The security guard outside the 7/11 threatened my friends and I specifically said "I'm gonna break your jaw," also blocked my car in. I had to call the police because he wouldn't let me leave. The situation was I was driving a very expensive car and there was no spots available besides the handicapped spot the car was still running and I was going to wait in the car for my friends to run in and grab a quick bite. I was going to move the vehicle if needed. But the security came and started slapping the top of my car and then blocked me in and threatened my friends and I. It's EXTREMELY unprofessional and super disappointing he was calling for extreme violence when we were willing to leave. The police came and helped us but VERY disappointing. read more

This 7-Eleven smells a little weird and is organized in a confusing manner, in my opinion. Stopped in here to grab a small pack of gum after a day on the beach and it took a while to find it. They actually had a lot of hot food options at this location, more stocked up than what I'm used to seeing at other 7-Elevens, but the smell in here. I don't know what it was, like a mix of BO and something else that had gone bad? Service was fine, we were in and out of there fast enough. This store is the worst! In the middle of the PANDEMIC I lost my ID and I have to use my passport until I can get an ID. This has not been an issue until I stepped foot in this 7-Eleven when they said my passport is not valid because they can't scan it. A government issued passport is not valid at 7-Eleven. Such BS!!!!!! I had to ask a stranger to buy my beer for me which was highly Embarrassing. I hate this place! read more

I came to this store to buy ice after a long day fishing. My boat came back late and most of the other stores were closed so my choice was limited. For one large bag and one small bag the clerk charged me $13.95!!! Based on my messy fish stained t-shirt, I imagined he knew he had me so I'm sure he overcharged me on purpose. I can see why this place is one of the highest grossing spots in the nation. Lot's & lots of traffic during the season in Montauk....and they've got pretty much everything you need for a day at the beach...snacks, coffees, sandwiches, you name it. However, I forgot a memory card for one of my devices, and that is one thing they don't have. When I asked someone in the front if they sold memory cards, I got a rude "NO" in response.....well excuse me for asking......I guess somebody was grumpy in the morning. I did come in here about half a dozen times during my trip to Montauk for a variety of things, but mainly for coffee, which 7-11 has always done well and is starting to even do better. read more

When my wife & I arrived in Montauk, we checked into our hotel and our friends picked us up to do some sightseeing. They pulled into 7 Eleven to get coffee. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary, it looked like the 7 Eleven by my home in Stony Brook (Maybe a little bigger) I was expecting the Rocketts singing when I opened the doors: *HELLO BILLY SALTS, HERE IS YOUR COFFEE FOR THIS MORNING* Nope. I saw Slurpee machines, the hot dogs forever spinning, cold drinks as well as items for the beach. A typical 7 Eleven?? Stopped by this 7-Eleven for coffee. While I was fixing my coffee, an employee was pouring the creamers from one container into another, filling them to the top. I mean the tippity top. A customer came in for coffee, when he goes to pour the creamer it gushes out all over the counter because it was overfilled. I helped him wipe it up, and told him how it happened. Had to use about 20 napkins, wasting both napkins and creamer. Not very cost effective I'm sure. read more

I'm not sure why this 7-11 got a few low reviews. Every time I've been, the service has been very fast in spite of its volume. The coffee is always fresh and the place is clean. I guess that all I really expect from a 7-11. read more

This store is pretty messy and the staff is not very friendly. There were two cash registers in front. I was waiting in line and noticed that someone had spilled an entire coffee in front of one and it was dripping in the candy. The girl who worked that register didn't clean it up so I did. I think she was relieved she didn't have to ring up any customers because of the mess. I usually love convenience stores in shore towns, but completely avoided 7-11 after my first visit. read more

They do not have any kind of communication skills at all they're not nice they don't know what your talking about!!! you ask a question they look at you blankly and say uh hu!!! then again they might not speak English... The coffee selection is great, though I wish they offered almond or another non-dairy milk. it's a seven 11 with the world's best location/view. welcome addition to the loved and old iga supermarket across the street. has almost everything and anything. quick good coffee. vintage and well loved slurpee. sun screen and that misc stuffs. generic crap along w healthy foods (kasha cereal and jamba juice and fresh fruits). totally and completely love it. read more
