Since he left, there has been one mishap after another.. all of a sudden medicines that we don't take are showing up on our account. medicines that we take are not getting filled and we're not being told why or given the option to go to another Walgreens in the area in order to fill it. they are careless they and doing their job correctly. When you bring up some of those grave mistakes that they've made, they just shrug their shoulders and say "Next". I'm removing all of my business from this place and I really hope this is one of the locations that does go out of business because it's a liability for anyone to rely on them for their medicine.

They tried to do harm to their own in pharmacy by placing crates behind people they don't like. The store manager Eric was horrible to his employees and made them feel belittled. I hope who ever hires the store manager in a new place does not put up with his shit. Stay away if you can there are plenty of other stores out there.

Then there is a wait of approximately 10 minutes. There is always a long wait to pick up meds, whether you go to the car pick up or go inside. Additionally, when a Rx is written and it is too early to fill it, the pharmacist never has it ready on the date that it is supposed to be picked up (or even a few days later.) You have to Call Them and ask them to fill it so that you can pick it up! My mother and I had to switch our Rxs to another CVS (Wading River) as the Rocky Point pharmacy closed for a short period of time. When the Rocky Point store reopened and we had switched our Rxs back, they were unable to fill one of my mother's Rx there. They said they could not get that dosage (BP medication) and that I would have to continue to pick it up at the other CVS (Wading River). I asked why they could not order the dosage my Mom needed in Rocky Point and the pharmacist said they tried to order it but couldn't get it! (???) I asked how one CVS can get the med in that dosage but not the other CVS? The pharmacist said she didn't know why. So I have to drive 5 miles to another CVS for one medication. I could go on, but that gives you an idea of the (lack of) customer service.

She told me I needed another card, even though she didn't bother to actually run or check the card. She sent me home, and I persisted and verified the card. I returned to the same pharmacist staff person, who finally deigned to actually use my card and sure enough it paid for the prescription two hours after the initial visit to the pharmacy for anti-anxiety medication for a senior!!! I stopped in here to grab some OTC medication for my mom and was easily able to find what I was looking for. I also used the bathroom while I was there which was a little gross but I was pretty desperate and happy to have found one to use. There's no self-check out here which was weird to see in this day and age. The cashier was nice enough and check out was pretty seamless. Can't speak to the pharmacy here since what I needed was available over the counter, but from other reviews on here it seems like it's a little rough. Overall, it's a fine CVS if you're in the area and need a pharmacy.

It's EVERY SINGLE TIME. I mean, how hard is it? Name, date of birth...get the medicine, come back, pay and leave. Sounds like 3-4 minutes tops, right.?
