Ordered pictures for the holiday and like any walgreens turn around time on pictures is rather quick. Got my notification that they were ready so to the store I went. I arrived and the manager on duty (the women everyone on here speaks so fondly of) tells me shes to busy and I'm going to have to wait. So she begins taking all the customers that were on line after me and when she realizes I'm not leaving the store she quickly comes over and says how long ago did you order?? No way they're ready! Yea you have 5 others ahead of you, not ready ok! I told her I was notified they were ready though and she said nope not here you better come back tomorrow or something. Threw out my back while traveling. It happens not infrequently because of a genetic musculoskeletal condition and these events can be disabling. My dr sent an electronic rx for the meds that he usually does (pain & muscle relaxer) and they refused to fill it. They claimed that it was because of the "Good Faith" dispensing law and then proceeded to cite requirements that are not actually in the law or Walgreens documented policies. The only actual requirement I didn't meet was being from out of town, which the law allows as long as there's a reasonable explanation (which there is: traveling.) In other words, they made a choice not to give it to me. It wasn't mandated by Walgreens. I get being nervous because of the opioid lawsuits but this is ridiculous and capriciously depriving people with legitimate needs is a dereliction of duty. Corporate self-preservation shouldn't trump a prescription written by a licensed physician in good standing with the DEA. Oh. And, not only did they not fill it, they put some kind of alert in the system that prevented any other pharmacy from filling it, too. I hope they feel terrible because this is a really immoral and self-serving abuse of a well-meaning law and they are abandoning a patient to suffer. I may need to delay my return home because I cannot get on a plane in this condition. read more

I had to decrease the rating from a sorry 2 to an abysmal 1. It was bad enough how they didn't run my insurance for a medication that I had coverage for.. and then didn't correct it after brought to their attention... but then they gave me a bad gift card???!!! I received credit over a year ago for something and it was given to me in the form of their gift card. I finally decided to go in to use the card and..... it didn't work? When I explained why I had the gc in the first place, I was asked if I had the receipt.. NO, I do not have the receipt from many, many months ago.. I trusted that if I were given the card from the manager that it would work...? I was then given a blank look with a shrug.. then asked how I wanted to pay for the item that I was purchasing.. I said no thank you and walked out. Walgreens will not be getting another cent of my money. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this location altogether! read more

Made online appointment for myself and my wife in the afternoon for early am next day, for second COVID booster. Showed up on time and NO shots available. According to pharmacist their delivery was cancelled, and this information was known the day before. Apparently they only notified customers who booked their appointments before 12 AM day before. No apology!!! You'd think 1. they could have notified all booked customers regardless and or: 2. Blocked customers from making appointments once they received info that vaccines would not be delivered. Sloppy and uncaring. Could be a bad situation for someone who took off from work, or for a person who has to arrange transportation. read more

And told me it would take 15 to 20 minutes after a 1/2 hour I went to the register and was told it wasn't ready yet And they would text me when it was. Then about 20 minutes later they told me they didn't have it in stock. By this time my Doctors office was closed. So now I am home in terrible pain and suffering. So I'm going to the ER. Absolutely terrible-0 stars. I never leave reviews, but figured this may save someone else the headache or maybe management will read it and make changes. I have been using this pharmacy for 10+ years and never had problems until the past few years. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt with COVID and labor shortages, but it's clear that their problems are more than that. The pharmacy department is so incredibly disorganized, there's no communication (both with patients and among staff), and awful customers service. My doctor sends prescriptions electronically in 3 month increments and for some reason this pharmacy can't figure it out. They have, on multiple occasions, filled the wrong month, which has left me without a valid prescription for the following month because they can't read a date. For the past year there has been a shortage of one of my prescriptions, which is clearly not the pharmacy's fault. HOWEVER, when I go to fill the prescription and they cannot fill because of a stock issue, they do not fill it or even call when receiving a shipment. Most recently, I called them and found out they do have the medicine, but since the date is past the prescription's expiry date it can't be filled -- this makes no sense considering I placed the order well before the expiration date! Luckily my doctor has been amazing with resending prescriptions because of their errors & their inability to locate prescriptions in their system; she also said that she has never seen this many issues with a pharmacy before! I'm not a confrontational person and have always been very calm & polite when expressing my concerns to the pharmacy staff, who come off as aloof/disinterested and essentially tell me that it's my problem and do nothing to correct or redress their mistakes. Walgreens--PLEASE invest in improving your systems, or if the systems aren't the problem, invest in training your staff to utilize those systems effectively. read more

While, I was able to find the medication I was looking for, I remember this Walgreens differently. I've always found the staff surprisingly friendly. They always give me a warm smile when I walk in, and ask me if I need anything. The lines move quickly as well. However I was quite surprised that their medicines, were only half a mile long. And, everything else, was either snacks, food or drink. I'm expecting for a drugstore that their drugs would be the maximum thing they would sell there. This is much smaller than CVS, which is where I think I'll do my drug shopping from now on. read more

This pharmacy has the most unprofessional condenscending employeed I have ever experienced in my life. . I myself work in the medical field as a Radiologic Technologist so i know customer service. I would say worst bedside manner but they never spent a day actually taking care of people. I am diagnosed with Attention deficit disorder and anxiety. Every time i go to fill my prescriptions which just to clarify dont include any pain medication opiod or anything related they always ID me which is fine but when i am filling an antidepressant and you see me every month you ask for my drivers license. Today August 29th 2019 i had my worst experience yet. I take a antidepressant for which my Dr. gives me 4 refills. Now the pharmacy sent me a text that asked me if i wanted to refill now this is all automated. This was on 8/21/2019 then i later that day received another automated message stating the prescription was delayed and that the pharmacy was working on it which logically you would assume if they needed authorization from my Dr. for the refill. Now today is 8/29/19 a full week after i received the text that they were working on it. I go to the pharmacy today and the pharmacy tech not even pharmacist stated that the Dr. had denied the refill. My issue here is if you send me a automated message stating you were working on it and then it was denied then wouldnt you think the pharmacy would atleast alert me that the refill was declined. However this pharmacy and specifically this pharmacy tech told me when i came in that the medicine had been denied and i needed to contact my dr. to figure out the discrepancy. When i asked her why the pharmacy never called the Dr. or even notified me of this situation she told me in the most nasty condenscending manner that it was my job to call the dr. not the pharmacy. Now mind you again im not talking about a controlled substance it was Paxil antidepressant and ive been without it for a few days because i had no time to pick it up before that due to my work schedule. Now im going through withdrawal from not having this and this tech is just looking at me and treating me as if i was a pain seeker. You do not treat people in the medical field this way regardless.Its humiliating to be treated like im some kind of derelict and mind you this happens every time i fill any medication there. No compassion no work ethic. I always dread coming to this particular pharmacy due to this prevailing overall attitude and im done. Im never filling a script there for anything because they would probably ID me for a damn vitamin supplement. Now this goes out to that specific pharmacy tech at the front desk. Heres some advice know your role because your not even a pharmacist your a god damn technician I am a radiologic technologist which means xray tech I outrank you in any possible medical situation and my position is extremely more prestigous then your job of basically a receptionist with a the worst customer service possible. Know your role you insignificant nobody that cant rationalize anything . You act like your reading from a goddamn textbook and you have no reasoning like a cyborg . I patronize this particular Walgreens often to buy hair and body care products. I usually shop there on my way from work between 4 and 6 pm; a nice time since the store is all but empty. It came to my attention however that whenever I am in the hair products aisle for more than five minutes on any given day, I hear this disturbing call for..." Customer service needed in the antacid aisle; and only seconds later, some store employee shows up where I am shopping to apparently shift products on the selves, looking for some unidentified produce, or pretending to be concerned for my Walgreens shopping experience. The last time I was there, 3/2/2020, The same disturbing call for "Customer service needed in the antacid aisle" rang out through the store and only seconds later some employee showed up in my aisle pretending to adjust shelves. Absolutely disturbed by her presence I asked her why she was there and not in the 'antacid aisle'. She said she was only there to check products, but there is a lot of theft in the store she said...Now I really need those hair products because my hair was standing on ends. I went to the mgr's desk, asked for the manager, whose name I have forgotten, to ask if this " Customer service needed in the antacid aisle" is a 'code' for someone may be stealing. She said yes, but NOT YOU!, even there was no one in the antacid aisle. Even the person who came to your aisle is a minority, she attempts to assures me; It is incredible that her insensitivity, poor customer response, and racist approach escapes her! The manager never suggested who in the store initiates those codes, why or when... At that point I had had enough. I was becoming enraged so I just left, suggesting that it must be my hypersensitivity, not their 'code' that was the problem! Walmart is equal distance from my house, so this problem is easy to solve for me! By the way, I only gave you one star because I could not give you -5 stars. read more

Zero stars it it were possible. My vet called in a prescription 4:00 yesterday. My husband went to go pick it up at 7:00, he came home and said they said they have no record of the script. I called them to confirm and waited 27 minutes for the pharmacy to answer the phone since there were "2 calls ahead" of mine, as their recording stated. Finally someone answered and I told them my vet called in the script at 4:00 please double check. They said maybe she left a voicemail and put me on hold. I waited another 8 minutes then hung up and figured they were busy with the after-work crowd and will try again in the morning. I called at 10:00 again and once again I waited 25 minutes for them to answer because again, two calls were ahead of mine. A person finally answered and told me the prescription was in and will be ready in 30 minutes. I drove in to the store two hours later and they told me that the meds won't be in stock until tomorrow. Why couldn't they either tell me this on the phone or call me within that 30 minute time period to tell me it is not available? I called CVS in Target and immediately spoke to a pharmacist. Efficient enough prescription processing. Great for recurring scripts. Occasional issues with new scripts/new insurance...but better than other pharmacies I've used. Rare our-of-stock on meds. (Issue that turned me off from CVS). The express pickup window seems to be an idea that never took-off...but they keep the signage up.(shrug) read more

The pharmacist told me she will order it and it will be here on Friday at noon guaranteed! no doubts about it. I show up late afternoon Friday still with pain. Glad that I was supposed to pick up my prescription and my prescription wasn't even ordered The only thing the pharmacist did was shrugged her shoulders at me with no answer of why. Walgreens pharmacy in E.B. is the worst nightmare a person can have because they are not only disorganized when it comes to filling up prescriptions but their personnel agree in becoming liars. They don't call your doctor ahead of time for refillings and when they are caught in a lie, they lie more. They have the worst reviews all over the internet and do absolutely nothing to change their behavior. It is because they don't care !!! so why do you support them by signing up with their prescription plan. They should not be in the business. I went to pick up medication and asked one of the three pharmacists questions. The pharmacist rolled her eyes and didn't want to be bothered. I decided to just go home because I thought my questions were silly. When I opened my nebulizer package, the mask was meant for a child. I called the store back, the pharmacist told me that I could use the pediatric mask by holding the mask to the side ( which I would not get the full inhalation of the medication that I needed or that he would replace it with an adult mask)I called my doctor to let them know what happened. My doctor disagreed with me using a pediatric mask and said that she would prescribe me an inhaler. I went back to the store and when I explained to the pharmacist that my doctor and I decided to go in another direction and that it would be best for me to use an inhaler over the nebulizer, the pharmacist told me that I could not return the machine. I explained to the pharmacist that I couldn't use the machine and reminded him of the new direction that my doctor and I were going with and that the nebulizer couldn't be used. The pharmacist insisted that I still couldn't return the nebulizer because it was an just an inconvenience and open medication can't be returned due to FDA regulation. I completely understand the state regulation, but there was no return policy or regulation policy on my receipt or on my medication. I was just told that I had to speak to the pharmacy manager. I spoke to the shift manager and explained to the pharmacist that before medication is given to a customer, the right one should be given to the customer, also that it wasn't up to the pharmacist to judge a return based on convenience or not. Lastly, the pharmacist negligently advised me to use a pediatric mask knowing very well that I would not have gotten the full medication. I am grateful for the shift manager, but I am still upset with the lack of service from the pharmacy department. These guys are supposed to be very well educated on the medications that are given. This would have never happened if they paid more attention to what they provided. Even more frustrating is that they could have issued a refund without making me go through another administrator. While their hours are convenient there service is not great. I advise everyone to be careful! read more
