I came by this past Thursday to order same-day prescription refills after my mail-in order failed to arrive on time (I had run out, and couldn't wait another day for my delayed items). They were understanding toward my circumstance, and the pharmacy worker resolved my issue without giving me a hard time. I was really grateful for this. By the way, I think Kaiser pharmacies in general have faster and more efficient service than drugstores like Walgreens or CVS, not to mention the option to have meds conveniently delivered to your home at no extra cost. But if you need to pick up from an actual pharmacy, this one in Santa Clara is a good option, with friendly and professional staff, and an easy process. Every once in a while, there's a long wait (for instance, 30 minutes on my most recent visit), but on most days wait times are reasonable. I go when it's not as crowded, as the place can be a sensory overload and quite over stimulating. By starting at the rose garden, using my AirPods, I turn this pharmacy visit into a moment of meditation. Everyone who helps me out is friendly, quick to offer a compliment, and the small perks of hospitality carts reminds me that Kaiser is approaching the practice of medicine more holistically and patient centered. To make things even better, they offer same day delivery! Today I needed a couple days worth of a medication due to another pharmacy (not Q-Bit) not being able to deliver my prescription on time. Q-Bit is my default pharmacy, so my doctor's office sent the prescription right to them. They weren't able to fill it as they had to close early because of a staff emergency. The person I spoke with was able to transfer the prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy. She even went out of her way to text me 30 minutes later to make sure the pharmacy received the prescription! I have always had 10/10 service from Q-Bit. They can usually fill prescriptions quickly and always communicate promptly. I was extremely grateful and the process was very efficient. I walked in, filled out the form, got the shot, and was on my way within a few minutes.
