I have been a loyal customer of this CVS location for more than 15 years. I have regularly relied on this store for my everyday shopping, and it has historically been my preferred CVS location. I am also a CVS ExtraCare+ member and pay the monthly membership fee because I value the benefits and services CVS provides. Unfortunately, my experience on August 21 was extremely upsetting and humiliating. While I was shopping for my usual household and personal items, an associate named Crystal suddenly shouted at me from an aisle, stating, "You're the one staring at me with a big ol' bag." I initially stopped because I was unsure whom she was addressing. She then repeated, in front of other customers, words to the effect of, "Yeah, you. You're the one who is staring at me with that big ol' bag. I always see you in here stealing." I was shocked by the accusation and asked her directly, "Are you accusing me of coming in here and stealing?" She responded affirmatively and continued by stating that I was "always" in the store picking things up and putting them down and that I was stealing with my "big ol' bag." I walked away because I needed a moment to process what had just happened. While I was walking away, I could hear Crystal speaking to another customer about me and stating that I was always in the store stealing. I subsequently returned to address the situation. Crystal was assisting another customer and then proceeded toward the front of the store. She went behind the registers and, as I approached, appeared to alert the other associates that I was someone who was stealing. By the time I reached the registers, I observed multiple employees and customers looking in my direction. I confronted Crystal about the manner in which I had been treated. I explained that it was completely inappropriate and unprofessional to accuse a customer of theft publicly, particularly in front of other customers and employees. I explained that I am a longtime, loyal customer and that her familiarity with seeing me in the store was simply because I shop there frequently. During this interaction, Crystal stated, "You don't scare me." I clarified that I was not attempting to intimidate her and told her that I intended to report the incident to Lynn, the store manager. I again explained that there are appropriate and professional ways to address suspected shoplifting without publicly humiliating a customer. Crystal then invited me to her register and began apologizing profusely. She repeatedly stated that she was sorry, that she had made a mistake, and that she thought I was somebody else. She explained that the store experiences a great deal of theft and that she is therefore constantly on high alert. While I understand that CVS associates may have responsibilities related to loss prevention and may encounter suspected theft, that does not justify publicly accusing an innocent customer of stealing, particularly when the associate later acknowledges that she confused the customer with someone else. During the transaction, Crystal asked whether I wanted to use my points and coupons. I pointed out that my CVS account reflects my history and activity as a regular customer and questioned how that history could be consistent with the accusation she had made. She again apologized. When she asked whether I needed a bag, I responded that I would simply put my purchases in my own bag, referring to the same bag she had used as part of her accusation. She again apologized. I also observed the customer whom Crystal had apparently spoken to about me holding a phone in a manner that appeared to be recording. When I brought this to Crystal's attention, she denied that the customer was recording me. Shortly afterward, I observed the customer discreetly put the phone away. The following day, August 22, 2026, I contacted CVS Corporate Customer Relations to report the incident. I also informed the store manager, Lynn, who expressed a sincere apology. I appreciate the manager's acknowledgment of my concerns; however, I remain extremely disappointed and disturbed by what occurred. I want to be clear that my concern is not simply that an associate mistakenly believed I was someone else. Mistakes can happen. My concern is the way the situation was handled: I was publicly accused of theft, the accusation was repeated to another customer, other employees were apparently alerted to the accusation, and I was placed in an embarrassing and humiliating position in front of other customers. I should not have to defend my character, explain my education or financial circumstances, or prove that I am a legitimate customer in order to be treated with basic dignity and respect. The fact that I have been shopping at this location for more than 15 years makes the experience particularly disappointing. Sadly I will never be returning to this store again. read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible 7/24/26 I had been 3 hours at urgent care to find out I had Covid. The Dr sent my prescriptions to CVS for pick up. I got there to pick up my prescriptions, the pharmacy was not busy at all. There were at least 6 people behind the counter putting away medicine (they are going through a renovation). Not one person asked if they could help me. I was standing at the drop off counter. They looked right at me and just kept putting away medicine. I stood there sick for 20 min before finally someone asked if they could help me. This was the worst service I have ever received. They should do their stocking and renovation when the store is closed. Finally the lady who helped me appeared to be annoyed. Not friendly at all. I'm going to change my pharmacy because of this. TERRIBLE PHARMACY AND BARE SHELVES. I've had several problems with the pharmacy including their not being able to find my prescription (even though I received messages that my medication was ready for pickup and I also had the barcode), making me wait for a total of 30 minutes as they looked between helping other customers, and also randomly closing (not posting closed hours) just as I was the only person in line to pick up my prescription, again ready with my barcode. They just shouted from the counter "We are closed for the next 30 minutes." I was the only person in line! Their drive-thru window is also covered in caution tape, so not available, making pickup not accessible to all. Shelves of the CVS are often bare or disorganized. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

The renovations and new setup are fantastic. Chairs for sitting in, now, while you wait; very organized. Downloading the app makes the process very quick. Staff has always been gracious and helpful in a setting that has the hustle of a Starbucks. I've had to message them before and always get a call back within 30 min. Getting yelled at across the store by the manager for no reason. My wife and I stopped here to buy her some ScarTape for her knee replacement incision, at the advice of her surgeon. This occurred on Sept 9 2025, early afternoon. Looking at the signs from the ceiling, I went to the designated aisle, only to see that they had no bandages at all there, only non-related items such as popcorn makers. I walked up front and asking the cashier, who was very friendly about it. She asked said manager, who annoyingly told me that all bandage items were on the back wall. Fine, she's not having a great day, who cares. Maybe move your sign? Just a thought. As I make my way to the back wall, she begins yelling at me from the front of the store, "SIR!! SIR!! SIR!!" I realize maybe she is yelling at me?? Ok....??? I respond by turning and pointing to myself, Manager yells, "THAT'S NOT WHERE IT IS!! YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!!" Um no, I'm headed exactly where she pointed, and I can see the bandages in front of me now. I respond, "Can I walk here? Is that OK?" By this time, all the people in line at the pharmacy are staring and looking around. The only direct line from myself to the bandage section would require me to walk through the shelves, and unfortunately, I have not discovered how to transport myself through matter as of yet. I have been using CVS pharmacy for about 4 years, but recently, they have become so busy it doesn't matter what time a day, there is a long line, as bad as Walgreens pharmacy, which is why I stopped using them. That aside, for three weeks, I kept being told via text and the app that my PCP denied renewing a prescription for me. Which she hadn't. They were sending my prescription to a doctor I had scene in Immediate Care, even though he had prescribed a different medicine and my regular PCP had been prescribing me the one I was inquiring about for a couple of years. So, The app kept saying my PCP was denying my request for a refill even though another doctors they, not me, sent a request to refill the prescription he had never prescribed me, yet their computer says it was my PCP who was actually denying me. (My Doctors office called CVS after my many inquiries about this) So for three weeks I was without medication I've been on for decades, that helps me with back pain, Gabepentin. Needless to say, I have moved to Ralphs pharmacy right next door. I had to call CVS, wanted to tell them after I received a text saying a prescription had been filled, that I no longer use CVS, an AI program answers your call at the pharmacy and there is no option to talk to a live person or a way to update any information. Glad I moved on. Side note, the three times I've been to Ralphs pharmacy to get my prescription, there was no more than one person in front of me and no one behind me. Huge difference! read more

If I can give a negative review I would! My doctor has been trying to call in all morning for my prescription for my infection. I finally go there in person to see what's going on. They tell me I don't have any messages but he can't leave any messages because they're full! They give me the same number to call on yelp but now interesting enough now they answer! I was visiting from out of town and my regular CVS said that this location had my prescription in stock, but they didn't, and so Brandon called several other CVS locations until he found one that had my prescription in stock. Brandon then gave me the name of the person with whom he had talked, so that I could ask for this person when I arrived at the other CVS. I've been stupidly shopping here for many years. I tend to get very dry, red eyes, so I USED to get eye drops here (Visine). About a year ago they stopped carrying 1oz bottles (even though the shelf sign was, and is, still there) forcing their customers to buy the .5oz bottles at a much higher price. The last couple of times I've shopped there, there were several things that I usually buy that they were out of. Today I went there with a pretty hefty list of things to buy, seemed like there were a lot of empty shelves everywhere that I looked for what I needed. I tried to find someone to help, but good luck with that. I finally just left the few things I did find there and left angry . BUT... guess what? I went home and found that I could order everything I needed, in the sizes I needed, from Amazon...for a lot cheaper...and with free delivery. I don't ever have to be upset by CVS again! What a horrible, messy, disaster of a store. Half the shelves are empty. I have an over the counter benefit through my health insurance that partners with CVS. I was just at this Sunrise location to spend my benefit. At least half of the items that were eligible had empty shelves. I did find two items I needed that were marked eligible on the shelf. When the clerk rang them up he told me those items are not eligible. I stopped using the incompetent pharmacy years ago. From now on, I will have to drive out of Palm Springs to use my benefit. I'm hard pressed to understand how this location stays open. One star is too generous. read more

We were there on Thursday afternoon, and only one employee, Alissa, was at the register. There was a long line, and she handled it like a champ! She did call the other employee for help, but that employee was also busy. Alissa even opened a second till to make it go faster. She was eager to please and seemed flustered by the line. We told her to breathe and that she didn't need to stress; we were all grown adults who could give her grace. I want to make sure she is recognized for performing above and beyond! The Pharmacists at this location leave alot to be desired. I've been looking to fill my wife's prescription for six days, but they don't seem to be in any hurry to do it. Finally, yesterday one pharmacist tells me that it would be available by 6:00 p.m. I come in the next day and it isn't ready. He tells me that it will be ready in 15 minutes. I return in 25 minutes and it still isn't ready; they went to lunch! My wife needs her medicine desperately. read more

Well, this was a new one: I left a prescription order with a CVS Pharmacy tech here--PER HIS REQUEST--so they could check the price of my medication before filling it. The tech said CVS would contact me within 3 days. Of course, no one called, so after a week of waiting I returned to the CVS to follow up. Their very rude headset-bedazzled pharmacist at the pickup window finally acknowledged my presence and shuffled through some papers to find my prescription. Then the kid that helped me didn't know what to do so he called the same girl that had told me to go up to the front. He took the next customer and then I had to wait for him to ring me up. I have to go above and beyond to communicate with both doctor and pharmacy always to find out it's on the pharmacy end. Not only are they lacking in work ethic but they have no respect for customers. Very disappointed with this particular CVS pharmacy. Recently, I moved to Palm Springs. I made the mistake in not checking yelp reviews. On Sunday, I was informed by their phone system that both my medications will be ready by Monday morning. Only one medication was ready. As for the second one, they keep giving me the round-around. To keep the story short, it's has been three different times that they promised to have the medication ready. The lame excuse the employee gave me was because of the coronavirus. I was under the impression that a pharmacy should be fully stocked at all times. Well, CVS , Amazon Prescription is going to run your company into the ground. Stores can be run less efficiently, but I am unsure how... 1. They confirm the prescriptions are ready, and they don't even have enough pills to fill the prescription let alone the other prescriptions prepared. 2. They fail to notify you when the insurance company denies your claim, and just don't fill the prescription. 3. The store was in such disarray that the same product in three locations, and each had a different price. 4. The average wait at the pharmacy... a. Well we saw several neighbors, set a dinner night out. b. Saw a couple of acquaintances and were able to catch up on 5 years of having not seen one-another. c. I'm generally a Walgreens gal but this particular CVS stands out for one reason in particular - Gun Oil aplenty. There's an entire wall of this uniquely branded personal lubricant at CVS, along with tissues and next to the vibrators. Very well merchandise and marketed! One should also note that there's instructions for removing Gun Oil stains provided by CVS. Thoughtful indeed. read more

Incompetent pharmacy. My doctor called in the night before and left a voicemail. When I go to get my prescription the morning after, they said they didn't get it. My doctor again called once I told them about it, they said it would take an hour to fill a common antibiotic. So unreliable, they don't check their voicemails. Avoid at all costs.
