I very OFTEN get scripts filled and refilled for myself and my large family. I've had scripts transferred from other pharmacies and old scripts refilled whenever I need them. This location is actually my favorite CVS from an array of towns or states I've been. The Pharmacists really do the work, their polite, and if you go after work or at the last hour before close yes there's a wait ( not exceptionally longer than anywhere else at 5pm). I go in the afternoon. Never a wait. And I only use the drive thru. I've been using the CVS Pharmacy for 3 years now.

I have been here multiple times and seen associates removing products close to expiration, keeping only fresh items on the sales floor. They are higher priced than their competitors, which is a shortcoming. The pharmacy staff are very slow sometimes, but I think this is a staffing issue. It is faster to go inside than to go through the drive-thru, which you would think would be the opposite.

She blatantly said to me over and over about it's just a old xmiss item. Like I can deal with it. She didn't want to fix it at all. Then proceeded to get nasty to the young gentlemen on register and tell him to go rip down the stickers that's state buy two get one free. I did tell her I didn't like the way she was talking to him it was not his fault. Her response to me is I'm not being nasty I'm telling him what he can go and do you're telling him to pull down stickers that are good until the end of the day because you don't want to deal with giving me the discount. Said then proceeded to tell me she would call her manager she walked down one part of the store and back up the next one where my daughter was standing laughing with one of the other employees as she walked over to me and said no he won't do that for you and if you have a problem you can call him on Monday. So I stated that's fine but the deal will be over on Monday because it ends today so he can then tell me that it will not work because it's no longer going on not a problem. It was not about saving a couple of dollars it was not about getting more what I didn't like is the way she spoke down to me and the way she treated the gentleman at the register. I sat there for a minute walked around the store and got my daughter I came back and I bought all the Items but one that was in my pile and the gentleman behind the register looked at me kind of strange and laughed and I said to him it was not about the money it was about the way that I am treated I am in customer service for 20 years and I don't ever speak to anybody or give them any kind of disrespect whatsoever yes I was looking for a good deal yes I was trying to spend the least amount of $ But when I showed her the picture of both deals on the display all she had to do was nicely say to me I'm sorry but only one or the other will work for this item she didn't need to try to belittle me.

I came here today for the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine…read more Roughly 30 seconds after receiving it, I felt light headed. A staff member, who said that he was also an EMT, took my vitals. My pulse was racing at 160. My blood pressure skyrocketed to 182/111. The young man also gave me a small bottle of water, which did not help. My vitals did not stabilize. He, nor the pharmacist who administered the vaccine were equipped, to help me. They did little for me. The young man said that he has an EpiPen but that my symptoms did not require use of one. Lastly, he did not even given me a glucose tablet when I asked for one. I thought my blood sugar was also low. I thought that I was going to die and called my next of kin. Thank goodness I had my phone with me. Staff called an ambulance, which came in about 10 minutes. The crew wheeled me out of the store in a stretcher and said that I likely have vasovagal syncope, which is a rare adverse reaction to the vaccination. The MD at LI Community did not formally diagnose me with that. Dr M. merely said that I had a "fast heart rate and racing pulse" in response to the Pfizer vaccine. An RN administered IV fluids and continuously monitored my vitals. Staff also gave me an EKG and withdrew some blood for testing. I spent four hours in the ER before my vitals stabilized. Lesson learned: ONLY GO TO A VACCINATION SITE THAT HAS AN EMS, AMBULANCE AND MEDICAL STAFF ON PREMISES. Google research indicates that Pharmacy staff is not equipped to handle severe reactions to any vaccine. I should have done my due diligence before I selected Walgreens as my vaccination site. Addendum: The pharmacist, Jenny, did call me the next day to check my status. She also informed me that she will be reporting this incident to VAERS, as required by Federal law.

This place is the WORST pharmacy ever, one star is to much…read more Pharmacy staff is RUDE, and loves to deny you your legally prescribed medicine, They pretend that the scripts never make it their after the Dr. office trys to send multiple times. or when they do get them they will delete the script for being called in a day early even know it takes them longer than that to even fill it. Then a bean counter will deny you because they dont like the medicine being filled and want to lecture you about stuff they admit-ably dont know anything about. They text to say your Rx's are ready to pick up when their not constantly, and then wont change the phone number in the computer the number I never gave out. When they do actually fill a script they insist on never filling all your scrips at once, So you have to constantly keep coming back, cause you fill once late you must keep filling staggered forever or miss doses. I have better than 10 scripts and best case scenario it will take 6+ trips to fill my order that was called in all at the same time. My family and I have even used this store for vaccinations. When my granddaughter was born, we needed to get the whooping cough vaccine. I got mine at the doctor but for my daughter and husband it was just easier to go to Rite Aid. It was quick and easy. They have a good selection of convenience store items and cosmetics, though the way they lay out the store is a bit odd. I've never been a fan of stores where half the aisles are laid out diagonally. Luckily, I've been in there enough to know where most things are, and they do keep the store nice and clean. I've never come across a rude cashier, and I love that they are part of the Plenti rewards program. It's nice to accumulate discounts on not only drug store stuff, but things like gas as well! Nice to still see this in 2026. This location is kept clean, most of the staff are nice, and I'm happy to report that I've been noticing a lot more Organic/Non-GMO stuff available to buy, ditto for Gluten free mixed in with the oldie-but-goodie items, which tend to cater to their majority Gen X and Baby Boomer aged customers. There's a bus stop for SCT routes 6, 51, and 53 at the Waverly Ave entrance, which is convenient. Plus it says open until 22:00 (10 pm). Only complaints are: Items/foodschtuffs are costly (aka typical King Kullen prices), Restrooms tend to be dirty (had to duck into the ladies room once, was a bit cleaner than the mens), The location is in an odd area.
