So my order was for a passport images/ 4-6 portrait instead they printed landscape with half my head missing. And they took 2 weeks to screw up order. I definitely won't recommend this to anyone specially there photo and print. Funny there website says order done in 2 hrs but in my case took 2 weeks a screwed up my order. Michael was rude i would not ask him for help. And the yelp is asking to give them a star is there a negative star then I would give to them. I would take my business to Walgreens at least they have a turn around time of one hour if it's not don't in an hour your money back free prints. So they are about the same in price. read more

The CVS in Long Grove, IL is an absolute embarrassment based on my experience. I've never dealt with an employee as aggressively rude as Abdullah. In my visit, he spoke to me with blatant disrespect, actually telling me to "go cry about it to your mom, bro." That alone was unbelievable. How does this person still have a job here? In my opinion, no customer should ever be treated this way. If this is the kind of behavior management allows, it says everything you need to know about how poorly this location is being run. This CVS absolutely refuses to answer the phone in the pharmacy. After going through their amazing voicemail hell, I have been hung up on four times in a row when trying to speak to a pharmacist about a prescription they won't refill in time to prevent running out. No matter what method I use they absolutely refuse to answer the phone. Stay away from this location if you can! read more

I would recommend going somewhere else for your prescriptions. The staff are always complaining the system does not allow co-pays and savings cards to work. This has happened multiple times so far for no reasonable reason. They escalated to the pharmacist and he managed to finally resolve it, but this time the pharmacist was a complete jerk and did worse than not help. He walked away when he had no answer and said "that's great" when I explained my issue and asked why it was so often an issue at this pharmacy. CVS Corporate please check the security cameras to verify what I am saying. I recommend the Walgreens at 1701N Buffalo Grove. They are not perfect, but do not belittle and humiliate their patients like the CVS Long Grove pharmacist. read more

Worst pharmacy ever! They only had half of my 2 prescriptions from the same doctor ready and then proceeded to tell me they were closing for lunch so I'd have to come back after their lunch. These prescriptions were supposed to be ready the day before. When I asked the pharmacy manager why they weren't ready his response was " I don't know, I wasn't here yesterday". But he was there for over 5 hours a day later and still couldn't manage to get an inhaler in a bag for me because they were closing for lunch soon. When I continued to press for just getting it done he said " goodbye, you can leave now". When I asked why so rude and who the manager was he said he was. I was shocked. Horrible customer service. Rude, condescending, zero care at all. I have no idea how these people keep their jobs. CVS do better! I'm switching pharmacy immediately! read more

AVOID CVS in Long Grove! My doctor called in a prescription at 10 AM. At 1 PM I received a text from CVS saying that they needed more information from my doctor. At 4PM I received another text asking me to reach out to my doctor directly, except they didn't tell me what information they needed from the doctor. I called CVS to try to find out what information they needed. I was on hold with the pharmacy for 25 minutes and when I got tired of sitting on hold, I drove over to the pharmacy still leaving the call open and on hold. By the time I reached the pharmacy I had been on hold for 38 minutes. When I asked the pharmacist if she thought that was acceptable customer service, her response was that they were busy. They continued to take customers who walked up to the counter or drove up to the drive-through without picking up the phone the whole time that I was in line and still on hold. She was rude and not helpful. She just lost a customer, and she couldn't have cared less. Can anyone recommend a pharmacy in the Long Grove/Lake Zurich/Buffalo Grove area that you are actually happy with their customer service, because I have yet to find one? Thank you. Rant over. Absolutely trash. I don't write reviews often unless something is excellent or on the other end, awful. The male pharmacist was so rude-- beyond rude. He picked up saying pharmacist speaking, I'll transfer you to voicemail and just hung up the phone. I called back, but a technician answered and told me to wait for the pharmacist. I said ok, and immediately, I don't know if it was the pharmacist, but someone hung up again. I called 5 times after that, and each time I heard a click and someone hung up. Not even an answer- just silence. I've never experienced such a horrible, rude pharmacist while trying to prescribe a patient his medication. No wonder all the reviews talk about how dreadful this pharmacy is. I'm not even surprised. Do not go here. read more

This is my favorite CVS location. The only one I will actually go to (I am not a huge fan of CVS in general... I'm a Walgreen's girl). This location always has whatever I am looking for in stock .. It is also well staffed so I can always find someone who is available to help me find what I am looking for since I am not very familiar with the setup of CVS stores. on 4/27/21 I Checked with bing and google on what time pharmacy opens. Both state 8:00 am. Drove 8 miles one way to store and it does not open until 9:00 am. Told manager and he stated I should have gone on cvs.com. He said he has no control over anything but CVS. Dropped a prescription off for my husband. Before we went I checked on-line with his coverage to see how much the generic of the drug the doctor had written would cost. Got to the pharmacy & the pharmacy tech said there was no generic and she confirmed it with the pharmacist. I mentioned the name of the drug I had found as a generic but did specify I could not be sure since "they are the experts". They said they'd call the doctor. Two days later we get a call from the pharmacy with the generic in the dosage that I had mentioned when we had dropped the prescription off. FINALLY! Long Grove has a strip mall in their own town! This CVS opened in the Spring of 2011. It's very clean, as is every CVS, and well stocked. A good amount of parking around the entrance. I love CVS's Extrabucks - which is store credit given from certain products that you can use towards your next purchase. Great to combine them with manufacturing coupons! read more

Two Tammies work here. The Tammie in cosmetics is so helpful and so energetic and efficient. She really makes your shopping experience incredible. She actually rang an item separately so I would get a four dollar coupon back immediately. She then used that $4 coupon on the rest of my cosmetics purchase. She totally works the system and it's on the up and up. She also reminded me that there is a 100% guarantee and your money back if I don't like any item. She's just terrific. I had to wait at the pharmacy for a while it was a busy Saturday morning they have 2 drive through lanes phone lines and customers in person. Only two pharmacists at work. Was in the area for a b-day party last weekend and stopped here to pick up a b-day card. Brought it to the register and the employee rings it up. $4.35. I put my debit card into the chip reader, and the employee says "oh, the computer system is down. I can't process the transaction unless you have cash." I specifically asked "are you sure this won't show up on my debit account?" Employee says "absolutely not. I can't process the transaction." Fine. I walk out without the b-day card and bought one at a Walgreens instead. Next day I check my debit card activity and lo and behold! There's a $4.35 charge from this CVS posted to my account. So I call my bank and they say to first call the merchant. Fine. I call and speak to the store manager, Jigar, and explained what happened including the specific date and time of the "transaction". He says if I want my money back I have to bring my bank statement to him at the store to prove that they actually charged my card before he would refund my money. I then tell him I live 20 miles away in Lindenhurst and I wasn't about to drive an hour round trip and spend about $4.00 in gas so that he can fix his store's error and refund me the $4.35 they charged me for no merchandise. I also told him if he made me drive all the way down there so he could fix his store's $4.35 mistake, I would be creating a scene the entire time I was in there so that everyone in that store knew all about this ridiculous situation that he and his store created. Thankfully I didn't have to drive all the way down there because I called my bank back, explained the situation to them, and they agreed with me and refunded me my $4.35. I certainly hope the bank gets that $$$ back from Jigar and his ridiculous CVS store. If this is how CVS operates I will always pass them by for Walgreens from now on. read more
