Had to swing by & pickup a last minute item on a holiday & thankfully they were available yesterday. See what I did there? While there was a line already forming for one cashier another offered to help me at their counter so I wouldn't have to wait as long. I appreciated the fact that they noticed I just had one item so it didn't make sense to wait like that while the other shoppers had much more to purchase. I just wanted to be in & out, which I was able to do thankfully due to this kind cashier. See what I did again? Gobble gobble. On top of that, I noticed my information on my rewards card needed to be updated & that it needed to be replaced since the barcode was all faded, so the cashier was nice enough to take care of that as well. They were patient enough to let me place my rewards card onto my key ring when all they just needed was for me to insert my card for payment. Not sure if you'll ever read this, but "Thank you Maria" for your customer service going above and beyond for me. I can honestly say I was cared for. Hope you get a raise and/or bonus during this holiday season. read more

I have really bad experience with Libertiville/Vernon Hills brunch on Townlane road. I used the brunch for my prescriptions 2 years ago and moved. Since than the brunch keeps to latch each single prescription I submit to other brunch, cancel my prescriptions randomly. They turn my life to nightwear. Walgreens support can't help with it. read more

The pharmacy takes forever if you drorp off a prescription they need more staff, a lot of people use this store. Mostl of the staff are friendly and helpful though. Jamie in cosmetics is great. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. Made appt for my daughter's 4th Covid shot at 3:30 on a Saturday. Got there around 3:35 and checked in. A lot of ppl were waiting to get flu shot. Waited for 45 minutes before being called, only to find out they made a mistake on the order. They thought we were there for flu shot, even though the system said Covid updated booster. Waited another 30 minutes to finally get the shot. WHAT'S THE POINT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT???? They didn't even apologize or anything. Next time I will just go to Jewel pharmacy in Mundelein. I went there for Covid shot twice, made appointment both times, had no issue getting shots right away. read more

Went into purchase some yard waste tags, the cashier seemed to be from eastern Europe judging by her accent. She does not greet, just looking at me like "what do you want?" I ran in to pick up some gift cards after dinner next-door. The only snag was on the first gift card the cashier thought I said 50 instead of 15, no big deal, this was fixed fairly quickly and I was on my way. read more

There was a really friendly guy at the register the last time I was there. Today, I had a mean cashier lady with an accent. I was scared to ask her for a blue lighter and settled for the red one just so I didnt have to bother her. The pharmacy staff especially the young ones have no glue how to do their job. With controlled substances they are most of the time struggling with. Or they do not have them (bad material planning) and then it takes days to get it and they are not willing to provide any help. Ongoing!!! I am tired of it! Walgreens is a great place to go if you need to pick up something quick. There is plenty of parking and the store is never super busy or full like other drugstores in the area. They even have a new program where you can order what you need online and have it ready for you when you get to the store. Other big box drugstores are not doing that to my knowledge. The store is well-organized, clean and bright. Also, the service has been great every time I have visited. The only downside in my opinion is that the prices can be higher than other drugstores in the area. Also, this particular location is not 24 hours. Overall, good store and will definitely be back. read more

The Pharmacy here is the best. They are helpful and willing to work with my specific medications and needs. My wife and I recently moved to Ivanhoe and tried the other Walgreens near our new house, but the service wasn't nearly to the level of the Vernon Hills location, so despite it being out of the way, we will stay with this location's pharmacy. read more

In a nice area but not a nice store. Smaller than others and always had solicitors outside of the store. If you are looking for that special item you see on walgreen's website and expects to find it here, chances are you won't, probably better luck hitting up walmart. read more

This review is strictly for the pharmacy at this location. I received the worst customer service I have ever had on Monday evening. I walked in with my boyfriend around 6:00pm on a Monday night to pick up a new prescription. I should mention that my boyfriend was wearing a gigantic arm sling and hospital gown because he just had surgery and needed to pick up his painkillers before we went home. There was only 1 person working at the pharmacy counter (besides the pharmacist) so we had to wait a few minutes in line just to drop off the prescription. When it was our turn, we informed the pharmacy staff that we would wait for the prescription. They said it would be about 20 minutes so we walked around the store aimlessly and returned 15 minutes later to check if the order was ready. We were told the prescription still wasn't ready but they would call us when it was finished. THIRTY minutes after we initially placed the order, we were still standing around the pharmacy counter waiting while the pharmacist and the staff member were discussing teeth whitening. Annoyed, I walked up to the counter again and asked if the order was ready. He looked in the computer and then said that our order was ready. My boyfriend was pretty pissed because they knew we were waiting but they didn't bother to call us when his prescription was ready. He asked why our order wasn't announced when that was what was promised but we received no apology or explanation besides "oh I'm not sure, it gets really busy back here." Normally, I would understand the pharmacy being "busy" but on this particular evening, they had been discussing teeth whitening and were in fact NOT busy. We were the only people waiting for a prescription. Terrible service. I will be writing to corporate to let them know of our experience. read more

The rudest people I have ever dealt with. Mr Yi is a complete jerk the guy works in the pharmacy. He should not be working there at all. He was extremely rude to me and decided to get into a screaming match with me after I told him I placed an order two days ago, he decided to tell me I didn't and call me a liar. I got AMAZING customer service today from Lexi. I walked in with a list of items I needed to clean my new lip piercing; I had no idea what half the items on the list even were. Lexi personally helped me find each item on the list. And afterwards, I put my list (and directions for healing) on the counter as I checked out and forgot it there.
