New year, new drugs, new location. Where to go? Ahhhh, here's one nearby and voila! The staff is super friendly. They gave me an estimate of 45 minutes so I decided to browse the store, debated going home for a bit, and while I was doing all that thinking - they called my name and I was in and out in a few minutes with no issues, no fuss and no muss. Store is clean. There are lots of different products here (like facial cleansers) that I can't find at big box stores like wal-mart or Target so I might swing by again. read more

Last time I am having my scripts sent here. The staff is inept and take forever to fill your prescriptions. 2 cases in point: Last Fall, my Dr. sent in a script for pain meds for my broken rib. Waited a few hours to pick it up (as they can't fill any script for at least 2 hours) and when I got there, they told me they had never received a Rx from the doctor. It was Friday and the Doctors office was closed, so I went without pain meds for THREE DAYS. On Monday, Dr.'s office confirmed that the Rx had been sent and spoke with the Pharmacist to confirm. When I picked up the Rx (which I really didn't need at this point), I was told "Lol- it turns out our system was down on Friday". Really? You really had the need to tell me that? To actually confirm that you all are bumbling IDIOTS? Yes, this is the caliber of the staff here. So.... Went back two days ago for another script. Ah- but I have learned a thing or two about this pharmacy!!! I know not to go directly there fro the Dr. office I know to wait at least two hours And after last time, I NOW know that maybe I better call ahead to confirm that they received it, right? So after about an hour, I give them a call. I sit on hold for 8.34 minutes and a live person picks up the phone to help me. Me- "Hi can you tell me when my prescription will be ready to pick up?" (Give them all the info they need to check) Pharmacy- "I'm sorry, we don't have any prescription for that name" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! NOT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So....... I call the Dr. again, tell her they don't have the Rx AGAIN, she calls them AGAIN, calls me back and assures me they have it now. I wait 2 more hours before calling to see if it is ready. When I do, someone picks up (after only 5 minutes!) and quickly tells me "there are 4 calls ahead of you please hold". I never heard from her again and hung up after holding for over 10 minutes :( I decide to just run down and pick it up. It has to be ready, right? It's been like 3 hours now! WRONG! The gal at the counter tells me "Sorry Pharmacist is on meal break, but I will make sure to let him know how long you have been waiting for this." 20 minutes later, I finally had my Rx. I swear- I am telling the truth- no embellishments! This Pharmacy needs someone to whip them into shape! 7/18/22 9:20 pm Sylvia the night manager gave me a horrible customer service experience. This employee Sylvia rang me up and as I'm entering my card info she tells me no cash back and cancels my transaction and just stood there so I myself had to ask why and she tells me no cash after 9pm with a very snide tone I assume because I questioned her . I've never heard of that so called rule here and I live across the street and come here often . The whole interaction just made me uncomfortable and rubbed me the wrong way because she was flat out lying to my face and being rude for absolutely no justifiable reason . I left the store almost in shock on how I was just unfairly and unprofessionally treated by a manager and i felt I had to get her credential so I can make a formal complaint so when it hit me I called the store back and asked for the manager Sylvia. When she got on the phone I let her know it was me and I kindly asked her what she does if somebody needed to pay cash after 9:00 p.m. and she proceeded to lie even more by telling me it was a"credit" store And that they don't do cash after 8:00 p.m. so she basically doubled down so I let her know I've just never heard of that at all and that I felt like she was lying to me and being rude for no reason and then she just flat out hung up on me simple as that just hung up , well the corporate office closes at 10:00 p.m. Eastern so I will be calling in the morning read more

The worst CVS experience ever. Accidentally gave this location to a new doctor instead of the one I usually go to and they single handedly have made my post-op recovery so much harder. It took them 2.5 hours to fill a prescription, we ended up having to wait in the car for 30 minutes after getting there. Then when they gave the meds they forgot one and claimed they never received the prescription. I called my doctors office and they said the medication was verified already BY THE CVS! Huh?! Spending half my dad chasing down medications after surgery is insane. read more

Came by here with the hubby. Just needed to get a few odds and ends and some iced tea. Everything's organized, so we had no issues finding anything that we needed. And the service was actually very good! All of the employees we met on a late night were very polite, and they didn't treat us with any suspicions; they genuinely wanted to see if we needed any help or if they could find something for us. Coming from a CVS, that's sometimes unheard of. So, yes, may be back. This CVS is a little outdated, but it's organized and clean to what it can be, and it has the small necessities you may be looking for. read more

Last September I purchased a $75.00 Nordstrom gift card at CVS on Katella/Tustin Ave in Orange Calif. I included the barcoded gift receipt with my gift! The gift receiver tried to make a purchase at Nordstrom's and was told there was NO money on the card. Frustrated... but I assumed it wouldn't be a problem getting a new card. Nothing was further from the truth. I had multiple phone conversations with the credit dept. (on hold for up to 30 min. a call) I had to pursue them. Not once was I notified as promised by email! They would continue to tell me it was under investigation. Two months later I finally received a VM that stated. They have concluded their investigation. They have "proof" that the money was put on the card. Therefore, CVS is NO LONGER responsible. And the Claim #S109969 has been closed. I was also told to go to Nordstrom for further investigation. After speakIng with the very professional person at Nordstrom. I understand that they have no way of tracking my purchase on this card! I then called the corporate office for CVS. I asked for the Supervisor. I was given the rudest person I've ever dealt with. She looked up my claim # and with NO apology what so ever, stated that it was "NOT CVS's PROBLEM"!" She also stated that if I wanted to file a legal claim to "Go right ahead!" I then asked for her Supervisor! She repeatedly told me there "Wasn't One"! I asked for her name and she stated, "KIANNA Employee # C27193!" I do not understand how a company can claim that they are "Not Responsible" for taking my money and giving me NOTHING in return! You also need to educate your "Supervisors" on how to speak to your customers in a kind and professional manner. I am in customer service myself. At the end of the day. We are grateful for their business. And will do what ever we need to, to resolve the problem. I work hard for my money. I have given you my business since you opened your stores in Orange County many years ago. Your company's policy's do not protect or respect your consumers. Never going back here again. The pharmacists are slow and they never have my prescription ready for me. I even started calling in advance to ask them to prep it, but when I come in the next day, it is STILL not ready and I have to wait 30-40min. Recently they messed up filling my prescription very badly. I called in advance and said that I had my prescription filled at a CVS in my hometown but that I was going to pick it up at this CVS. Told them to call the other CVS and make sure they didn't fill it there. They told me it would be no problem. I come in Sunday morning 10:30AM. The pharmacy is not open, all the pharmacists lost the key to the pharmacy and would not be open for another HOUR. So I come back towards the end of the day at 5:00PM and they do not have my prescription ready. They tell me that the other CVS has filled my prescription and I told them I called the day before to make sure this did not happen and they tell me there's nothing they can do as the other CVS is now closed and suggested I come back tomorrow. This was a time sensitive medication I had to take so coming back the next day was honestly an idiotic thing to say. The staff at the pharmacy need to be replaced or reprimanded. They do not know what they are doing, nor do them seem to care. I've complained several times. The staff tell me they will relay my message to the manager and I will get a call, but I never hear from them again. read more

The Pharmacy is terrible! I've been on hold for 40 min. If they are not going to pick up the phone they shouldn't let you waste your time on hold. They should offer a call back system. Staff and pharmacists are rude. There must be better pharmacies. Incompetent. The short Asian Pharmacist is the worst. Arrogant, and Very rude!!! have been going back fourth about a glucose meter. My dr sent in the prescription almost 2 weeks ago they kept saying they never got it, dr kept resending it every time I went in "we don't have anything" then when they finally got it, my insurance didn't cover the one they prescribed so I asked which one would my insurance cover and they "couldn't" tell me. Normally when insurance doesn't cover what is Prescribed they offer a different one that is covered. So either they didn't want to do the work and see which one would be covered or there just assholes. I said fine I will pay for it, when he was gonna get it ready for me the lead pharmacist yelled "said she can get it over the counter" he told me which aisle but that's it didn't tell me where in the aisle what I would actually need for it! I NEED DRUGS!!! SERIOUSLY!!! THESE PEOPLE WILL GIVE YOU DRUGS!!! YAY! There is only one caveat... you need a perscription to get the druggies... So I had just utilized the minute clinic here and needed the drugs to fight whatever was ailing me... and while there was a short line (like 3 people) to drop off the Rx, it went fast. Pro Tip: Shop around or grab five guys next store while waiting for your perscription. It took about 15 minutes for my drugs to be put together and inserted into a container or three. You pay at the pick up point. They also have the pharmacist talk to you if there is something odd or special about whatever narcotics they are giving you. Consequently, they have a special spot set up for that next to the pick up counter to give some semblance of privacy. However, they pharmacist parrots whats on the label saying eat this with food or dont drink alcohol or something may cause drowsiness... Overall I was happy with my experience here. It was quick efficient and painless. I will likely be returning before too long. read more

This is one of the worst and most horrible CVS Pharmacy! The employees are very rude and NOT knowledgeable! I called the supervisor in charge on Sunday, 5/24/20 asking her to explain why her store couldn't take any return. I have gone there the second time within a week. I also let her know that I have spoken to another store in the city of Tustin and the manager at that store told me they have started accepting returns since last week. She was arguing with me instead finding out the way to help me her customer!!! . I will not ever return to this terrible store anymore nor will I recommend anyone to come to this store! I stopped using the pharmacy services because of the staff and switched to another one about 2 years ago. Today, I need some first aid supplies and since I was in the area, stopped at this one. I proceeded to pick up a red cart and the handle was GROSS. God know what was on there. I went to the counter to ask for some hand sanitizer as most places now make them available for customers. The young man said, nope they don't provide it. So I went to the pharmacy department and got the same answer but was told that I could buy some if I want (!!!). This is a pharmacy in the middle of flu season and there is no hand sanitizer available for customers?!?!? Unbelievable. As I desperately needed some first aid products I went to that aisle. The available product on the shelves was scarce at best. I didn't see one item that I needed and I'm talking about basic non adhesives pads and wraps. I am really really done it's this place. After 15 years, it keeps going down and down and down. The staff are non customer service oriented and the filth is beyond explanation. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Just want to add this: my daughter used to have her Rx filled here......I say "used to" because whenever she would drop off her prescription, the tech (or cashier or whatever the skinny kid is called) would always editorialize by saying she is too old to be taking that particular medicine. Who in the heck allows a kid working the cash register to tell a customer what she should or should not be taking????? Now even the pharmacist spoke to her like that. I don't expect my review will be read by any of the staff, but hopefully someone from corporate will see this and the other one star reviews, and realize that business at this location is being lost. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I was shopping for very personal items for my wife and I when I asked employee EDITH, where the ear medicine was. She directed me to the aisle and when I got there I was overwhelmed with what a disaster the section was with boxes and labels and trash all over the place. I decided to put back the items I had (pregnancy test and sperm test) and go elsewhere, and Edith stopped me on my way out, loudly announced that sperm count was expensive and she forced me to show her that I put them back on the shelves. Mind you she said this in front of customers. My wife and my personal struggles are our own business and I really didn't appreciate her announcing my potential purchases in front of other customers. It may not seem like a big deal but I am appalled by the lack of professionalism of this particular employee. If the items are so valuable perhaps she should lock them behind glass or put out one of those tickets to get it from the check stand instead of humiliating her customers out of some pathetic power Trip that she must be needing to glorify some lack of self-esteem. I will never go back to this location again and I encourage others to stay away as well. I think Edith needs some on-the-job training or perhaps to be demoted or even terminated. read more

I would not recommend this pharmacy for prescriptions. They can't seem to fill them as needed or prescribed and are causing me to go into withdrawals for a second time by being late once again. A regular script due monthly on the third, should be able to be filled by the 6th, but as of this date I still don't know when I will receive it. No promise has been made. The medication warns not to stop immediately, but to wean off. I am out again and they don't care. And, after talking to neighbors and friends, I found that I am not the only dissatisfied customer. Many of them will not go there at all due to the same reason. It has nothing to do with the pandemic. When I first went to them 7 years ago, they balked at two of my scripts and said "we may not be able to fill those on time, we are often late on our own customers scripts"! I took those scripts across town to another city and a different pharmacy and get a ride from a friend monthly to pick them up. I am disabled and do not drive. Good luck if you take your prescriptions to this pharmacy. They are hard to get through to on the phone also. read more

The most disorganized pharmacy I've ever been to. My mother has 9 medications here. They are never ready on time. They are mysteriously on hold when I come to pick them up, and they don't know why...it's never easy here! Lines are long and not enough people working here. What a pain in the butt. This is the third cvs I've been to in the last 2 months. One is closing their doors, one had virtually empty shelves and the last one today (this location) was out of each item I was looking for, including keeping the one over the counter sinus med I was sent to buy. There are at least 10 other sinus med spread out on 2 sides of the isle. A little signage would of saved me 20 minute. Finally got someone's attention to ask the question and was directed to another counter. Can I give a minus star to this pharmacy? Every month they have a problem with my one and only prescription. Either it is back ordered or they try to give me the brand name version ($62.00 more). They blame my doctor or the manufacturer or me. Even though I was told my prescription would be ready yesterday at noon, today I had to wait, get in the pharmacist line, be told there was a problem, wait again in the pick up line to pay. They never apologize for their inconveniencing the customer. Get it together people!!! read more

I just had an encounter with one of the rudest store clerks I have ever had the unfortunate chance of meeting. Her name is Sylvia H. Extremely impatient, extremely rude. When I asked for a 20 instead of four fives, she threw an attitude slamming things and yelling " Jesus!" I told she did not need to swear like that. It is never OK to ever swear at a customer and have an attitude like that. I contacted the store Manager Chad, who was very kind and said he would speak with her. Hopefully he does. She didn't think yelling "Jesus" and slamming things was the same as swearing. It is in my book! read more

Do not go to the CVS. They have expired items. I bought a protein shake from there got sick as a dog and then notice the protein shake that I bought has been expired over two months. How is this pharmacy still in business?!!! The first problem I had with them is that I received the wrong pill in my prescription bottle, thank God I read the description of the medicine. When I took it back they were very nonchalant about the mistake, really?!!! The second problem and the final straw here was when the pharmacy blamed my doctors office for not faxing back an inhaler prescription when the pharmacy didn't even bother to check the fax machine and when they did they said it would take 40 minutes to get it to me because they had quite a backlog.
