It's open 24 hours which in theory is great but try getting someone to ring you up promptly is nearly impossible . Plus the self check outs suck . Don't get me started on the pharmacy . Would leave zero stars if I could but the one star is for the staff. They are helpful and friendly once you actually get to the pharmacy, but I've never once been able to reach the pharmacy by phone and my prescriptions are rarely ready after I get past the long lines. They are chronically understaffed and it results in poor service. read more

Complete waste of time going to the pharmacy at Rite Aid in Hampton Bays today. Took my 88-year-old wheelchair. Bound mother for a Covid vaccine. Got no less than three confirmatory texts in the several days leading up to this appointment one of which was two hours prior to the appointment. When we got there they made us sit there for 25 minutes after which the pharmacist came out and told us that they didn't have any more Covid vaccines. They obviously had my contact information, why couldn't I have gotten a text saying that they did not have it and I wouldn't have gotten her into the car and to the pharmacy. Very uncaring of the needs of the elderly. read more

I had a prescription called into Rite Aid in Hampton Bays last Saturday afternoon. When I went to pick it up about 5:50 pm the pharmacy was closed (closing time 6pm). I returned around noon on Sunday where I was informed by the clerk that it wasn't ready. No explanation. Just a directive that I would have to wait. I was pressed for time and asked what they could do to expedite filling the prescription. The clerk just stared at me and said, you have to wait. After pressing him further we got to a point where he indicated a 15 minute wait time. This young clerk was rude in the exchange. When the prescription was ready, the pharmacist spoke to me and explained it was not the clerk's fault and that they were very busy. All very plausible and that context should have been communicated by the clerk instead of taking a belligerent stance. I would discourage anyone considering using the pharmacy at this Rite Aid to go to CVS in Westhampton or Southampton. read more

I am only selecting one star because the option to select zero stars is not available. This is the poorest excuse for a pharmacy I have ever seen in my life. The pharmacy staff are rude, obnoxious and arrogant. It often takes days to get prescriptions filled, which is unacceptable, especially in emergency cases. The prescriptions are never ready even when they call to say they are. It almost seems as if they enjoy telling customers that their prescriptions are not ready. They forget that it's peoples health and well being they are toying with! To say the service is poor is an understatement. The store should be shut down! read more

I am yet another angry and disgusted customer of Rite Aid - Hampton Bays. This pharmacy did not answer its phone , requiring me to go to its location. It became obvious to me the pharmacy has no customer service skills, professionalism, or cleanliness. The Rite Aid website is also bad. My rating for both of them is the worst, too bad Hampton Bays: at least Hampton Bays has many pharmacy alternatives. Hamptons Liggets Pharmacy and Stop and Shop are 100 times better pharmacies than Rite Aid. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. The woman gives me an attitude the second I come to the counter, as if I'm inconveniencing her. My doctor tried calling a dozen times and said they never picked up. Then when I went in person she said he was "supposed to" send in the prescription a different way. Except that really wasn't true as he was calling it in for me on his day off. The woman gave me such an attitude and the pharmacist put him (the doctor) on hold for like 15 minutes just to call in 1 pill of an antibiotic. Every time I come here for myself or my wife, the prescriptions are never ready. It don't matter how much notice they are given to have it ready. Today I went to pick up some meds and they weren't ready as usual. They say it will be ready in 10 min. Not even 5 min they were ready. So your telling me that in 3 hours when you open, you can't fill my script in less than 5 minutes when it was being picked up at a specific time. If I could I would give 0 stars. I will be changing my pharmacy to Barths pharmacy. A lot more reliable and on time. read more

I am fed up with this Rite Aid store. Ive been a customer for four years and times out of ten, my prescriptions are not ready. Today, not only was it not ready at the designated time (I called in for a refill), I only received a partial refill because they didn't have enough pills. Except for two wonderful people, most of the staff throughout the store are unfriendly and unhelpful. They act as if you are inconveniencing them - they have no concept of customer service. So I needed to get a prescription filled for my dog, for glaucoma eye drops. I needed to get him started on the drops as soon as possible, so I did not research the cost. I really wish I had. The eye drops came to $103, at rite aid. I could not believe it. When I got home, I went online and started researching, the average cost was between $20 - $30, so I called Rite Aid. All the women could say was sorry, but that is how much they charge there. Even if everywhere else, charges significantly less. It was a costly mistake on my part, but I will never step foot in there again and I plan on telling everyone I know to stay away. Not to mention the fact, that they are really not very friendly. I typically use the Stop & Shop pharmacy in Hampton Bays, but they did not have the drops in stock. Go to stop&Shop, not Rite Aid. read more
