If you plan on throwing a party or just want a few drinks, well you won't go wrong shopping here. They have so many different drinks available it's just overwhelming but one thing for sure you will find what you are looking for. I was looking for some Buzz Balls and saw the price and thought wow that's pricey but it was actually buy one get one free, which ended up being a bargain. read more

We've stopped in a couple of times for this and that. Service is friendly and helpful, and this location seems fairly well stocked. Easy, private parking lot accessible from the back of the store (S. Bellardo Rd. side). We can usually find what we need, and I really enjoy the BOGO 5 cent sale, and the historic photos on the walls (see my pics). As soon as I walked in, I asked very nicely to the lady who greeted us, Serena, where the restrooms were and she stuttered as she replied that "it just became out of order." Later finding out after walking through the store other customers leaving the restroom w a sign on the door, out of order! It's one thing to be honest and say they're closed now bc it's too close to closing time but to straight up lie and be dishonest to loyal customers is disrespectful and rude. Then when I confronted her about lying while checking out, she continued to keep on with lie, stuttering away. Disappointed with management if they're the ones encouraging staff to treat customers like this and I apologize if management didn't know about their rude employee, Serena. read more

The online orders are not communicated to the store and the staff cannot (or are unwilling to)take orders over the phone . My order was placed based on a circular received in the mail and through the BevMo.com site as listed. Given the amount of specials on my order I suspect the company is doing bait and switch and therefore should not be trusted! Avoid! In response to the comment from the Seller - I have been waiting for a call back from your customer service as directed by your online chat for over a business day. This isn't my usual rest stop for groceries, but I was in need of a rest stop because I had successfully located free parking right across from this specific BevMo. Not sure if this was my lucky day or what, but I located plenty of free parking on here to BevMo, Downtown Palm Springs right across the street which was only a block away! But as convenient as can be, this BevMo makes a great rest stop before you start walking around Downtown Palm Springs' block to whichever store or restaurant you were visiting. Customer service was excellent: the clerk I came across was friendly and helpful. I just bought a bottle of Fiji Water because I was in a rush shopping at 'Only In Palm Springs,' souvenir shop which was just a block away from BevMo. Next time I need more snacks and upscale Water brands such as Fiji, I'll be back. Restrooms were located out back and for customers only. Be sure to ask for a code. read more

This Bevmo location was well stocked. Not the best prices in Palm Springs. There is a better selection of some liquors, not so good of others. That is true anywhere. It just depends on what you are looking for. There is a section of pre chilled beverages. There are plenty of non alcoholic beverages. Bevmo sells more than drinks. The "Mo" part of this location is like a convenience store. This includes items like baby wipes, toilet paper, disposable cookware, and even jumper cables. Their "Bev" selection could be fuller if their "Mo" selection was not so mo. The cashier was pleasant to us. He wasn't as nice to the people behind us. read more

Bought two bottles of bourbon AS I CONFIRMED WITH THE EMPLOYEE OVER THE PHONE THAT THEY HAD THREE IN Stock. I purchase two and he verified that they grab them, put them behind the counter, and a wrap them with a receipt for me to pick up. This was done at 3PM on Monday June 27th, I make a NOTE I will pick up my bottles on Tuesday June 28th between 10-11Am. I am now 30 minutes into my drive since this location is an hour and 15 minutes away and I get a TEXT, not a call, not an email, but a text from a random number saying they don't have my bottles??? Spoke to Shannon the manager, which by the sounds of it NEEDS proper training, told me nothing I can do their sold out. After I confirmed my order and spoke to the rep yesterday the day of my sale. No other details not any remorse from her end, simply rude and not even an apology, quick to get me off the phone and when I asked for the gentlemens name that helped me with my order yesterday she refused to provide a name and was quick to hang up. Beware of this BevMo store, management and regional manager as well. My online purchase was stolen from their team of employees via (Gopuff and BevMo) and no one from mgmt cares. I received a scorching email from the regional manager stating (I) need to check my emails because my item was only given to the person who knew information that I had given them. Strangely enough, I have proof of my whereabouts and no one else knew that. More important, we called to store to have the bottle held and was reassured it would be locked in a safe. That said if "this" email thief the regional manager created, how did they too get it out the safe? Readers, DO NOT trust these employees. As per one of the managers (Aaron Ochoa) stated " he does not get paid enough to care about our order". read more

My girlfriend Bought Macallan Time Space on Gopuff app. Follow instructions from Manager Shannon. She promised that bottle will be safe until I will arrive next day. It was my Christmas gift from my girlfriend. I drove 4 hours and they gave my bottle to some random guy on day of purchase Looks like inside job who knew order number from Gopuff. Manager Aaron Ochoa did not care to resolve the situation. I wasted 3 hours to get details who took my bottle. Aaron replied he will not provide any information and I will not get refund from Bevmo. But employees should verify name who should pick up 1500$ bottle. Nothing was done to resolve the problem. I drove 4 hours to store, I spent 3 hours at store and 4 hours drive back to Las Vegas. 11 hours wasted of my time No Christmas gift No refund Horrible customer service by management of the store and Shannon lied to me. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and we are left with a total loss due to theft and internal accountability for this incident. The overall treatment I received as a FIRST TIME customer is appalling, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the outcome. I'm a local and grew up here, this old modern building has been many other businesses in the past and now BevMo has been set up in part of it for a few years. Easy parking and good staff. First off, I don't drink and haven't for over eleven years BUT people I know do. I trust the huge selection of wine and beer with the extensive knowledge of the employees. The employees who have to put up with a lot of buzzed tourists who stay in the nearby motels and small hotels nearby. I don't know how they put up with them to be honest with you. This leads me to why I'm leaving four stars ; if your a local you may want to stay away. The DB's that shop here are pure fake wanna be "desert tourist" DB's 100 percent so know that going in. People dressing like it's Coachella Fest in Aug is not only funny but falls in line with historic funny. Canadians, OC asshats, Valley and LA DB's, people from Ohio...you name it and they shop here. That being said maybe order via the great website and then pick up the order. If you can put up with the "tourist/buzzed on something" behavior then you'll have no issue. I understand why they go here for their booze due to the higher prices the hotels charge but they don't have to act like morons. So the staff is genius with selections, the wine selection and sales on the wine rock. The beer and ale prices are high but they have a great "beer snob" selection. The spirt selection is genius and they have some good prices on them. I use to drink Sake and the Sake selection at all BevMo locations is extensive and fair priced. So go for the selection and prices but put on your "DB tourist defense bubble" before you enter. read more

Here is my brief update for one of my favorite places to shop (I dislike shopping very much): We ordered the wine (reds from Italy, France, and Argentina), a bottle of inexpensive Polish vodka, and a twelve pack of Modelo beer on-line, to pick up in a few hours. I hate shopping, but their beloved wine promotion on select bottles cannot be ignored. The second bottle for a nickel. The store is less than a couple of miles from my doorstep. The store is neat and uncluttered. My pick up order was boxed and ready to go when I arrived. Kudos to Jessica for carefully filling my order and also being so patient with me as I checked the bottles for accuracy. At other wine and liquor stores, they are not so careful about being precise with your specific orders. Jessica was polite, efficient, and friendly. Thanks again Jessica. Friendly, helpful, and reasonable prices. Palm Springs has a lot of small liquor shops however BevMo beats the competition with their 5¢ For The Second Bottle sale and decent selection of champagnes. We were in the hunt for a bottle of Cristal and not in a mood to drive far to search for it. Other shops we've visited were either limited in selections or simply did not have any. We decided to stop by the local BevMo and was satisfied with the choices. We purchased a nice bottle of Cristal to celebrate our honeymoon. The champagne was in a locked case and asking for assistance was as simple as pushing a customer service button. Customer service was immediate and they provided recommendations for pairings. We even came back and purchased a couple bottles of Proseco which was part of the 5¢ For the Second Bottle. I recommend joining their ClubBev! loyalty program. BevMo has unique specials and customers receive an extra 5% off after an accrued purchase of $250. read more

Terrible experience. I was harassed by man working there named Tara. After shopping 10 mins w/my fiancé we were ready to pay, Tara approached us and started asking us questions. Confused, we told him we'd like to pay. He told me because I wasn't wearing a proper mask I had to wait outside as he rang us up. What? A proper mask?? I wanted to avoid conflict w/my fiancé present, so I walked outside. Tara then came outside to gleefully tell me my card was declined. Puzzled, I gave him $50 cash and told my fiancé I'll contact my bank to see why I was declined. Tara returned w/my purchase, my change and we left. Later, I checked my balance and noticed Tara charged my card $38. HE CHARGED ME TWICE. He was aggressive, rude, made us feel unwelcomed and told us to wait outside. Tara, mistreating costumers, double charging out of spite is reprehensible. Avoid this location!!! read more

Shopping at the store in the morning I saw a sign advertising a winetasting later in the day. I asked an employee he said "oh yeah -come on back". When I came back with my husband after leaving another event early to make it I was told that there was no winetasting available. When I brought employee to the sign he just shrugged his shoulders and kept repeating that there's no tasting. I am really bummed that this level of customer service exists in a retail chain that must know better. read more

Why give a chain store 5 stars? Because they're doing outstanding service to the neighborhood by carrying exactly the sort of groceries you want if you're staying at a hotel in the area. Since there aren't any mom & pop places nearby, it was fantastic to be able to pick up the things we needed without leaving the area. The staff were also exceptionally nice. Well done! read more

I asked for a return and literally watched him say yeah tell them to wait then continue a menial task before coming. Then he took a long time to complete the return transaction. A horrible customer service experience. The girl did not acknowledge a sub par product they sold. She did not explain the return policy. Just told me to swipe my card. Didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Did not thank me for coming in. Did not ask me to come back. She was a definite example of what NOT to do to have customers come back. I get it, she is young. However if you work in customer service, maybe you should provide a semi decent experience for the customer. The store is nice looking. I think the employees or at least the ones I have encountered may not experience a feeling of job satisfaction. I will not be back. I know it's not the end of the world as they are downtown. We are coming into town from San Francisco for Coachella Weekend #2, to celebrate a friend's 35th birthday. On the first evening, we are hosting a 16-person dinner party. I relied on Yelp to find a caterer/chef - and found the incredible Deanna Benson. She recommended contacting BevMo for our wine and alcohol order. John at BevMo was amazing!!! He spent 20 minutes on the phone with me, explaining the types of wines I should go with based on our dinner menu. He made recommendations for daytime wines based on our party size, activities, and the length of our stay -- and he helped me make more cost effective choices for our large party. I can't recommend him enough! Next time we visit Palm Springs, we will definitely visit this BevMo again. read more

If at a downtown hotel, this is within walking distance, which is convenient. As another poster having a nervous breakdown below said, it can be pricier than other places for alcohol, as it's a stand alone liquor store in the downtown area (par for the course in any city)... so, if you want the cheapest moonshine on the planet, visit Trader Joe's for their famously cheap 2-buck chuck wine selection. I found my 6-pack of craft IPA to be comparable to markets... honestly, it varies by $1-5 per 6-pk depending upon which market I visit, but I don't drink enough to be a bargain shopper. However, I do know that surprisingly, the cheapest place for one I drink (Ballast Point Sculpin IPA) is Whole Foods & it's $4-5 more at Stater Bros, Walmart & Vons. So, ya never know... give them a shot to check prices if that's of the utmost import. Pros: Convenient; huge selection; later hours; walkable from downtown; helpful, knowledgeable staff, who are fairly pleasant, particularly given that a good portion of customers are half-baked on the Friday nights I've visited; outdoor wheelchair ramp leading into the store; lots of kitchy alcohol related gifts, if you need something last minute. Cons: Drunken homeless on the stairs out front. They won't bother you, but it is sad that they're barely conscious & the police aren't taking them to the nearby shelter or the store isn't calling 911 to see if they're okay. When I take long walks daily, they're in front for hours. I guess the store doesn't bother them. They've got everything if you need something fast. If you need the best bargain in the valley, then you'll have to price shop as they may or may not be it, but the did have some wine sales & modestly priced wines, as most liquor stores do. Since I walk, I never noticed if they have parking, but I think on-street, non-meter is available. I'll update the review next time I bypass the store. 4* out of 5. They'll have what you need, but you may pay a few $$ more, which is to be expected. The homeless passed out in front bring it down a notch. The company should address the issue. read more

Been here a few times in the last month, the first time I was looking for specific bottle of bourbon, didn't get greeted by any of the staff in fact I was maybe one of 3 customers there but the staff was running around stocking stuff which I understand however when I had questions every staff member made it a point to ignore me, in fact I was almost shoved out of the way because he needed to get by not a excuse me not anything. I let that go and still bought the bottle, I went here again today, mine you I have spent thousands at bevmo and total wine. I asked to use the restroom he said nope because of Covid, I understand we have to keep Covid conscious however post a sign saying that. Again I continued to let it go and still no help. I posted this review because of ongoing bad service, my suggestion is to keep customers happy, with a 2 star average on reviews It is very clear management nor anybody here gives a crap about customers. read more

I felt like I was in a high end grocery store. Recycled wood panels, hand painted signs, liqueurs behind lighted glass case.... They still have their 5 cent wine but it's not stacked on wine boxes. This BevMo has an incredible location. Ear some major hotels in Downtown Palm Springs. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The store was beautiful and well laid out. I'm a bit jealous my local BevMo is not as nice as this one. I would have preferred a larger selection of sofas. I love to mix with Zevia but sadly BevMo doesn't carry them. They did have a great selection of other natural colas but all use real cane sugar and I prefer stevia based sodas. read more

Employees are rude!! Me and my 2 friends walked in vaccinated, but without a mask, and as soon as we start approaching the register with our snacks, BERT starts yelling and chasing us down saying "you need a mask or you need to leave" there should have been signs posted and we should have been told something BEFORE we entered the store. Since i didn't have a mask on me i asked Bert if he had any that they could spare us, and he didn't even reply he just gave me the masks with an attitude. Wont EVER go in here again. read more
