I went into Walgreens this afternoon and i was about to purchase a payday (candy bar) for my husband and all the payday candy bars were opened and chewed on like a rat was roaming and eating the candy. I was disgusted and immediately left for the sake of my health. Where is inspection this ridiculous.... im never going back in there. read more

The customer service here it's just as one woman who is just the sweetest, but the rest staff leaves so much to be desired. I went in to drop off a FedEx package and the gentleman behind the counter can't figure out how to use the scanner to except the package so he told me that I should go to another location about 3 miles away, but he's not exactly sure where it is. Literally the worst pharmacy for 20 mile radius. They never answer the phone, ever. Arrived to pick up a prescription when the pharmacy opened at 9am. Huge line for pharmacy at 9:10 and still not open. The front of the store said someone was back there. So we all wait longer. Then 10 min later another person goes to the front and they tell her that the pharmacist JUST called (at 9:20) to say they have a flat tire. Never mind they 10 minutes ago the same people lied and said someone was there. They said call the store later to see when the pharmacist would arrive. Well, they don't answer their phone. So 45 minutes of dialing and ringing later we still don't know if the pharmacy is open. So, went back in and they don't have the prescription. A prescription that was called in 2 days ago, and they never bothered to reach out to say they didn't have it. So basically spent hours trying to get something that they didn't have. Go to any other pharmacy but this one. The right aid in Southampton is better, all the whites apothecaries are better and the sag harbor pharmacy is better. If any pharmacy wants to move into bridge Hampton there would be no issues with competition with this place, everyone in there was complaining about how awful it it. read more

I have had the best experience with this Walgreen pharmacy. Not only do they stock a brand of my prescription that no other smaller pharmacy in East Hampton,Southampton or Sag Harbor will procure, but the Pharmacist gives a gentle vaccine shot and they are an extremely friendly and caring group. Scripts are filled quickly after the Dr. calls them in. The people who complain are the ones whose insurance doesn't cover the script or they call their Dr while on the line to get the script sent over and then rudely stand over the counter while others are being waited on or simply think they are more important than those of us on line and just begin asking the staff questions while we wait on line patiently. My doctor sent prescription to Walgreens Thursday. I called Friday & was told they didn't have the drug but would get it on Monday. I called Tuesday & was told "it didn't come in, maybe you should call another pharmacy." Walgreens never called me to tell me that they didn't have it & wouldn't get it. I understand that there are supply chain problems, but Walgreens should have called me, not just ghost me waiting for the prescription to be filled. read more

I have AARP's Walgreen drug plan The pharmacy is slow and disorganized. When there is only one clerk and there is a customer with an issue, the line does not move. At best, the line is a half hour wait. I paid and signed up to have my prescription sent fedex. On line and computer phone, I'm told there is no record of the prescription. I was on hold for 1 hr 45 min and was then disconnected. The pharmacy at Bridgehampton does not answer. I have called 4x, first I get the recording, and then the call is disconnected. Would leave zero if I could. I used to shop here all the time. No clear signage for where to line up to check out. The shift manager allowed two parallel lines to form and although I was there first waiting literally five mins for the person ahead of me to be rung up and then the guy who formed a line to my right cut me and although several other people said I was there first,the shift manager allowed the rude man to go ahead of me. Yes, you have to wait in line. No, being rich doesn't exclude you. Send your assistant. This is Sag Harbor in the summer. There is traffic inside and out. This place is understaffed given its high season, but they're doing the best they can and are friendly. I've had prescriptions filled same day all summet- what else can you ask for. My only complaint are the people who go in for 10 prescriptions without giving time to fill and stand there holding up the line snapping indignantly at the staff. read more

They are always polite, rush to fill medication when we require them in a pinch, and provide good advice regarding the most economical way to solve our healthcare needs. I recently stopped at the Walgreens in Bridgehampton (Saturday afternoon) and the older Caribbean woman (cashier) was rude and unprofessional. No hello, how are you? Nothing. As I completed my transaction I am informed the woman I would need a bag. She huffed (as if I asked her to purchase the bag). As I bagged my own things and began to depart she felt compelled to inform "all we have to do is talk to them!" I said talk to whom? The staff she replied. I told her "bye" and existed the store. I am not sure who is responsible for the hiring process. But unfortunately this woman missed the training course on what customer service entails. I never met such rude, ugly people in my life. And I won't even bother to address to the poorly stocked shelves and insanely long lines. Do better Walgreens. read more

Zero stars. The absolute rudest staff I have EVER encountered in the Bridgehampton store. Refused to give me my prescription after I drove over 45 minutes to get it. All THREE of the pharmacy staff needed to break for lunch at the SAME EXACT time. How does this make any sense? They literally closed the gate on me and said NO, COME BACK LATER! I was literally begging! They were all there, behind the counter with my Rx just sitting there, but they just kept saying NO, COME BACK LATER! WE CLOSE FOR LUNCH! The pharmacist is nice but it takes days to fill a prescription, and they are always out of stock. Being that insurance only always 30 day fills, when the pharmacy takes 1 - 2 weeks to fill, I'm without my medication for for 1 - 2 weeks. read more

This store is abusive to seniors seeking flu shots. No appointments. They make you wait in a line in the back of a poorly ventilated store behind every customer picking up prescription drugs in the pharmacy. They make you wait up to an hour when they might not have enough vaccine for all the people in line. They won't confirm before you wait in their line! You are exposed to everyone's germs just to get your flu shot or not to get it-- depending on your luck. They told me that I wasn't covered by my insurance. I insisted that I was. I had my card and I was correct! My husband has the same insurance and they made him pay $61 that he now has to fight to get back! It's the only pharmacy in our town! It was better when it was RiteAid. They claim that the email offers that they send are only good online. This store is a rip-off! read more

THE WORST pharmacy ever. Poor inventory control (even pre-pan-andemic), difficult to deal with, overworked and too-small staff (that's the big issue),can''t handle their workload. Whoever is supervising the branch at a corporate level is not doing their job. I had stopped using them years ago but am locked in to a Walgreens AARP RX plan and am stuck with them again. Most recent issue was an RX they did not have when 2 others were placed/filled. Almost daily calls for 10 days to their phone system told me 'ready tomorrow' or 'we're working on it and will call when it's filled'. FINALLY got a staff person on the phone who said it was backordered from vendor, not due for 1-2 (more) weeks. Yesterday I went to pick up an RX for my partner (surprise-NOT READY) and figured, what the heck? I asked her to check for me. First she said she had nothing, then she said, 'oh wait- I DO have it for you". When I got it home and checked the fill date on the bottle, it had been filled almost 3 weeks before. This was going on for a FULL MONTH. THEY NEED MORE AND BETTER TRAINED STAFF AT THIS LOCATION. read more
