When you finally get someone on the line, they don't listen to your request. I advised the agent that I needed to report a patient's death so they can close the account. The agent proceeded to ask me what prescription I was calling for to have filled. I had to repeat and explain again the reason for my call. Then she.said the patient's file will be notated. I hope she actually notates the file and things are appropriately closed out on their end.

i used the cvs pharmacy on bennetts mills my whole life cause that's what my family used, and when…read morecvs stopped taking my insurance about half a year ago and i saw the sign on my way to a doctors appointment in the hackensack building saying the pharmacy is welcoming cvs pharmacy patients due to the insurance, that's when i switched to hackensack pharmacy; lets just say thank GOD i did lol i didn't even know there was a pharmacy in this building or that it took my insurance, so finding this out is probably one of the best things that's happened to me cause this place is great; not to mention it's within walking distance! the pharmacists here actually seem like they care and want to help you, and even better; they're actually competent at their jobs! after being at that cvs pharmacy for so long, i just thought all pharmacies were that bad, so switching to here has been great. i was worried at first about there not being an app for the pharmacy but the text notifications work just fine there almost never being a line of more than one person when i'm in here compared to in cvs where the lines were frequently more than 4 people every time i went not even counting the people in the drive through; amazing. being able to wait in the lobby where the bagel place is or walk over to dollar tree while i wait for the prescription to be ready is so convenient, and the wait time is so much faster than cvs too, sometimes at cvs id have to come back the next day and i've never had to do that here i like that the pharmacy is also like a mini shop with a bunch of not just medical/pharmaceutical stuff you can buy, but candy and snacks too; the prices are kinda inflated for most items though unfortunately so i don't see why i'd buy stuff here unless i needed something specific i like going in here (also i love the small blue pill bottles they use)

I've had better experiences at busy chain pharmacies than this so-called "friendly neighborhood pharmacy." Honestly, I'm switching to CVS. It's closer, faster, and at least when employees have attitudes there, management actually steps in and fixes it. Here, the bad attitudes are apparently encouraged because nobody does anything about it. And CVS calls you to tell them they have your medications and then call you when they're ready. I was looking for pork belly and did not feel like going all the way to Edison, NJ. I saw their pork belly beautifully cut, but it was not as thick as I would like. I saw the sign indicating I could ring and speak to the butcher. After briefly asking, he cut it to the perfect thickness, and I will be able to make my sticky braised pork belly. They also carry a vast array of spices, so I was able to obtain my Five Spice here. Before I forget, they have an amazing cheese section. Some are precut, and there is a person at the counter who can cut you a fresh cheese wedge for charcuterie. Overall, a great experience at the local grocery store.

The variety of foods is a great selection. I think they could improve their health food section with more options, I have better luck in the Aberdeen store with a good selection of health foods. The cooked food is all excellent and lots of options. We also love the fresh coffee beans, it smells so good in this section of the store. We switched our Pharmacy to this Shoprite as well, and the Pharmacist, Shefali Patel, is the best Pharmacist we have ever worked with. She goes out of her way to help every patient and definitely prioritizes her customers and their needs. She is an exceptional provider.
