I came to total Wine and more today to pick up a bottle of champagne for New Year's eve. This location is very large and spacious, and the libations are arranged in a well organized way that allows the shopper to browse by libation type. The store itself is clean and there is always plenty of staff to ask you if you need assistance in finding the perfect bottle. I made my way to the champagne section and was able to find a special 2012 Laurent Perrier bottle of champagne. I went to the checkout stand, and the bottle rung up a little more than what the advertise tag had stated. The clerk was very understanding and was able to direct me over to a manager who promptly corrected the price adjustment and honor the listed price as opposed to the new updated price. The whole transaction didn't take long at all, and the staff handled the whole situation and away that did not make me feel uncomfortable or thrifty. Staff service: five stars. As mentioned above, there's plenty of staff wandering the floor to assist you if you need something and they are more than happy to give their opinion on some of the bottles should you find yourself on the fence or just needing some general direction. Parking is very easy and I have come to the store several times before. I only wish that this chain had better rewards program as they would probably see more of my business. read more

We went to dinner at one of the country clubs nearby and had a wonderful bottle of Alias cabernet wine, so I thought I'd try to find it here. I walked in and was overwhelmed by the selection of all kinds of wines and spirits, and the aesthetics of the store was very attractive for booze shopping, haha. It took me awhile to get someone to help me and unfortunately, Alias must have been one of the few wines they don't carry. Bummer. They have a large selection of Islay whiskys and Bordeaux wines that I can get lost in for an hour or so. Also appreciate their solid selection of cigars. Very frustrating experience yesterday. I walked in to pick up my priority bourbon order and stood at the desk for a good 5 minutes with no help and several staff walking by and ignoring me. I flagged a guy down and he mumbled something and I asked him to repeated it and he told me he was busy and the guy on the ladder would need to help me. The mumbling guy came back 5 minutes later and checked me off the list. He had to go to the back to get my priority order. I waited as he went to the back of the store and when he returned, He told me I had to go to the register to pay for it and he would bring the bottle to the register. I went to the register, waited in line and explained to the clerk. She told me I needed to go to a special pick up area. I went to the special area, waited in line only to be told it was at the register. At least the person at the special register took the time to walk me over to the register and find the bottle that the mumbling guy put at the register. Needless to say, this was a terrible and time consuming experience. There were a lot of staff working, but no focus on customer service. read more

After being charged incorrectly for items on 7 different occasions, I have finally reached the end of my rope with this business. Because I have been billed for $1-$3 more than the corresponding tag under the item so many times, I began taking a picture of each price tag for proof. Yesterday, a 12pk of beer was $2 higher than the price tag. The cashier, a lady I do not know, but have seen before, was very put out when I mentioned the discrepancy. She said, "Well, I would have to find someone to go check it and we do have a line here, and..." as her voice trailed off. I simply showed her my phone and then she called a guy on her radio to "take that tag off this beer since it is wrong". Then she looked at me and said, "Well, THIS TIME I will give you the price, even though it is wrong". Excuse me??? So, due to your continued incompetence to align the right prices with the right product, you will so graciously ring it up "this time"? Save your breath lady. I'll not trouble you folks again. You should sign up for their rewards system prior to your purchase. They have certain deals offered every now and then that may cater to your preferences. The employees are usually nice and friendly, sometimes you'll have to walk around to find one if you need assistance, especially later in the day or evening. The store has been recently remerchandised. Most aisles have been moved and products shuffled as well. As I went in today for Baileys Irish Cream and Grand Marnier. Asked several employees what aisle and was directed accordingly. I could not find Grand Marnier after several passes on the aisle. Finally an associate took me to it on the bottom shelf buried out of view. I found the same on Baileys Irish Cream, bottom left corner on the aisle. The products at eye level I did not recognize, but they certainly had better shelf position. So my assumption is TW is attempting to push off brands rather than present the best sellers in favor of the customer. Customer First? The Lagunitas IPNA is a very my low alcohol beer that ranks as the best NA beer I've had to date. On the other hand the hoppy refresher has no alcohol at all and no calories. It's absolutely a hop forward refresher that's blown my mind. I've tried to find these two on my travels and I was able to locate them both at Total Wine. Wow, this is like an alcoholic mega-store. The staff here while not unfriendly, did not go out of their way to offer assistance or greet. This place had a fantastic selection of, well of everything and anything!
