Young lady handling the Pharmacy drive up window on Saturday was completely lost, disinterested and not willing to be helpful. There was a question with the price of a new prescription, she offered no explanation, kept walking away to ask the Pharmacist our questions, I presume, then came back and said to wait 5-10 minutes. Fabiola A. needs customer service training. She was extremely rude and disrespectful & continually cut me off while I was speaking. In order to be progressive and prevent an argument, I had to stop speaking while she spoke over me. She gave me a rejection message printout and told me my insurance expired 7 days ago. I knew that was incorrect information. I sat at the drive-thru window to call my insurance company (there were no cars behind me). She told me I had to move because it's a fire hazard for me to be there. How is that possible? Once my insurance company called and told her I had coverage, her whole attitude changed. How bizarre?! Is her customer service influenced by the customer's insurance status? I hope that's not the case. All customers matter and all customers deserve respect. Perhaps I will return to Walgreens where the customer service is consistent. read more

This CVS may not be open 24 hours like the one on Rues Lane, but I find that they have a wider selection of beauty products. Also, I've noticed that the prices for a lot of their items are a little cheaper. I generally go to this location on my way back from the gym, also on Route 18. Considering that CVS emails me a 30% coupon almost every week, plus it's a lot less crowded and easier to navigate than a Walmart or a ShopRite, I'm in here often. The store is clean and the associates are courteous, and don't seem to get annoyed at my admitted thriftiness. As an added bonus, receipts can be emailed to you. No more lost pieces of paper! One time I asked about a specific beauty product that had been out of stock for a while, and the associate suggested I call or come in when the store manager, Dwayne, was in, so he could place a special order for it. I called the next day or so and spoke with him, requesting the item and shade I needed. A few days later, the item, my favorite eyebrow pencil, was in stock. I never knew it was possible for the store to special order an item. What a great perk! read more

I wouldn't think to review a pharmacy on Yelp, but this CVS location requires it. Manisha, the pharmacist, runs the pharmacy professionally and with a personal touch. For a chain pharmacy, you might not expect the pharmacist to greet you with a smile and acknowledge you by name, let alone remember specific details about you. However, Manisha does. The other pharmacist is also very nice. Compared to prior pharmacies I've gone to within this chain, this location is much better and far exceeds my expectations. Wait time is significantly less than other pharmacies. The line at the front of the store is never long, again, a much different experience than other CVS locations I've been to. A+, Rt. 18 location. I won't be going back to the other location in EB again. read more

This CVs is quite small but still has everything a pharmacy should have. A wide variety of medicine, food, drink, and small stuff like clips, and much more. Staff is friendly. There was only one cashier there, but the store was closing for the night. The pharmacy workers are friendly as well, and give good information on medicine. I love how colorful CVS is, as each aisle is marked with a different color. Overall, it's a great pharmacy, and it will have anything you need. read more

I hate to leave negative reviews. This CVS location (380 Rt 18, East Brunswick) caused me physical harm. I was discharged from Raritan Bay Hackensack Meridian and my prescriptions were electronically sent to East Brunswick. The following morning I was on the road to Florida before CVS was open. I spoke with the pharmacist about filling my heart medications as soon as I reached my location in Florida and she said no problem. When I called the CVS in Weeki Wachee, FL there were no prescriptions with the exception of a baby aspirin. I was on the phone with both CVS locations as well as the hospital. CVS in East Brunswick deleted my heart medications and I had nothing! Needless to say the panic and anxiety sent me right back to the hospital in Florida with not only AFIB which NJ diagnosed but AFIB RVR. I spent another 4 days in the hospital. I really should reach out to CVS corporate but what good would it do. Too many uneducated people entering the work place during pandemic with no experience! read more

Their customer service is horrible. Drop off prescription on a Monday was told to come back tomorrow. Gave them a extra day and when I showed up on Wednesday they had not done any of the work on it that they needed 24hrs to do. The lady FABIOLA behind the counter was extremely rude. They insisted that I must take 90 day supply when all was needed was 30 Days. Called insurance company and was told they could indeed give a 30 day prescription. Just don't! Used them for some time. Past month all I hear is they had a glitch in their system. First they refill a prescription they just filed 3 times and send me a message to come pick it up. Medicine was not on auto refill and each time I was informed they didn't know what happened and they'd take it off. Thought it was better. Now I call I'm the refill using the automated system and when it's not filled am told there's a glitch in the system. I'm told again they don't know what happened. read more

This place is fairly new. I almost forget it's even around. Stopped in because I was looking for a certain eyebrow pencil and couldn't find it anywhere else. CVS didn't have it either. Anyway, whatever. It's a drug store. What can you really say??? The staff always greets you when you walk in which is nice. Doesn't ever seem to be anyone in the store when I'm there. Weird. Also, I feel CVS is more overpriced than one of the other drug stores. I do think it's kinda cool that they no longer sell cigarettes. Kinda silly that they or any other pharmacy does... I've had lots of experiences with different CVS pharmacies - some good, some poor. This particular pharmacy is managed terrific. First, the pharmacy staff are all very courteous. They follow up with you and/or your doctor and notify you when your rx is ready. Also, majority of the time they have in stock what you need so you are not waiting days on end. read more

Terrible wait at pharmacy. Rude staff. Also not to mention CVS lies to employees. They need to hire real pharmacists. Sitting in line for over 15 mins with only one person in front of me is ridiculous and there is ALWAYSSSSS a line. I don't know what these people are doing in there . I was suffering through an asthma attack and this pharmacy expeditiously filled the script within minutes of my doc sending it. The whole team here is super friendly and courteous. I'm glad that this is my neighborhood CVS! read more

I have the flu, my doctor called in a prescription and when I arrived they said they don't have it in stock. Told me they could get it tomorrow! That doesn't really help since I have the flu. As they were calling other pharmacies I could see what I needed on the counter. When I asked their response was "oh we didn't see that there". Wtf? They obviously have terrible inventory operations. Besides that I can't understand 1 word either of the ladies were saying due to language barrier on their part! I will not be going to this pharmacy ever again and I will tell everyone I know as well! read more

Husband's pain meds get refilled every 30 days. The last refill was January 8. So, they wait until today (Feb. 8 ) to reorder them and they won't be in until Thursday. That's 4 days with no meds for Stage 4 Bone cancer pain. I asked the girl what he is supposed to do until then and she said "He'll have to wait." Oh, and she tells me that they only place orders on Monday. Say wha?????? And why would an order placed on Monday not be delivered until Thursday - three days later? Are they using the Pony Express? Luckily, his oncologist wrote him an emergency prescription for the three days and we are switching pharmacies. There is something really off about this place.. read more

Excellent customer service. As soon as my husband and I walked in, we were greeted and advised to let them know if we needed any help. We went to another CVS store closer to our home prior to this one in search for an item that their website stated was available, but the store refused to price match their online price. Dwayne, Store Manager, of this East Brunswick CVS took the time to view the online process I went through on my iPhone and confirmed that their website was inaccurately displaying information (ie Out of Stock item yet it was clear they had it available in store). This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The techs are clueless and rude and the pharmacists here are beyond rude. I have had a horrible experience every time I have to get a prescription. I keep trying because it's so close to my house, but honestly it is actually STRESSFUL to pick up a prescription . I am going to have go back to Rite Aid even though it's further, but never had an issue. I'm going to contact CVS corporate tomorrow in hopes that they still care about customer experience. Sad thing is that the store employees are quite friendly and try to be helpful, pharmacy department is horrid. read more

My fiance and I have been going to this pharmacy for almost a year now, him maybe longer and we love it! We get a few medications monthly and never have a problem with the staff.
