed this information to the head pharmacist, Verina A. (she refused to give me her last name) who was giving me again a tall story why there is no trace of the drug ordered. I asked her to put me on hold to contact my doctor's office. This ping-pong lasted a few hours, we were supposed to leave for a trip that was being postponed, and I let the pharmacy staff know about it. Finally the pharmacist told me that they drug was ready, it was around 3pm, she said the doctors "just ordered it" - she was obviously lying, since I called the dr.'s office again, and they laughed that this pharmacy always says that it was somebody else at fault. I told the pharmacist, that I can pick it up in 10 minutes, but she said that she was sorry but the prescription would be ready only after 6 pm. She knew that she was ruining my trip, and she did not make any effort to make up for the mistake that her staff obviously committed, and fill it right away. When I was insisting that we needed a medication right away, she HANGED UP. I am not sure how this staff was given a pharmacy in Princeton to run, and why after reading so many 1-star negative reviews CVS is not replacing this crew with honest and diligent team that can serve this great community. read more
