Extremely disappointed with the pharmacy. Prescription was called in at 8:10 pm from ambulatory surgery and at 8:45 when we arrived to pick up the safe was locked and couldn't be opened. but the pharmacy closes at 9pm. Not good business. This CVS Pharmacy has drastically gone downhill. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you are greeted by garbage and potholes galore. Inside, the store is clean but under stocked. Many of the shelves are empty. You would think during cold and flu season that this would be a top priority. The cashier was pleasant enough, and knew how to apply ExtraBucks coupons! CVS Pharmacy - Horrible parking lot... - Drugstores Near Me - PATCHOGUE, New York

Been trying to get my meds for the last two days. First day one person was in front of me in the drive thru. Took 32 minutes! Got up to window finally and lo and behold of course my meds weren't ready even though it was three hours since the dr called it in. They said come back in an hour. I'm not living in this town anymore but ok. I'll hang out at dollar tree Came back in an hour and the drive thru line was literally wrapped around the building !!! I waited 10 minutes on line. Cars didn't move. Went inside and it was literally standing room only ! Said ok- I'll just come back tmmrw. Came back next day. Super long line. Been waiting here for nearly 20 min with only one car moving. This is unacceptable in every way!! If you need more help- GET IT. This is ludicrous. Changing pharmacies !! read more

It's unbelievable how bad the customer service is at the pharmacy. I was told my prescription was ready. I came in, it took over 20 minutes for them to help the TWO people in line ahead of me. When I got to the front of the line I was told the person working the register couldn't help me because she was not allowed to handle controlled substances. She looked at me like I was just supposed to leave. There were SEVEN employees working in the pharmacy at this time. I asked if someone else could help me (by handing me my prescription that I was told was ready and waiting for me), and I was told it would be about 15 minutes before they could help me. I sat there for over a half hour while they chit chatted, laughed, and joked. I asked again if I could please have my prescription, and received a nasty attitude. All in all it took over an hour for someone to pick up my prescription off the shelf, walk 5 feet, and hand it to me. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not come here. read more

I don't know why this location has negative reviews. I've relocated from towns and states and always use CVS. This location is fantastic and holds up to the CVS standards. I very OFTEN get scripts filled and refilled for myself and my large family. I've had scripts transferred from other pharmacies and old scripts refilled whenever I need them. This location is actually my favorite CVS from an array of towns or states I've been. The Pharmacists really do the work, their polite, and if you go after work or at the last hour before close yes there's a wait ( not exceptionally longer than anywhere else at 5pm). I go in the afternoon. Never a wait. And I only use the drive thru. I've been using the CVS Pharmacy for 3 years now. read more

My girls were leaving for a trip to Europe the next day and needed a COVID-19 booster shot. I brought the them to their appointment at Wallgreens pharmacy for the booster shot. Unfortunately, their mother had lost their original COVID shot cards, which they had been given at a clinic that no longer exists. The pharmacist at Wallgreens was not able to help us. We then tried CVS Pharmacy in East Patchogue, NY. At first the pharmacist was not sure if she would be able to help us, but did some research with what little information we had. She gradually was able to gather the information necessary to re-create the original COVID-19 shot cards. Then gave my girls their booster shots. Thank you CVS Pharmacy!!! read more

I used to come to this CVS two or three times a week, but unfortunately I will stop coming here because there are racist employees. Sometimes they ask for identification I show you my passport and they say it is not valid because it is not from the United States, sometimes they get upset that I do not speak English well .., my submission is a store for the public has to Having a friendlier and more attentive people no matter the race or skin color. read more

Architecturally wrong for the town, this is a really ugly cement warehouse of a building that is awkwardly situated at the end of Rt. 112. . . the traffic pattern created is far from an East Main Street ideal and results in a lot of horn blowing and illegal left turns. Construction has already begun on a new CVS, about a mile to the east, on the site of the old Harborside Restaurant (http://www.yelp.com/biz/harborside-restrnt-east-patchogue). Hopefully they tear this building down after that one opens. For some reason, they don't sell beer here, but do have a decent selection of botanica-type products, alleged good luck products, etc.; sprays, oils, candles, fragrances, charcoals, and incense (see pics). read more

The last 2 times I've went to this CVS I was treated rudely by the same employee. Completely unprofessional and physically annoyed ringing up my purchase. I smiled and asked how she was and she made eye contact with me, rolled her eyes and signed into her computer. She had made inappropriate comments about my purchase the previous time. She wasn't wearing a uniform or a name tag, maybe she's upper management. I will no longer be going to this location. read more

I need to go here for everything while I'm working. First experience was decent. Nice cashier who was pleasant and polite. Next time I simply walked up and asked where the electronics section is and they called a manager who rudely demanded that I go find it myself and ring the bell, then inevitably led me there anyway. Just now I went to get some numbing stuff for my teeth and the cashier couldn't have been more condescending. She threw my change on the counter and just walked away while I had my arm clearly extended to receive my change. Not to mention there were a couple customers behind me that she promptly ignored to go do whatever. No other cashiers were there. Considering the other reviews, the managers don't care much about maintaining a decent staff. Avoid this one if at all possible. Though some of us have no choice. read more

i had the worst EXPERIENCE at the pharmacy in this store. The pharmacist was a "floater" and refused to give me a flu shot because he was getting ready to close in 5 minutes. But, I had called prior to going there and was told they would give me a flu shot if I got there at least a few minutes before they closed. Instead, the pharmacist named Joe got very annoyed and refused to do it. CVS should really hire more "permanent" pharmacists who would probably be more focused on providing good customer service than this "floater" was... If he didn't want to be bothered close to closing then he should have just said "it's getting pretty late...why don't you come in tomorrow." If he had been honest, I wouldn't have wasted my time and gas to get there within the time frame he said. I will take my business to Rite-Aid from now on... read more

very friendly and nice. We use to go to Walgreens in Medford 112 and Woodside but CVS doesn't sell cigarettes or tabacco which we like alot. I like like alot. They drive thru pharmacy staff are very nice always, in store is nice well lite and nice. Tots love it. read more

This CVS is closed as of earlier this year with the construction of one at Montauk and Phyllis. It is now Advance Auto Parts and doesn't have nearly the traffic CVS had. read more
