Lovely pharmacy. Kind staff. Refills are easy to do, and even easier once your RX number is in their system. Meds cost less than the large chain pharmacy in NYC. At Sag Harbor pharmacy my copay was only $1.99 instead of the $ 7.60 I usually have to pay. The selection of soaps is very good. The natural rose soap is incredible. read more

Sadly, there seems to be a revolving door of employees and ownership. I gave this pharmacy many chances to make it right after it changed ownership a couple of years ago. Prior to this, it was owned by a Sag Harbor local who actually cared about our community. She came out to talk to her customers. Now, they couldn't care any less. It is so disheartening. There is no patient/pharmacist privacy. We are made to talk in front of everyone every time they make a mistake or just don't have the prescription. They no longer want to help. It's just awful. Myself and my family will use another pharmacy in town. Some of the prescriptions in my family cannot just "disappear"!!!! and I want our community to know they do not have to deal with such unprofessional behavior. Industry standards have been lowered substantially all across the medical field but a privately owned pharmacy should continue to maintain a more personal experience. So good luck to you, Sag Harbor Pharmacy. You will NEVER see myself or ANYONE in my family in there ever again. In this review, I'm giving you the same respect you gave me, my family and my neighbors. Yes, my neighbors have had problems with you as well. You looked right through us when we had our grievances. LOVE this store. Love the new staff and Pharmacist. This is what this pharmacy needed. Happy to see smiling faces. The new look is great and the gifts are unique and not expensive. There is something for everyone. The card selection was amazing.. The best in the village. The pharmacist, Greg, was very helpful (and easy on the eyes, haha) with a prescription that needed to be transferred from my pharmacy in NYC. The owner, Janice, even offered to deliver locally to our summer house so I didn't have to come back!! I did not feel like I was being forced into buying expensive make-up or candles. I was given the space to shop while the staff made themselves available for questions. I see these negative reviews and it doesn't make sense. Some people can never be happy. I was very happy with my experience and will come here and recommend this store in the future. read more

Old school drugstore where you can still ask the pharmacist a question. Selection is a bit slim for actual drugstore items (cold medicine etc) but a good selection of other non-essential impulse items (Essie nail polish, hair accessories, scented lotions/candles) Like most in Hamptons be prepared to pay accordingly. read more

My family and I had a very bad experience attempting to get a prescription. We boated over to Sag Harbor from Shelter Island with 2 young children. I stopped in and showed them my son's ADHD medication prescription and insurance card. Then, asked if they had the meds and how long to fill. Not easy to wait with 2 busy kids. I was told only an hour no problem, they've even held onto my insurance card. I retuned in 45 mins and was told they need 15 mins. I continued to wait and after 15 mins was told 3 things went wrong. 1. They need my son's insurance card, which I explained the plan is a family plan and we all have the same plan number. Then, 2. a local called (I'm from California) in for the same meds and they won't have enough. At that point I asked for the perception and my insurance card back. I can't believe how incredibly inconsiderate. Are locals above vacationers? If you are traveling find a CVS. read more

Recently filled prescription for ear drops -- It was handed to my daughter, who picked it up for me, with the pharmacy's label totally obscuring the information on the manufacturers name, the instructions and other information necessary for the patient to know, including the possible expiration date, or as simple as "shake before using." I will never use that pharmacy again, even if it means driving 10 miles to Southampton. read more

i am from sag harbor I grew up here so I have been there many times but will no longer go back. The staff had been rude to me many times but the worst thing that happened was that the pharmacist gave me medication that had expired. When I noticed they said it was ok but I called my doctor and she couldn't believe they did that. And this happened more than once! Lazy and rude run business that I want nothing to do with. This is my health and I cannot pay for expired medication anymore. read more
