I called and spoke with Greg(one of the pharmacists) and he was so kind over the phone. I had to rush the order because the first pharmacists and CVS did not tell me about Keefer's until I spoke with another pharmacist that told me about them right away. Greg understood the urgency and got on it right away. I was able to pick up the Rx the following day. I have a high deductible so Greg suggested I pay out of pocket with no insurance affiliation and it ended up significantly cheaper - by 50%. This was acceptable because I would just submit it for reimbursement to my HSA(Health Savings Account) similar to FSA(Flexible Spending). Apparently claiming one does not have insurance yields a cheaper cost - amazing how much less uninsured individuals are charged. This was definitely old school pharmacy but I liked it. My Mom was a pharmacist and it brought memories from my childhood. I walked around just looking at everything in the store. They have unique items. The prices were slightly higher than say Walmart or CVS/Walgreens so maybe that's why it seems the items don't appear too move as much - at least it appears that way (when items don't look like they've moved out of their spot on the shelf) but I could be wrong. I'm so bummed that I lived in Mount Prospect and Arlington Heights for ten years that I never walked into this place. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here again. If they provide the same cost for my other Rx then I will be giving them more of my business.

I was initially giving 3 stars but I've had some reconsiderations since my last visit. This location has always felt kinda of dingy to me. It's smaller that most other Walmarts I've been to, and thus isles feel a little cramped. I am generally able to find what I need , but it is still a limited selection compared to the bigger stores. It does the bare minimum as a Walmart but I do not favor this place that much. They do not carry produce whatsoever, only stock pre packaged, boxed and canned foods. (Which isn't good for families in the area) I feel I spend too much time whenever I'm here and I just can't vibe with it. The sketch feel and overall subpar atmosphere is just not for me. If there was less development in the area I'd be inclined to avoid it altogether.

No mention of the business, so I had to ask if I was calling the right place. She said their system was down and she'd call me shortly when it was back up. No return call. I called again just before 2:30pm. Same woman answered. She seemed pretty annoyed that I was calling to check the status of my prescription (that was submitted yesterday, and was clearly ignored). She said she would fill it right then, then promptly hung up on me. Two minutes later she called back to say they don't have the drug. Gee, thanks for letting me know over 24 hours later. I'm obviously taking my business elsewhere.

Yet when I went yesterday to pick it up, I was told they never received it. This was after I had criticized their new machine at the drive-up window. And was told I had to come in the store. To get my prescription. I am handicapped and this store has 12 electric carts that are never charged. The New druggist behind the counter could have told me this at the drive through with the "broken" register, without me struggling to go into the store. The recently got a new manager. and several new pharmacists. I have been in retail sales most of my adult life, and if I would have had her attitude I would have been out on my ear. I told her I would be telling all my friends about her, and she just put her hand on her hip, struct a pose, and said "oh well". What ever happened to customer service? Very upset 77 year old.

Also I had to three way call my Rx coverage because they couldn't get the drug covered said my daughter wasn't showing coverage. When I got them on the line they said they couldn't update their incorrect RX codes in the system without contacting help desk which now I also need to wait till tomorrow to get my prescription cost reimbursed once they process the coverage. This has been such a painful process! Update - got a call from the Pharmacist later this evening and she was very nice and helped process my updated pharmacy coverage so I'll get a refund tomorrow. They tend to have lower pricing than other gas stations in the area, too. Their convenience store has ample and varied stock. Their liquor tends to be good quality at reasonable prices. They still have their restaurant but we haven't eaten there in several years so I can't speak to that. The only issue is if you have to make a left turn out of their parking lot. Turning left across three lanes of cross traffic on Algonquin and Roselle Roads can be treacherous. You're better off making a right, then making a u-turn.

They installed a wheel guidance metal pipe on each side of the track…read moreand if you drive anything with low front skirt, chin spoiler, etc. like a Corvette, Ferrari or mustangs, etc. you risk the risk to pull off your front panel all together is you roll over it as I happened to my Buick GS Regal as the front skirt is low. It is totally unnecessary and is ill designed for car with a low front end clearance like mine. In short, do not use the car wash unless you have a front clearance of 5 inches or higher. Take my advice and thank me later. Expensive lesson to learn otherwise
