Hampton Bays had the best one and closed a few months back. The assistant manager explained how they are charged by the drug middle man amounts that exceed what they sell the meds for!! and need to pursue reimbursement- because they are not their own "drug middleman " which was a different term that I forgot!! For many not all of their meds. CVS, they explained is its own distributor and has a better time buying and selling meds - and is not being bankrupted. Wouldn't you think pharmacy regulators would help smaller chains have better pricing access in the name of consumer competition? CVS is devouring the market and these other companies cant afford to properly run their businesses like they used to! The next time you see competition going out of biz - maybe don't nitpick and cheer it on- They are demoralized and cant afford to be a pharmacy for so many of the meds because of a middleman distribution racket. I hope a few Good Rite Aids stay open! This one has 6 more days.

I returned and waited on the consultation line. The same male pharmacy tech attempted to work with an other pharmacy tech to find my address. She informed him that the computer went down and told him to go to the other computer to work on filling another prescription. She left to work the pharmacy cash register. I said "This is ridiculous, I was waiting patiently and now he's working on someone else's order?" As I walked away the tech working the register said "I told you the computer was down" and then laughed at me as I left the store.

When I first came upon this page, I thought I'd accidentally stumbled upon the wrong pharmacy. So…read moremany glowing reviews. Nothing but praise from my friends and family for Town Pharmacy. How is that my wife and I had the exact opposite experience as all these people have had? Well, when the owners of said business decide to sell it two weeks after you enroll your prescriptions. So basically, you can pretty much disregard all of the reviews up until November 2025, as they were posted under Town Pharmacy's previous family-owned front. I don't know who these new guys are, but this place is as hot of a mess as it gets. Nobody currently working here seems to have any idea what they're doing. They consistently get confused. I've called three times asking to have the same two prescriptions refilled and delivered to my home. Each time, nothing was done. In one instance, someone answered and asked me to "Call my doctor to get the ball rolling" while he worked on getting my order. Uhh...isn't that what I just called YOU to do? The venerable icing on the cake was one morning when my wife called to order her insulin. She was told it would be delivered same-day. Gets a callback a little time later: "Sorry, it's too dark out. Someone will come tomorrow." It was 4pm. My wife and I were left speechless. Until, and IF, this place gets its act together, I'd avoid this pharmacy. Already, reluctantly, in the process of moving my scrips to Walgreens.
