However, my experience with the pharmacy was disappointing. There was a long line, and after waiting for 15 minutes, the clerk informed me that it would take an hour for my prescription for gout medication to be filled. This seemed excessive for simply counting out pills. The way I was told this was quite curt, which added to my frustration. Another employee suggested expediting the process, but the clerk declined and told me to come back in an hour. This CVS is really one of the worst ones especially due to the pharmacy department. The people who work in that department especially are very unkind and unhelpful. There's been many incidents where I walked up to the counter clearly with questions but left with even more questions than I arrived with because they were not at all helpful. When a drug you were prescribed is not available or in stock, there are no further steps on their part. They will not assist you in finding another pharmacy that has it in stock nor will they do anything else further. It is extremely frustrating especially when you're dealing with someone who needs the drug in a timely manner and is in chronic pain due to cancer. Just wish the staff would be a bit more empathetic and helpful! read more

Had an appointment here today for a vaccine and was told the the pharmacy was behind. Okay that's fine no problem. I patiently sat and just waited for my name to be called. 40 minutes go by and I'm stilling sitting and another customer walks in and asks how behind they are and she was told. She then said her appointment time is approaching (mind you her appointment time is for 45 minutes later than mine). She was on the phone right next to me saying that she was going to try to get squeezed in early. I'm not sure who this person knew but all of a sudden she's standing outside the vaccine door asking the nurse to to let her go in next quickly. Let me ask, what's the purpose of an appointment if friends of staff are going to jump ahead of us? It turns out that someone who's appointment was even before mine noticed that this woman walked in and got seen right away. The nurse was really nice when I got in there but ultimately I was seen an hour after my appointment tome. I just find it to be really unfair and poor customer service. read more

Confusion reigns here in the pharmacy. There is a middle age pharmacy woman who is always skirting the edge of rude. She has no people skills. Obviously, she feels overworked and hates dealing with customers . I am always respectful with people, but this woman is demeaning and makes coming here a very uncomfortable experience. I have never had this in the past at other pharmacie. Quite the opposite when dealing with people behind the counter who called you by name, smiled and were helpful and caring in every way. This pharmacy staff just looks on the customer relationship as a burden and it is a shame. My husband wants to change pharmacies, but this is convenient. The pharmacy here has gone downhill. And the worst thing - nobody cares. Corporate doesn't care, so employees don't care. The service here was once phenomenal and personal. I have never been a fan of CVS and this one allows me to continue my tradition of disliking it. My wife had an infected finger from a cut. She wanted to use an old school soak of boric acid. I went to the pharmacy department and askedthem if they had it. You would have thought I asked them how to split an atom!!! Bewildered looks, "what is it for" etc.... They paged the manager to ask him. He didn't respond for 15 minutes!! Only to say they didn't have it!!! One redeeming value to this place is that they have a minute clinic here. A confused group of people, that's for certain. Was told one "clinic" had the 2 vaccines I needed. Upon arrival (minutes later) was informed only one of the two was available. The helpful nurse phones later that day telling me there was a "clinic" about 45 minutes away that had the 2nd vaccine. Great, I thought. Trying not to be fooled twice by CVS, I called when about 1/2 way there, to be told they didn't have the vaccine, and there was none anywhere in the state. Tried to reconnect to the nurse who told me they had the vaccine (first "clinic") only to find out they don't have "outside phone access". If you are lucky, the pharmacy folks may be able to send a message to the "clinic" and have them get back to you. In my case they were able to connect to the first clinic, different nurse, who then called the second CVS, to confirm that they had the vaccine. I googled the "clinic" number and spoke to someone several states away who confirmed they didn't have and of the requested vaccine at any of the "clinics". Now clearly, it was impossible for me to ascertain who was telling the truth. Inventory control is not rocket science, but is evidently beyond the capability of the "clinic'. I'm here in "clinic" Nr 2 for an hour and a half now, waiting to here if I've totally wasted this second trip. Would recommend using CVS for what it does best... selling dog food, make up supplies and cheap flimsy toys. Leave health care to the professionals. read more

If you ask for brand name prescriptions ONLY, they will give you a runaround and tell you they don't have it. And it'll take an eternity to get. And if they really don't wanna sell you the brand name prescription, their rude manager Stan Kopylov will laugh while telling you that the brand name isn't available at ALL. Really? That's why Rite Aid was able to get it for me. Bottomline: CVS is a a crappy pharmacy that only pushes generic drugs that don't work as effectively as the brand name drugs. They'd rather maximize their profits than care about their customer's health/needs. Avoid this place. If you're searching for a friendly neighborhood pharmacy, look elsewhere. read more

I have no idea what I was thinking with this place. Biggest waste of money EVER. I caught my fiancee's bronchitis by default on a trip to NJ/NY this weekend, and knowing my body and it's reaction to it I decided to go to the nearest minute clinic for some antibiotics so I wasn't nearly suffocating. Big fucking mistake. I guess I got lucky with the one near my house in Altamonte Springs, Florida, because the one and only time I was there the friendly and honest doctor gave me a Z-Pack and told me to fill it at the Publix for free antibiotics. This chick at the cvs refused to give me any antibiotics. I even told her I knew what was going to happen, and this was a recurring thing for me and I would start vomiting from coughing so hard (I had already began vomiting in the morning) and I needed a Z-Pack to fight off the infection. Of course, since she's the ~doctor~ she knows what's best and refuses, gives me tessalon pearls - which, will honestly work, but only if your cough isn't making you vomit every five goddamn minutes (worst drive home of my life - I had to change my clothes twice because I unexpectedly puked all over myself from a coughing fit) and in conjunction with antibiotics. I mean, really, bitch, was it so hard to prescribe it? No? Okay. Well, basically I paid $79 dollars for this woman to tell me to take a bunch of nyquil and benadryl and afrin and "wait it out." Yeah, fuck that noise. I tried. I really did. I was like, "okay, i'll take her advice, maybe i'm overreacting." Nope. I know my body. Coughing fits like crazy, vomit everywhere, worst 16 hour car ride of my life. I felt like I was suffocating and even my inhaler wasn't helping. Fiancee even considered us stopping at a random hospital in North Carolina just FOR antibiotics. But i'm uninsured, so, no thanks. THANKFULLY when I got home I had leftover cipro from a previous respiratory issue, so I googled the dose (hey, look, I can be a CVS minute clinic doctor too! I have an internet connection!) for acute bronchitis and when to take it. So far so good, we'll see how I hold up. TLDR: Don't go there if you think you know what's wrong with you. Especially if you're having breathing issues relating to a cold. Go to your primary care physician or a different more reliable walk in clinic. Seriously. These people are like straight out of med school, probably at the bottom of their graduating class, and seem to have zero regard for anyone's actual health. YOU know your body better than a random doctor. Don't pay for something that isn't going to help you. read more

Worst pharmacy in the area. After waiting 20 minutes behind another customer in the drive through the pharmacist tells me she could not include an over the counter cream in my total order. She couldn't take ten steps to the aisle directly in front of her. After waiting 20 minutes in the drive through I should walk into the pharmacy to purchase one additional over the counter medication. Absolute Worst customer service at this location. If my son didn't need the medication that night, I would definitely go right down the road to another pharmacy. I definitely will not be returning. I can take my business elsewhere. read more

Great Store It isn't a second before I enter that I'm greeted and asked if I need any help. The managers are couturier and always willing to open another register when traffic volume is occurring . Very disappointed with the customer service at Marlboro's pharmacy. The RN at minute clinic supposedly sent my prescriptions to another CVS. I was told it would take awhile for them to have it faxed over and that I would receive a text when it is ready. I waited five hours until I called to see if my prescriptions were ready. The woman said that it was not so I called the other CVS to see if they had faxed to Marlboro. They had no idea what I was talking about, so I called Marlboro CVS...again. I was waiting for an antibiotic and an inhaler that I desperately needed. Spoke to a very nice man who said he would have it straightened out and it was ready within ten minutes. What really has me heated is when I called the pharmacist the following day, because I was worried about a side effect with my antibiotic. The pharmacist was rude before I even spoke. She yelled with disgust that she could not hear what I was saying and then belittled me when I mentioned that my mom had a severe reaction to this medicine. I just wanted to clarify that it was okay to take this or to ask for a different antibiotic. This is the first complaint I have ever written about a service. Silly me to think that customers/patients could ask their pharmacist for any questions about prescriptions. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this Minute Clinic. I was traveling for Easter and came down with an ear infection. While I ultimately needed to be referred to an ENT, I have nothing but positive things to say about the care I received from the Nurse Practitioner, Kathleen. She called to follow up the next day to make sure I had gotten in to see a doctor, and when I called her back she thanked me for putting her worrying at ease. I was out of state and away from family, and having someone take the time to check up on me was really refreshing. I hope her bosses know what a great employee they have. read more

Love this CVS. I can walk to this one from my home in less then 3 minutes with my two year old. Everyone is always so sweet, helpful, and quick check out. It's rare that I wait in really long lines and when I do, they open several registers to take care of everyone faster. The pharmacy techs and employees are extremely helpful. Anytime I need to speak to the pharmacist about something, they come over quickly and give me their best and honest opinion on medications and remedies. Cleanliness is A PLUS. I truly never seen anything out of place. I usually don't write reviews, but I just started using yelp and I thought I'd give my first review to a store I frequent often and that actually deserves it. My son loves the cars that cost 5.99 a piece. We have purchased over 60 of those cars. He has quite a collection from the selection of collectibles. We go there often so when he tags along, he grabs anywhere from 1-4 of the cars so it was quite easy to build up his collection and the maker keeps it stock piled with new cars all the time so it never gets old to him. Lastly, it's open 24 hours a day, which is absolutely awesome for those late nights hubby and I want snacks for a late night movie and we don't feel like taking the drive to 7/11. Thank you guys for being awesome! My family appreciates it tremendously. Every CVS is not like this one. Corporate should actually record segments of the day in the store of the employees working, customer service, and cleanliness to show other CVS stores how it should be done. read more

check your prescriptions CAREFULLY. i don't know what the problem is at this location, but the pharmacists here are completely brain dead. i make it a point to go over the dosage and instructions when i drop off orders for medications but they ALWAYS make some kind of error. and if you think you can just go to the other cvs further north on route 9, think again. i brought in an order for antibiotics for my infant daughter (3 mos) and when my husband brought it home i checked it and it was THREE TIMES the dosage written on the script by the doctor. i would change pharmacies if i could, but this is the one my insurance goes through. read more
